"Yeah lots of events. Some of the DNA donors will even be out - I know her "father", our Phoenix will be." Apoxi commented, showing the pair towards the door.
"You two have fun and we'll call you when things happen, okay?"

The little girl looked up at her new mother, taking her hand and smiling widely as they were directed toward the exit, "So, we're gonna go home now?" she asked while holding the older woman's hand.
Lydia smiled, "Why, yes we are." she assured, happy the girl seemed to have warmed up to her already.
"Of course, thank you so much." Lydia responded, her tone genuine as her and her daughter began to exit.
