Juliet smiled slightly as the people before her moved over and she took a step forward.
"Oh good," she said simply as she made her way to the bus's door, "Then I suppose I'll see you in third hour then~!"
And with that they were off the bus and Juliet was traipsing towards the school and a quickened pace. She looked before herself for a second thought and waved before disappearing into the bustling crowd as they slipping into the building.

Dmitri ran along after her for a few seconds after they got off of the bus before saying goodbye. She had disappeared easily into the crowd so he stood there for a moment, looking around. He then scuttled off into the school. He glanced around as he walked, avoiding running into the other students before he finally heard a familiar voice.
"Dmitri!" someone called. Dmitri turned around to see his friend approaching. He waved with a slight smile.
"Hello, Aaron," he greeted as they began to walk off towards their first class.

The minutes within the hour passed like seconds as the lead of her pencil scratched across the cheap milky yellow paper. Apparently she felt like doing work, she noted to herself before pulling out her watch and checking the time. Nope, it wasn't time to leave yet.
She gave a sigh before delving back into her work. Math was too easy for her. She needed something more challenging. She finished up the last problem before pulling out her schedule and scanning her to do list. She had practice after school... She should probably just walk from school. There were some back streets that made their way to the poor, broken down looking building on fifth street.
She tapped her pencil twice before sit all the way up and stretching. She needed more friends. None in this class... just a nice little collection of people that gave glances when they thought she wasn't looking. None of them were unkind so maybe she should have been grateful but she felt like a normal teen would have more than that.
She pushed herself from the table and gathered her things before walking to the teacher's desk. "Pardon me, I know class is almost over but may I go talk to my science teacher? I need some help on the subject. I finished my work." She started to pull out the sheet but the teacher simply waved her on.
"Go ahead," said the man with a smile before going back to his work. Juliet really did like her math teacher. He was so kind.
(That's Damian... cause I don't know his last name.)

((Mr. Aidan.))
Dmitri sat in his English class, staring blankly at the book in his hands. His upper body was laying across the desk and his arms were outstretched beyond the desk. His eyes were half closed in boredom. He had been on the same page for the past ten minutes. He couldn't concentrate on it. Not that it wasn't interesting or anything. Mr. Hale always picked out oddly interesting books. And he did mean odd. Mr. Hale was rather odd himself, but Dmitri didn't mind. It made the class more interesting.
He felt something light hit the side of his face. It tumbled down onto his desk and, without turning his head, he glanced at it. It was a crumpled up ball of paper. He heard a bit of snickering come from the seats next to him, so he just went back to looking at his book. He found that it only fueled the boy's entertainment when he looked at them.
Another something hit him and, he guessed, got caught in his hair for an even louder burst of laughter rang out.
"Knock it off," came the teacher's voice. He was sitting at his desk with a book in hand. His eyes were peering over the top of the book at the boys with a rather serious, slightly irritated look, which was unusual for him.
The boy's quieted down and went back to 'reading'. Dmitri's hands drooped farther off his desk. He went through his hair with one hand and found another piece of paper. He cringed when he realized that it was damp. He flicked it away before patting his hair down and grabbing his book again. He'd have to get some work done....otherwise this would be homework. And he had track after school so he wouldn't feel like doing it then....

"Bye Mr.Aiden," she called as she slipped from the room and headed down the hallway. Unknown to her, she walked past Dmitri's room and down the small hallway that was next to it.
She made a little tip-tip noise as she walked down to the science room and turned into the open room. She walked over to her desk and plopped her things down. She was lucky that her teacher had a free hour for the second period of the day.
"Morning, I was wondering if I could have some help with the homework? I'm brilliant at math but I can't seem to get this down in my head."
Miss Koffman smiled as she took the sheet that Juliet had been holding out for her. Her lips pulled into a smile as her eyes scanned over the paper.
"Having issues with the steps of DNA replication? I don't blame you. RNA, mRNA, tRNA. It all sounded the same to me when I first started. Here, pull up the rolly chair from my desk and I'll walk you through it again."
Juliet smiled before doing as she was told and joining her teacher behind the large desk.
.: Ha, Dmitri could follow her. XD seeing as I know our track has to jog around town and back to the school. :.

((Haha, that's what I was thinking XD It would be like 'Hey, go run over town cause we live in a small town. I don't care where, just be back by this time.' And Dmitri doesn't make it back or something.))
Dmitri was, reluctantly, standing in front of the class with another kid from his class. They were having a discussion in front of the class of their thoughts on the stories they read.
"I deedn't really sink zhat zhey vere going to go...." Dmitri was saying when Juliet walked by the doorway. He happened to be looking over at the door as she did so. Unfortunately, it broke up his train of thought. He was silent for a long moment as his eyes lingered on the open doorway. The other kid standing with him stared at him.
"You didn't sink that they vould vhat?" he mocked.
Dmitri turned suddenly, his thoughts returning, albeit a bit slowly. "Um...I....I deedn't sink.....um...vhen zhey vent...um...you know...vhen zhey left and...ran....vith...zhe...volves?"
"Alright Mr. Bershadenksy," the teacher said, standing up with a slight smile. "I think it's time we move on. Thank you. You can both take your seats."
------
Not long after, though far too long for Dmitri's tastes, the bell rang, releasing them to their next class. Dmitri stood quickly and grabbed his bag, leaving the classroom as quickly as possible. He ran out of the class and into his science class quickly, ignoring any people in the hall. He paused in the doorway before finding his seat and sitting down without a word. He set his backpack down next to him and stared down at his desk rather intently as if he were studying the various scratches in its surface.

"Thank you~!" Juliet said warmly before taking her paper and walking over to her desk. She almost didn't see Dmitri. Had he not been staring so intently at the table she would never had thought it weird and looked up to see him.
"Ah, hello there." she said with a smile as she sat in her chair and turned around to face him. He always seemed to be behind her.
"So we do indeed have a class together."

(("He always seemed to be behind her." Well then..../that's/ why he got stuck....))
Dmitri looked up quickly at the sound of Juliet's voice. A small smile appeared on his face. "Yes," he replied. "I suppose I don't talk enough to draw your attention here. Eh...science eesn't my greatest subject."
He gave another smile and shoved his hands down in his lap. He forced himself to sit up straighter. He was already short enough, he didn't need to slouch and make himself shorter.

Juliet giggled slightly, leaning a little bit closer. "Here's the thing," she said as she intruded his personal bubble and whispered into his ear, "It's not mine either." She sat back, her smile still present, and crossed her arms upon the back on her seat and looked at him.
"But everyone has their faults. I had to come in here early to get some help on what we're learning. DNA replication from RNA is.... it's just stupid... not really but... it's so hard for me to understand. If it were just numbers then I'd get it. Numbers make sense to me. I bet you it's because Biology is about life and I don't get life one bit." She laughed slightly once more, perhaps just to herself this time.
.: Haha, I was thinking something similar but not like that. XD :.

Dmitri's face grew hot when Juliet got so close. He held himself back from backing away from her as he watched her. Man he needed to get more used to social situations. It was all mind over matter, right?
He smiled, more naturally looking than he had thought he would have. "I just....don't understand much of eet. I don't know...maybe I'm just stupeed or somezing but I don't get eet. No matter how many times they go over eet. I do alright in math and even English, of all sings, but not in science."
He shrugged, slowly taking his hands back up and placing them on top of the desk. He heard some whispers from beside them and he glanced over. One of the kids that sat next to him had leaned over and was whispering to another. He stared for a moment before looking back to Juliet. He wondered if they were talking about them.

"You're not stupid! If you learned English then you aren't stupid. It's a hard language you know... well of course you know but eh... you get what I was saying.... Anyway... yhea. Hard class."
Stupid, she scolded herself. That was brilliant of you, just go and say something like that.
"Oh je! Heh.... I feel like a fool now. Hm, so you're good in English? I had trouble in that class when I was way younger."

"I had trouble vis English vhen I first got here," Dmitri replied. "A lot of trouble, actually. I failed my first English class. I couldn't even make it srough our first book. I got so frustrated trying to read it. I hated it."
It was quite true, more than he would want to admit. He had been on the verge of tears attempting to read English and learn to speak in grammatically correct. He had worked incredibly hard to learn it, just like how he was now working hard to run fast. There were probably other things he should work on other than running, but it was his current goal.
"But I got zhe hang of it after zhat year. For zhe most part, at least. I still haff trouble vis some sings but I'm much better at eet now."

"I have trouble with certain words. I-" A blaring bell cut her off as the last few students ducked into the classroom. Class was starting and the teacher had already opened her book to start class.
"Oh,.." said Juliet rather absentmindedly as she turned back around in her seat and grabbed her book. There went their conversation.

Dmitri looked up at the teacher, somewhat forlornly as she started the class. He was finally getting a chance to talk to someone other than his very small group of friends. And it was Juliet, of all people. He sighed and slouched in his seat again. Damn school....
The class went by as usual, as did the rest of the day. The final bell rang and Dmitri headed right outside. A group of boys, most of them quite a bit taller and stronger than Dmitri, had gathered in front of the school. They were stretching and Dmitri joined them.
The track coach came up shortly and looked over the group. "Today's a free run," he announced. "I don't care where you go as long as you're running. Be back here by four thirty."
Dmitri was somewhat glad. He preferred free runs. He liked the change in scenery rather than the repeated laps around the same track field over and over and over again.

Juliet left almost immediately from school. On days like this she always did her work on class and left her things in her locker. There was nothing fun about carrying her school books into dance class.
She hopped down the steps of the west entrance to the school and scurried over the blacktop until she came upon the walkway that headed to the main road. Wires hung from her ears as the ear buds were pressed in and played her dance music. She hummed slightly as she walked down to the street and then up along the side towards the dance studio she went to.
She was currently practicing for a show she was to participate in. She had worked hard for it and loved dancing. If she didn't do her best, and her best having to be much higher than above average, she was to be kicked out of the school. They only accepted the best and if she wasn't one of them they'd kick her out without even the smallest notice.
