Kofuku looked at Faleen with confusion in her eyes, but nodded. "Yeah, your advice for all of this would probably be best if you're awake. And I think I could use some hot coco..." She finished drying her eyes and messed with her hair a bit. "Do I look alright? The last thing I need is to run into someone looking like a mess."

She took a moment to look Kofuku over, reaching up to fix a couple strands of her hair, and clear off her face a bit "you look fine" she said, smiling softly then stood, taking Kofuku's hands to guide her up as well.
Faleen knew she looked a mess, frazzled and tired, but she didn't care. she had stopped pampering her looks a long time ago, not that she was against it. she just had to make an identity for herself here, in her new life before she could worry about her looks again.
"alright, lets go get us some caffeine and sugar and lots and lots of chocolate... I still have that stash we yoinked from the shop."
she walked over to her bedside table, pulling out a large bag of mixed chocolates from her drawer, then plucked up her two pokeball once more.

Giving Faleen an appreciative smile, Kofuku hugged her tightly. "Oh, I knew you were my best friend for a reason. I'm so glad I could talk to you." It was a strange luxury Kofuku never really had, so it was nice to have someone to help her through this incredibly confusing time. She waited for Faleen to get the chocolates and couldn't help but eye them with a smile.

... it never failed to get to Faleen every time Kofuku said that... Faleen never had close friends like this, friends, yes, well... maybe, none that had she trusted,
but Kofuku didn't hide anything from her.
blinking softly, staring at nothing as she returned the hug for that moment, then pulled back with a small smile.
"come on" she said, leading her out as they headed to the cafe.

It had been a long, tiresome day, and there was only one thing to fix it. Coffee. Food also helped. Panther had changed out of unifrom but still wore the grunt hat on his head, nodding off over the fresh steaming warmth within the cup before him. A half eaten hamberger sprawled with mustard and ketchup oozing out the side infront of him. He yawned a bit, doing his best to stay awake for long enough to finish and tottle off to bed.

Kofuku followed behind Faleen, sighing heavily. "What have I gotten myself into, Faleen?" She played with a strand of hair, going off into a daydream about Panther. As they got to the cafe, she opened the door and stopped, seeing that her daydreams were getting worse and she was seeing him actually sitting at a table there.
It took her a few second to realize that that was actually him, and her eyes got wide. Quickly turning around, she tried to lead Faleen out. "You know, coffee is really bad for you..." Oh god she was not ready to see him, not in this state.

Faleen was happy to get there. yessss Coffee, something to help wake her up. she was sooo tir- "wha-!?" she was once again pulled away from something she needed.
but while she was tumbling and stumbling backwards while Kofuku tugged on her, she caught the sight of the very person they had been talking about earlier.
"h hey!" she yelped once they were out, turning to face Kofuku, blinking
"he's in there" she said quietly, surprised. what... and odd coincidence.

He heard voices behind him, at the door. He thought he reconized them. In HQ, it wasn't uncommon to reconize voices, so he stayed inmomble for a few seconds longer. then he relized who's voice one of them was and he turned to spot two girls at the door. One was Kufuku, and the other was, somone who's name he didn't recall. Where had he seen her, oh yeah, it was here a few weeks ago. He smiled at her to, just to throw her off and then turned back to his coffee, to take a sip.

"I can't go in there, what if he sees me. What if he talks to me? I'm not ready to talk to him, I look like a disaster, I just know it, and what if I slip up and say something stupid like 'I have a bad crush on you' or something even worse-" Kofuku's hissed and urgent whispers came tumbling from her mouth as the panic she'd displayed back in Faleen's room began to rear it's ugly head again.

Faleen tried to gather the situation back up into her controle, fighting against Kofuku's pull, her eyes going wide as she watched her friend starting to melt down again.
turning she grabbed Kofuku by her shoulder and pushed her back firmly untill she was pushing her friend against the wall, saying very harshly in an attempt to snap her friend out of it.
"Kofuku!" jerking her head to the side, trying to grab her gaze with her own eyes, squeezing her shoulders.
"Listen to me! there's no point in hiding away!"

Agent Panther looked up from his coffee and saw they were gone. He shruged and then went back to his food figuring they had simply left. What a strange girl that was, fun, but strange.

Kofuku winced a little when her head was jerked and stared at her best friend, having not expected that. Slowly, she nodded. "Yeah, you're right...." Wriggling out of her friend's grasp, she took a deep breath and smoothed down her shirt. "I need to be calm.... I mean, I like him, but Rockets don't show their weaknesses... even if they do have amazing, green eyes and can make you melt at a kiss..." She thought back to that forest and wished silently she hadn't been in so much shock enough to have enjoyed it, then shook her head. "Coffee, we need coffee and maybe some vodka or something."
Grabbing Faleen's arm, she puffed out her chest and strode in confidently again, pulling her shades off from the top of her head and putting them on; no one needed to see her blood-shot eyes.

Relaxing when Kofuku seemed to snap out of it. smiling a little, though it was awkwardly as she heard what her friend was saying... did she seriously kiss him?
putting that... less then pleasant image to the back of her mind, she helped be Kofuku's support, and started back into the cafe.
it was easy for her, he either accepted her feelings, or Faleen help Kofuku construct the mother of all pranks. extra humiliating!

Panther was nearly done, having finished his berger in the time it took for Kofuku to calm down. He took one last swig of his coffee, and drained the bottom, feeling slightly better. Almost revived. He set the cup down and got up, picking up his trash.

Paying more attention to Faleen and trying to keep her mind straight than where she was going, Kofuku was unaware of Panther's chair being pushed out until her foot found itself caught on the leg and and she tripped. Landing flat on her face, she gave a muffled 'owwww' but didn't move.
'Rock freakin bottom... you've hit rock freakin bottom, Kofuku. Might as well stay down, there's no dignity to recover in getting back up.' She sighed, feeling like a total idiot. 'God, what am I, 12? I should be over boys. I'm 23 and I haven't dated for several good reasons, why should I be starting now?'
