If the other two had any hope of this senshi being a serious one, it was quickly dashed when it became apparent that the boy was staring in fascination at the youma corpse as it turned into dust. He even ventured a blue boot towards the not-yet dusted corpse, jumping back in surprise as the mere touch made part of it burst into a puff of smoke. "Whoah."
It wasn't until the youma corpse had completely disappeared that the boy looked at them with a bit of a sheepish grin. "Um, if it's not too much trouble... Do you think you two could show me the ropes? This is the first time I saw one of those things do that." He then looked at where the youma was, a wince crossing his face, "The ones I punched before didn't do that. They just... stopped moving. I thought that was it."

While Atlas held his breath, Alcyone was careful to take small and widely-spaced sips of air until the youma bursted into ash. The transformation reminded the brunette of a ceremonial funeral, where ones ashes are scattered in the lands that they'd written for and their spirit is said to be at peace without a physical body to tether itself in limbo. In a small way, she hoped that perhaps whatever tainted creature they had fought was able to find that piece of nirvana.
Even if the process was violent and messy.
Her shoulders relaxed as she drew in a deep breath of air, careful to look away from the drifting dust particles. It certainly smelled better than before, and it was a relief to know that the danger had lulled for the time being. At Atlas's remark, Alcyone couldn't help but smile and playfully bump his side with her hip. "Well, most of the time, anyway. It does have its perks from time to time....like making a positive influence in society! ....even if society deems you an enemy. I like the heights myself."
She was, of course, referring to the inhuman ability to jump like a flea.
All joking aside, however, her smile managed to falter at Merope's request. She wasn't sure if the two of them would be the best people to show a newcomer how the life of a sailor soldier worked, considering that they were still trying to figure that out themselves.
"Um..." She mumbled, unsure of what to say. "Well...Why not? Things generally work better in groups, don't they? What do you think, Atlas?"
At the very least, they could help each other stay safe while they learned together.
