"Yes, I can see why a youma trying to get a starseed from a civilian in a nearly empty street would qualify as 'going wild'." Libra said dryly. She was a zodiac senshi, not a moron, after all. "I'll help you get near the hospital if you need it for what you did, but I'm not letting my guard down if you're thinking about pulling something clever at the last minute."
She handled Tate's question better than Wolframite did, partially because she had been half expecting it. After all, Tate was sharp. "I patrol in your neighbourhood." she replied simply. "I've seen you and your blonde friend around before, too." However, it was odd that she'd say they both looked familiar. Libra looked sharply at Wolframite, but didn't even feel a twinge of recognition. She'd have to start watching Tate more carefully, if he seemed familiar to her despite the magical glamour, there might be a Negaverse agent a bit too close to her for comfort.
Despite the fact he told her to go home a moment before, when Wolframite reached out for Tate, Libra drew the line. Moving to put a hand on his shoulder to hold him back, she asserted, "Oh no, you're not touching her. Not with that uniform on. Helping hand or not, your side doesn't have the best reputation with civilian safety." She nodded at her friend and said "He's right- I can help him with whatever he needs, you'd better get on home."

Actually, most of her stuff was pretty... untouched. She blinked at it, then smiled; it was a good thing that she wouldn't have to replace her things. With a disgusted face, she scraped off the gunk and then pulled off her gloves, rolled them up. Now her knees were covered, but... whatever.
"Oh," said Tate, her face immediately closing at the mention of Giselle. "Yes. You're the creeper senshi." Creeper was an adjective she used for overage men staring at her in the deli. It was not an adjective she used to describe Giselle, ever--but this was some kind of senshi. Who just happened to look familiar... "Well... thanks," she muttered, pulling the bag on. It smacked of backhanded, the way the blonde senshi was talking. Like Tate couldn't handle herself--and she could--
She clenched her jaw. "You don't like him," she said, well aware of her somewhat precarious position. She didn't know this senshi well enough to trust she'd do as she said, but she did know that the senshi or the Lieutenant Wolframite boy could kick her a** around the block and back. "He moved to save me before you did. If you think I'm going to leave him with you, you're insane." Good Samaritanism got you killed, most times. Tate's shoulders tensed, and she shoved her hands in her pockets to hide their shaking.
"In that uniform, he probably doesn't want to go to the hospital--do you, Lieutenant?" The military jargon came easy to her from long conversations with Zell. "I know someone. He's discreet, he's helped one of my friends before--I can take care of him." At least let her do that much, if you were going to cut her confidence out from under her at every turn!

He looked at his leg, and wondered if he really did need to go to the hospital, and then started to panic. There was no way he could go to the hospital. He’d have to go out of his uniform, and what if the senshi lingered enough to walk in and find out who he was. Then there was his mother. She would wonder why he was out this late and had a massive gash, and there was no way he could go on patrols if she started to become overly-protective again. At least more than she already was, and he didn’t want her adjusting her work schedule on his account.
Maybe he could patch himself up like he always did?
He moved his hand a bit and watched blood bubble out. Not only was he short, but he was skinny, and he wondered how long he would last before this became an emergency situation. He knew about Tate’s friend. Ivan was a doctor who didn’t ask too many questions, but what would he say to a terrorist being brought to his house? The man didn’t like Tate’s boyfriend, who went to Hillworth. This was much worth than bring a Hillworth boy with a reputation. This was Destiny’s Most Wanted being brought to the doorstep. He couldn’t have the cops after him!
What did he do!
When Libra touched him, he shoved his shoulder from her, limping a few steps away from her. “My side? My side is doing a lot of good. It’s you senshi who go about making the city worse. Ever since you guys showed up, our city has gone to hell.” He wasn’t feeling good, and he felt flushed in the face. He felt hot.
“I don’t need your help, Libra. If anything, you’re just setting me up. Do you think I’m that stupid? How about we both just power down and we can skip to the hospital together?” His heart was beating faster. “…I didn’t think so.” He looked back at Tate and then at Libra, before moving to the girl. “I can do whatever I damn well please, and I won’t let you lay a hand on her, senshi.” He spoke as if Libra was the one to cause harm, and he fully believed it. Senshi were no good, and who knew what she would do. The fact she was patrolling in Tate’s area worried him, but what also worried him was that Tate felt that they were both familiar, and that Libra looked at him with suspicion. They were both suspicious with each other, and he knew that must mean one thing. If Ladon knew Tate, and Tate felt she knew him, that meant Tate might also know Libra.
This did not sit well. Not well at all. Tate was his! His friend, and no one else’s, and he wasn’t about to put her in danger. “She’s mine.” With that he summoned his weapon and with a hard flick of his wrist, aimed at her. It was meant to stun her, and as she prepared herself for his attack, he turned about, grabbed Tate by the waist, and leaped up to the nearest roof. After that, he ran. Bleeding and in pain, he ran. The farther he was away from Libra, the least likely she would do something to Tate or wind up taking him to the hospital.

Libra stared at Wolframite incredulously. "I beg your pardon? We're not the ones sending youma after civilians, here, soldier! Tell me, have the citizens of Destiny City also made this city go to hell, then? Do they deserve what you do to them every day? You may have helped me, but all your powers run on the life force of others, Lieutenant. At least I don't need to kill innocents to be a senshi."
She was upset, but she was still calm until Wolframite said she's mine. At that, Libra became utterly furious, what did Wolframite know about Tate? She had been Tate's best friend, her Commander for probably longer than he'd been alive! "I beg your pardon?" she hissed, grabbing her scales.
It seemed like she had the same idea at Wolframite, because she whipped them right back at him, which deflected the jumprope, but in the moment it took to block the attack, he was gone. Libra looked at where he had been and, more importantly, where Tate had been, and then let out one undiplomatic shriek of rage, stomping her tiny heel on the ground.
The next time she met Tate, there was going to be a Discussion about this.
