I am sure she does. But that creature would probably never admit it. She's that stubborn. Just like me. She gave a crooked grin, then listened intently as he spoke about his pack a bit, and she couldn't help but feel a longing as he spoke. Even with his problems, it must still have been interesting to live in a pack. Marrying someone you don't know? Why would you want to do that? Isn't marriage and family for those that love each other? It was a concept she had never understood, but she had never found anyone to be attracted too. Well, She had never found anyone period really. Oh, there's a watering hole just over here. I'll show you.
Finishing up her meal, she licked her chops clean, and scrambled down the tree-limb, trotting off into the forest again. She roamed around trees, hopped bushes, and swatted at passing bugs, until finally she came to several rocks. Running to gain momentum, she raced up the rock, bouncing from one stone to another until she reached the top of the largest one. In the center of the stone was a large pool of water that had collected from the last rain. It's not always here, but with that last storm we had, I was pretty sure it had filled up, and it almost always tastes good. Leaning down, she started to lap at the cold water.

~Trovin watches her " sometimes it is good be stubborn, sometimes it is a bad thing." At her question he thinks on how to explain it~ " My father wants me to do that, the wife he picked out for is stong and beautful so, I'm told she is also the other's pack's leader. Yes well that is what I was rised to beleive, then I found out that my pack picks mates by which will produce the best offspring. My parents are different they are together and had me and my sister because they love eachother my father is plushing me because the pack is demaning it of him." He looks at her and smiles " thanks."
He watches her lick her paws then scramble down, he follows suit and runs after her as she roamed around trees and hopped over bushes. Stopping beside her he looks at the pool, " thanks." He watches toward the water and then learns his head down to get a drink~

After taking her own drink, she sits back, watching him for a moment as he laps at the water, and turns to look at the forest around her. Closing her eyes, she takes a deep breath, taking in the scent of pine and other trees, as well as the scent of water, and the hint of desert breeze that managed to waft this deep into the forest. She couldn't imagine being anywhere else. This was her home. She couldn't even think on what it would be like to leave it. The breeze gently moved her fur, and on it she could smell greenery and life. This was what living was all about. Avara is as still as a statue for several heartbeats, before opening her clover eyes and looks around.

~Trovin finshes his drink and looks around he then looks at Avara as she closes her eyes. Smiles and closes his, this was a beauful place, it was way different from the mountains he came from, it a lot of green and not ash the ground was soft not rocky. He thinks of his family ' yes he missed his parents and sister. but he didn't miss the mistreatment of his pack. He didn't want to have to return, but in heart he knew that the peace he found wouldn't last, someone would come looking for him and he didn't want to drag Avara into the middle of it. But it liked hanging out with her and hoped that they would become friends. Opening his eyes he looks down at his crystal dagger. then at Avara watching her open her eyes~ " Avara have you never wondered what to do next?"

She looked over at Trovin, surprised by his question. Why... no actually. She looked back out into the forest. I live each day here in the forest. I hunt, I sometimes fish. I chase bugs like a pup. I fight for my life sometimes, and bored out of my mind others. I get romp in the snow for winter, and I find shade in the summer. i live day by day, and enjoy each one as much as I can, for I am alive to enjoy it. She looked at him, her green eyes registering confusion. Why do you ask?

~Trovin watches her surpise, then listens to her talk about how she lived her life, it sounded like heaven he could stay here and start over and not worry about his parents and his sister~ " This place sounds so good your home is very beautful." ~ At her confusion he decides to tell the whole truth about how he wanted to stay~ Because I know that I will miss my parents and I will want to go back but I can't. my home is brown with a little green there are mountains everywhere so there is no where that I can fly. There is a beautful crystal lake in the middle of all these mountains. I just wonder if I made the right choice by runing away."

I love it here, even though you have to learn to respect the moods of the forest, or it will kill you. But the scenery is well worth a bit of caution. Avara cocked her head, thinking as she watched him, before looking out over the trees. I would suggest spending a few days here. Just relax and breath. Maybe things will make more sense to you after you've spent some time away from your home and your family. If you find you cannot stay away, maybe all you needed was some time away. She turned to him, her clover-green eyes sparkling with mirth as she winked at him. And if you decide to stay, there's always room for a few more here in the forest. And we're happy to have you.

Trovin listens to her~ " I will repect the moods of the forest, if you would be willling to teach me, the moods?" ~ He watches her and looks over the the trees, he eyes his eyes and thinks about these woods, yes he could call this place home, opening his eyes he listens to her~ " I will concide what you said carefully." ~ He smiles at her as she winks~ " thank you, that makes me happy to know that I am welcome here, and not seen by my title like when I'm back home, thank you for beening friendly to me Avara." ~ Watches the moon rise above them and blinks~ " Would you happen to know where a clearing is, that gets the most moonlight, my dagger you see requires the moons light every month as their is a spite living with in it."

She blinked. Friend? She could get to like that. The word sounded strange, but it also sounded pleasant. I could get used to that. She thought, before she became distracted. A sprite? Really? Can I see? What's a sprite? She leaned down to get a closer look at the dagger on his chest, before looking around and thinking. Hmm. Well, we are not that far from the desert. If you're looking for moonlight, that would be the best bet to find it. There are some clearings, but they do not have the moon for long. The trees always block it before long. She had to think. When had the sun set? She had apparently been keeping herself really distracted.

~Trovin nods~ " Yes, a sprite is a companion or guilde that watches over and protects the pack member it is given too. They are like tiny little two legged bugs with round heads, skinny front legs and long back, they can pick things up with their front legs and carrie in their paw, they only have hair on their heads and were leaves or fur on their bodies with also glow and give off light that helps us heal faster. My sprite feeds on moonlight if she isn't fed she dieds and I will never find my way back home, my parents will disown me. Should you show me the way to desert, You are welcome to come with me if you want?" As she gets closer she can see a small shadow of two-legged thing inside the dagger~

Avara wished she could see it better, but she rose back to standing, and nodded. Sure. Come along. She headed for the side of the rock, where it looked like some of the water cascaded off when the pool was too full, and started to slip down the smoothed surface, pulling her paws out to turn her. As she slid half-way down the rock, she gathered her four paws under her and lept, hitting the ground and rolling. She ended up on her feet at the end of the roll, and headed at a fast run towards the edge of the forest, knowing that he could easily keep up with her pace.

~Trovin watches her then opening his wings he foats down behide her and then as soon as his feet hit the ground he is out behide her, tucking his wings beside his body. As he ran he thought of what Avara said and still hoped that she would be his friend, he also hoped that she didn't mind that he kepted asking her where to go and asking her to show him the way. Also the more he spent with her the more he liked this place that he had come too. He stands at her back with her easy pace enjoying the wind and sniffing as he gos to get a idea of how to get back*

She lived in the range of forest before it got too thick and too much of a jungle, so that it was easy to run, and to move. That also meant she was close to the desert. Sometimes, during the winter, she would come to the desert sands to warm herself, before dissapearing into the woods to hide in the humidity to keep from getting too cold. She had made this trek many times as she had grown up, and didn't think anything of it to take someone else on the path that she had taken.
She kept her ears alert as she moved, watching the trees for the movement of birds, to see if there was anything else around that could frighten them. If the birds were calm, there was nothing to worry about. And they were mostly calm, save for being slightly agitated by the passage of the two Shakaiyo below them. She loped easily through the grasses that were replacing the trees, and the trees became more and more sparse, until finally, the desert loomed before them. She slowed her pace, and stopped at there the grasses grew dry, and in the moonlit shade of the last tree that could be seen for miles before them.
The sand had always fascinated her. The wind carved the dunes to have sharp edges, and curves like snakes across the face of them. The shadows were almost always blue, and they were enhanced by the silver glow of the moon. There were a million stars dotting the sky, and she looked up at them, pulling old story characters from the constellations, and grinning as she remembered their tales. Some were brave, some were bold, some were merely strange. She wondered if he knew what the stories were, or if he had some of his own that he was told by his family about the stars.

Trovin looks around as he runs, in truth he was used to flying more then running. However he did love beening about to see all the green and brown of the forest, see the little animal run for cover as he ran, this place was very different from the place he came off, the soft earth, the green and the fresh water. He was glad that he didn't have to fly everywhere like he did back home.
Watching Avara watch the trees he watches the ground for movement. He loped easily beside her feeling the grasses tickle his feet. He watches the trees become more and more sparse, seeing the desert loomed before them he blinks it was different also from his homeland. Slowing to a pace beside her, he looks at the dryed grass and the open sky he smiles then walks past.
Walking a couple of feet in the sand he smiles back at Avara " This place is purfect." He walks a couple more feet and takes his dagger off, placing with the butt of it down and tip up he then slowly backs up so just the dagger is where as he watches the light touch it. As the sprite feeds the dagger starts to glow brighter and the shape of the spite becomes more visable to the eyes as it glows against the walls of the dagger.

Avara sits at the edge of the grass and watched, facinated by what she was seeing. It was most certainly not moonlight that lit the dagger now, and she was able to see better inside. The little creature was interesting to see, but she couldn't see it long because of the intense glow it was putting out. it was incredibly lovely, and she rather wished she had a dagger that shimmered like that. Though, maybe not with the creature inside. That would be rather weird.
After a minute or so, she lifted her face to the moonlight. the moon was waning, and soon there would be the black night, where there was no moon in the sky, and that brought a question she wanted to ask to mind. Does the sprite need to um... 'eat' the moonlight every night, or can it go a few days without it.
