"True... true..." Deskri looked it over. At least it wasn't an ugly egg. But hey, they both used purple, what could go wrong? "I sincerely hope that there isn't four kids in there. I might die of a heart attack or something." Deskri immediately frowned at the idea.
"Um... I guess...... eventually the parents are going to find out about this... what do we do?"

Sonnet thought for a moment. "Well, my mom was insistent on meeting with us as soon as we could after the egg was made. Remember, she said she had something important to tell us," she said. "She's rarely so...demanding I guess we could call it, so if we tell anybody about it, I'd like to tell her." she said.

Deskri nodded a little, "okay, well... I guess we could go there first. Um... I didn't tell Asu that we were doing this so uhh... if we run into her along the way I am so totally going to hide it. I'd rather just go straight to your mom's house and then deal with Asu." He rolled his eyes a little. "Do you want to just go there now or.... spend time with it first...?"

"...spend time with it..." she said after a few moments as she gently patted the egg.

"Okay then... back to our place. I'll just port us there and try not to pass out 'cause like... we live on the other side of campus..." Deskri grinned a bit and then wrapped an arm around her shoulder.
A second later they seemed to get sucked into the nearest shadow, disappearing without a trace.

After months of searching and trying to find the information on her own, Moira had finally cracked and went through the process of asking the only two other people in the Academy she was willing to ask about something of this level. Having asked Sonnet and gotten the needed information and telling her husband it when she had gotten home, the half-angel and the incubus had planned out the day that they could reach the Cliff without anyone intercepting them or having to worry about Tobias - who, now being a teen, was fine at home with a pile of books to keep him busy as well as a note to where they were going as well as her cellphone number.
"It seems silly to go through the maze, but Sonnet and Deskri did..and I'd rather not break tradition or anything if it happens to be done through magic to keep it from being seen from a flyover. I don't remember seeing it before." Moira said as she looked back to Vic and smiling at him.

The incubus did feel a bit of guilt for not being able to be as helpful to his wife as he wished he could have been. He was pleased that he had someone as smart as Moira that found out about how to get their egg and now came the actual getting of the egg which Vic would try his hardest in helping in any way. He this didn't understand much about getting it but as long as Moira did he didn't want to bug his wife too much about the information. Plus there was probably the fact that he might not get it as easily.
Looking around he turned to face his wife as she spoke to him. A chuckle came from him before he spoke. "Yeah it probably woulda been easier ta fly over but they might have done something to prevent people from cheatin', y'know. It also makes from good story." Vic continued to look around making sure to scan the area. He didn't think that anything would attack but it never hurt to be safe and if there was an attack the attacker would be an idiot for attacking the both of them.

"Yeah, that's true." Moira laughed softly before waving her husband forward, "You can relax though, I highly doubt that anyone is going to come after us here in the maze. Besides, if they do they'll have the two of us to face." she smirked after saying that as she continued to walk forward, trying to keep her knowledge of the maze in her minds eye. It was a hard thing to focus on though, the image she had of the place from her flyover was foggy and it was usually pretty clear. It was as if the maze was created with some sort of barrier to keep them from cheating to get to their goal, the altar of gold where she herself had been 'created' so to speak.

"I can but ya never know. Best ta keep an eye around just in case." He did just that as he walked closer to his wife. "Ya know it would really piss me off if we end up spending more than a couple a hours in here just to find this...what is it again?" Vic finally looked to his wife to get an answer. He REALLY hoped getting to their location didn't take too long. It wasn't that he was too impatient it just worried him a little about going hungry and more with both of them being big eater. There was also the fact about not wanting to leave Tobi alone for too long. It was still a little awkward between them but he was still his son, his first son.

She smiled softly, "The Golden Altar. It should be fine, Sonnet said it didn't take too long. I think the Maze just wants us to have a challenge.." As she spoke, she stopped and closed her eyes to listen to the surroundings. The ocean could be heard in front of them, so they were close, really close. It was close enough that Moira could smell it. "Just a little bit further."

"Thank god 'cause I'm actually gettin' hungry." Vic whined a little making a face. He was a fully grown adult meta but that still didn't stop him from having his little kid like behavior. He was about to make another comment when he noticed Moira stopping. Instantly he knew she was doing her thing to find this Golden Alter. Then he heard the good news and a grin was on his face. Really, sometimes he wondered what he would do without her. "Good. Now lets locate this whatever alter thing, get our egg on, and get ourselves home so we can wait for it to hatch or whatever. Wanna get my daddy a game on."

The half angel laughed, "You do know it takes a month for it to hatch, right? I mean, it's not as long as humans, but you still have to wait..How many kids do you think we'll have?" she asked as she turned right and walked along the path, keeping an ear out to the sound of the ocean and the scent of it. "It's going to be interesting if we get handed four like mine did.." As Moira whispered the last two words she sighed and placed her hand on the plantlife wall and continued to walk on.

"A MONTH?!" The incubus nearly tripped. He couldn't believe it. Sure it wasn't too long but to wait even more. Groaning he continued his walk sighing. "I guess a month is better than nothin'." Again he sighed, wishing he didn't have to wait so long to see his child or children. He would have sulked longer if Moira hadn't asked the question. "Don't know but havin' found would make it fun. Scary too but fun. They'd be our little birds but I'd be happy with however many we get. I just don't want to f**k it all up. Luckily I have you and possibly my family and yours. No way we could f**k it up." He walked closer to Moira, taking her hands. "Watch we'll be the parents of the year."

Moira gently squeezed his hand, "Yeah..but still. They had a huge family to rely on too..but I came from the remains of what can happen and I don't want my children to deal with that.." she sighed, continuing to walk along a path that she wasn't paying attention to. She was just going with what felt right and her feet just kept moving on their own. Soon enough her gut feeling lead them to their original destination, the shimmering Golden Altar.

Vic paid no attention to the path they were going or that they where at the location they needed to be since his eyes were on his wife. "Look maybe it can all turn ta s**t or not but I ain't gonna let that s**t happen. Not in a millions years. I know you and I know your gonna be a better mom then yours. Ya know why? You care and you sure better think I care too. Hell these are gonna be little things that were made 'cause I love ya just as much as you love me and I know ya love me." The incubus grinned. "Now let's find that whatever thing we're lookin' for." Finally Vic turned to see in front of them and he blinked a few times. He got an odd feeling that made him look to Moira. "Is that..." Vic paused as looked back before looking to his wife, repeating his actions a few times.
