Tohru Honda

As she walked home from a long day at school, she decided to buy some groceries. While at the store, she recognized the girl she had met near the Sohma property. "Excuse me," she said," I'm Tohru. We've met before. I was just wondering... what's your name?" The girl looked surprised, but answered," I'm Kagura," and smiled a huge smile at her. They started talking, and became instant friends.

Kagura Sohma

As she walked home from the store, she and Tohru continued to talk, since they went the same direction to go home. She arrived at Sohma house and went inside. "Bye Tohru," she said.

Tohru Honda

Tohru smiled as Kagura went inside. It's great I made a new friend today, she thought to herself as she looked up and down the street to check for any cars coming by. When she looked to her right, she noticed a cute little girl looking at her. Aww, how adorable! But she looks lost. I'll ask if I can help. She went up to the girl asking," Hello. I was just wondering... are you lost?" She didn't respond. Oh no... she must think I'm a wierdo, just going up to her and asking a silly question like that. "I'm sorry.. I just... I'm sorry. You don't have to answer..."

Kagura Sohma

She went inside, expecting Kisa to be waiting for her. She put down her bags and went back out, surprised to see Tohru trying to talk to Kisa. "Tohru. Hi," she said," That's Kisa Sohma. She doesn't really talk that much. Sorry if she worried you."

"Kisa. Where have you been. You know how much I worry when you're gone," she said. "Why have you stopped talking? Please tell me. Kisa, I'm getting tired of this." she said, not noticing how much Kisa looked hurt by those questions. "Why are those kids bullying you?"

Tohru Honda

"Maybe she was just worried. She was worried that you'd think she was weak. She was worried that the person she loved most of all would stop loving her. I was bullied before too. I didn't tell my mom, but she found out. A few days later, the bullying stopped. But my mom's love didn't," she said, spacing out a bit in flashbacks.

Tohru Honda

She smiled as she watched the little girl crying. She didn't know how, but she knew that many of the stresses she had were leaving. "It's okay," she said," I'm Tohru." She smiled at her, noticing how surprised the girl looked.

Kagura Sohma

Kagura watched, surprised that Kisa would attach herself to a stranger's leg. She wasn't the kind of person to do that, or at least she thought she wasn't. She smiled, noticing how happy,and sad, Kisa seemed to be. She knew that Kisa would start talking again very soon. She looked over to Kisa's mother, who seemed happy too. Everyone seemed happy at that moment.

Kagura Sohma

Seeing the look on Kisa's face, she knew what she wanted. "Auntie? Can Kisa stay over at Tohru's place for today?" She nodded, but still looked tense. Looking over at Tohru she asked," Will you let Kisa go home with you? Just for today. It'll make her happy." "Sure," said Tohru," I'll take good care of her." Kisa's mother seemed reassured by those words.

Akito Sohma

She opened the door. "What do you want, Sabaku?" she asked. She didn't like to be disturbed.

Tohru Honda

"Come on Kisa," she said, offering her hand to her. They walked home together. They arrived at Tohru's house. "Grandpa, I'm home. Someone's gonna stay for the night," she called into the house. Grandpa came out, seeing the little girl holding onto Tohru. "Well hello," he said. She didn't respond. She stayed by Tohru's side the rest of the day. Tohru talked to her about the hardships she'd faced as a kid, how her mom helped, how everything turned out fine. Though Kisa never talked, she kept saying words of encouragement.

Tohru Honda

"Yes of course," she said. Walking to the kitchen with Kisa following closely behind. She got some water and handed it to Kisa," Here you go. Do you wanna help me make dinner?" Kisa nodded. They made soup, which tasted great. "So Tohru, what's her name?" her grandpa asked. "Kisa," she said, "she's very helpful. She helped me make dinner." She smiled. After dinner, Grandpa went to bed. As Tohru and Kisa walked to the lining room, Tohru stopped walking, causing Kisa to bump into her. "Ohhh, you are so adorable!!!" she said, hugging Kisa.

"I was reading- until you bothered me. I know you want something. People don't come here unless they want something," she said. She looked out the window, "Where's Kagura. I've seen her talking to someone. Go get her."
