Takoda smiled, Cael hadnt left for good after all, meaning that, for now at least, she wasnt alone, looking towards the cave as he mentioned bringing her some food. She got to her feet, somewhat slower than she usually would, becuase of her injured foot, but it was already alot better than it had been the previous night "i dont know what it was Cael, but my ankle is feeling so much better" she said, barely limping as she made her way towards the cave, she wasnt really the hungry but she felt it would be impolite to ignore the fact he had gone out of his way to find her some lunch.

She nosed the leaves aside, then turned to Cael, but he had dissapeared again, "oh well, i guess i'm eating alone" she said to herself quietly and started eating what he had left for her, it was surprisingly tasty, so she munched on, forgetting that the cave was pretty chilly now the fire had gone out and no sunlight warmed the cold stone.

Takoda had finished eating and had stepped back out into the sun as Cael returned dragging some more dry wood into the cave, she smiled as he commented on why he hadnt stayed to eat with her "well it was very tasty, thank you Cael" she said politely.

Trying to stifle a giggle at his comments about getting into mischief "but thats what being a colt is about, at least, it is from what i've seen" she said smiling, flexing her leg and ankle again she figured she could put most of her weight back on it, without limping too much "why dont you let me help you find some wood? its the least i can do before i travel on again" she said tilting her head slightly to the side, looking at Cael

Takoda positively beamed, "of course if it hurts i'll stop" she said nodding her agreement, it would mean getting to know him more as well as getting out and do something rather than standing or sitting around and letting Cael do all the work. Looking around she looked for the right wood, but not having ever made a fire before she wasn't sure what kind of wood she was looking for.

After searching for a while she decided to bring back several different kinds of wood, then Cael could pick the right bits, holding her wings out to balance the long sticks and small braches she found on the woodland floor she thought it was pretty easy to carry them, however as the pile on her back got bigger, her wings started to tire and he ankle felt hot and very achey so she decided to head back towards the cave.

Takoda stifled a little squeal as she realised she was slightly lost, not sure which path she had taken to get there, usually it wouldnt bother her and she'd just go where she liked, but she needed to get back to Cael, she shook her head remembering some advice she had gotten in her travels if you find yourself lost, look around your hoofprints will be there most of the time, just follow yourself home she had been told, so she did just that, she looked around on the ground and sure enough there were signs of where she had been treading leading back, following herself back to Cael she hummed a tune.. terribly as she couldnt carry a tune at all.

Takoda smiled, and deposited the sticks and small logs down, "its easier with wings to balance them on" she said, hoping she had gotten enough of the right sort, she flexed her ankle, it was achey but not nearly as painful as the night before "so Cael, how long have you been here?" she asked wondering more about how long he had been alone, travelling was fun, but lonely at times.

"Three moon cycles?" said Takoda nodding, she knew what it was like, she'd been alone for quite a while now, "well, i'm here for now, we'll make the most of it? maybe travel a while together?" she suggested, after all it was safer to travel with a friend when you were hurt

Takoda laughed "okay, okay, one more day" she said nodding, flexing her leg she knew the wisdom of Caels words. She nudged his shoulder "thank you for helping me, i've met many Soquili that would have left me" she commented softly *i must say, company is nice* she thought *being alone isn't always best for the soul, no matter how much freedom i might have* she pondered, before bending her head to nibble the sweet gras by her hooves.

Takoda smiled warmly, it felt nice to be worried about, someone that cared about her feelings and how she was doing. "i guess we should head on back inside?" she asked lightly "in case it rains or something" she limped slightly, more to keep the weight off her ankle, than in pain. She watched as he pulled some low branches down, "oh hey! thats clever" she exclaimed.

She thought for a second at his question "i dont really know, i guess i just go where the wind takes me" she said, fluttering her wings a little to shake out any loose feathers. she turned and nubbled at the base of her right wing "itchy" she explained laughing a little as she realised she looked pretty daft with one leg in the air, her wing half furled and the top of her head poking up from behind it.
