He stared at her. Layna looked younger than Rayna..so he assumed that she was younger than Rayna was. But obviously she favored a sword rather than a staff. Calmly he put his hands in the sash around his waist. "A friend of Rayna's. She needs your help at the infirmary"

It took layna a few seconds to comprehend all this because it was so late. She swung her blanket back, jumped out of bed, grabbed her pink robe to wrap around herself, not wanting anyone to see her teddy pajamas, grabbed her sword just in case and stepped out of the room, heading towards the infirmary, not saying anything to him.

He allowed Layna to run past him, though he found that kind of annoying. With a heavy sigh he closed the door behind him, and followed her to the infirmary
