I'd be more inclined to get SS if only because I had the origional silver (japanese imports ftw) for the gameboy. Also, I have an odd habit of choosing the grass starter without actually meaning to make it a concious decision to pick the grass starter confused

I don't know which version I'll be getting, but I'm leaning towards Silver because i had it for the Game Boy. And I'll be choosing totodile, because Feraligator is SO FURKING AWESOME ninja

Got me some HEART GOLD with some CYNDAQUIL. Got a POKEWALKER with some CATERPIE (and now with some stupid berries, an Oddish, and a Paras).
I'm not letting myself do anything else OTHER than the pokewalker until the 25th, though. SOOO much schoolwork and the 25th is when my spring break starts.

I've literally made NO progress in the game... HOWEVER the caterpie I took on a stroll leveled up AND somehow beat a pokemon 3 times its own level?
With a level 5 caterpie on the pokewalker I caught a level 15 Wobbuffet.

Huh. Catching and fighting on the pokewalker does not use attack type, level, or effects to benefit or detract from gameplay. Its all just "attack evade catch". So your caterpie could have been level 1 and caught a level 100 arceus for all the pokewalker decides. xD

Yeah, I figured as much once I found out it's level. Now I've caught a Magby and a HootHoot.... something tells me I'm going to be playing with this thing for way longer than heart gold.
I made 100 watts today just from going to and from school.
Intense.

I have free cyndaquil eggs for good homes. I'm looking for a chikorita egg if at all possible. (I can thieve Shoy's totodile again for breeding.)
I can also try and bribe my Elekid into making eggs if anyone wants one of those.
Additionally, I could hand out a ditto if catching one seems impossible to people.
