James, on the other hand, took his case and stepped to the left... circling around to the side of the robots, while staying just within range to catch the things that they were saying. He didn't want to be near those chalk circles if... well... the thing that chalk circles normally do when involved with spirits and curses.

He also didn't want to be between the few suspicious people by the door and the two big bots.

Huh... I thought robots couldn't tell lies. This thought behind him, Rage released his grip on the pack, reaching down slowly and deliberately to pick up the case he figured was designated for him. He now held this in his right hand, although it was turned slightly to the side... obscuring the view of his other hand. He took exactly one step back on his right leg, making sure to keep it straight....

Gramps and that girl gotta know everything, don't they, he thought as his left hand slowly gripped the cloth-wrapped hilt of his first katana.

Moving towards the cases he took the case which was to be his. Compensation at last, the Ordo could refurbish his armour and pay for the construction of a new base. Holding the case in his left hand he moved back towards where he stood an equal distance between the two nearest individuals. His grip tighten around the handle. This would be the deciding moment of whether or not things went smoothly or not.

"Thank you," A said gently. For a robot, anyway.

Stepping forward, the two robots each took a core in either hand. As they did so, all of the curses were lifted. Turning to face each other, they walked forward, and collided.

Sparks flew. Electricity arced off away from their metal bodies, and the cores they held in their hand, sending shadows dancing across the room. They were melting down, quite inexplicity, into their basic components.

They were merging with each other... and the cores.

"So that explains the secrecy." Fischig was backing away from what had happened. "Well folks, I think it may be best if we enter into a truce of sorts. Our lives just may depend upon it." He wished he still had the bag that had stored the core but there was no use going for it now, instead he used one of the clasps of his belt to attach the case so it hanged along his side.

Suddenly the curse lifted.

The curse, of course, had been complete sensory deprivation beyond a certain point, and now that it was gone, everything suddenly came rushing back. The entire interior of the warehouse revealed itself, all of the other 'finalists' to the other side of the robots, and the sparks flying between those two robots who were fusing in hot, passionate, robot sex...

...now that was a creepy thought.

"Wow. This actually makes me feel stupid for NOT saying what I was thinking," sighed Rage, hitching his own briefcase to his jeans... just after he finished stuffing as much money as he could into every available pocket in his jeans and his jacket. A moment later, the curse on his body was lifted... and he seemed to make this obvious with a sickeningly evil laugh. A moment later he shook his head vigorously. "Where'd that come from...? Jeez. Now I know what happens when I don't get in a good fight now and then...."

He grinned wickedly at the now-reforming robot. "A truce... aww what the hell. Just keep in mind that if any of you kill me... I'll kill you right back."

"<********> gentiles!" Matthias cursed, immediately backpedalling away from the fusing machines. His right ring finger flicked off the breifcase handle and hit the last digit on the code on his case, But it still did not open. Instead, Matthias muttered something in yiddish under his breath, but nothing could visably be seen to change. He then set the case with the gold down and entered another code on his own breifcase, causing it to open. A large sidearm to fall into his free hand.

It was certainly unusual to look at. Large, bulky, seemingly unweildly and covered with unrecognisable parts. If anything, it almost looked like a steampunk version of a Bolt Pistol from the Warhammer 40k games. Matthias gripped a small lever on it's side and pulled it back, causing a small blast of steam out of vents on either side. Then, before the machines could fully integrate with eachother, he aimed carefully and fired three shots into their components.

"I'm inclined to agree gentleman. The money is worthless if we're all dead."

As Matthias' bullets colided with the robots' melding bodies, they underwent a sudden transformation.

It now stood about eight feet tall, and was about four feet wide. It was entirely metallic, composed of tiny nanobots- Fischig would probably recognize this design trait from Macro 3. It's form was difficult to make out, as its surface was constantly rippling, but it looked somewhat like a jagged humanoid with claws for hands or feet.

Unlike Macro 3, a face soon emerged from its head area. Less a face and more a mask, actually: a metal mask with two glowing red eyes. Rage and Matthias might have recognized the face as once belonging to CR32-B.

"Greetings, humans," greeted the metallic voice. "Please, do not resort to violence." As it said this, it sprayed several pieces- all damaged by Matthias' attack- harmlessly off to the side, where they collected into a little pile.

"Violence is never the answer." With this final comment, it charged several feet forward, before its arm extended into a blade for Matthias' throat, mass diverting from other parts of its body to allow for this extension.

"As a rule of thumb I'd be more inclined-" James grunted as he hobbled back a few steps when the firing began, the strain on his right leg causing it to bleed a bit more into the already bloodsoaked bandage underneath, "...inclined to not be the first one to piss it off."

That thought out there, he pushed his hands upon his thighs, trying to straighten up his position a bit. He set the briefcase down beside him without a thought... the money wasn't important here, it was pocketchange compared to the pettycash CI furnished him with. Not that he wouldn't gladly take it... but priorities, priorities.

Instead, James turned as best he could, scanning the entirity of the room for something... anything, really, other than tall walls and high ceilings.

((...and I now realize that your previous post was not your actual action post. Oh well, we'll just say this happened before my last post, and you get another one this round. xp ))

Fischig nodded as the others seemed to consent to the idea. "We destroyed lesser beasts and they paid us to bring them together. Now they want to recoup their loses." As the new construct moved he rushed away from it, keeping his sword shieved he reached isntead for the flamer and primed it. It would do no good as Matthias was too close and honoured said not to waste him. Seeing himself at a disavantaged he looked along the building, looking for anything he could tear lose.

((We are in a ware house which would mean something like rafters up above, but it's never said in the first post. I'd like a confirmation on whether they are there or not.))

((I hereby confirm the existence of rafters. But they are quite high up (think three stories).))
