Haha. There's also the penchant for mischief and a deep set shyness we share. I've been accused of being more horse like, but while I love veggies, fruits, and carbs, I'm more direct like a predator, but I don't have the confidence or grace of a cat, and I'm a bit too much of a loner for a wolf pack mentality. Country bred foxes are also more monogamous than their urban counterparts, which is something I definitely relate to. And I definitely like to pounce on little moving things (like my daughter). razz

If you notice, one thing I was trying to do with my totems was to associate certain characteristics with each creature so that someone could read that and say "I know someone who's like that."

And so far I only have one male totem, a bald eagle. Girls are just so much easier to draw. razz

New totems, sketched and inked while I was at "work" and there were no chores to do. (Even I can't stretch laundry, lunch, and physical therapy into 12 hours. razz )


Octopus is a shy and reclusive beauty. She is also curious and intelligent, but she keeps many of her discoveries and achievements to herself. She has a talent for blending in to her surroundings, no matter how alien they may be.


Orca has two sides, dark and light, as stark as her markings. She can be playful and helpful and beautiful. She can be bloodthirsty and vicious and tenacious. Her capacity for compassion is equaled only by her ferocity. Above all else, Orca is fearless, undaunted even by the great white shark.


Otter is playful and carefree. She loves solving puzzles and problems just as much as she loves goofing off. She puts a great deal of attention into her health and physical appearance, but it always pays off. Her looks can be soft and deceiving, because she can turn into a lithe wrestler if those close to her are threatened.
