Crystal Predator

Meeting with Leviathan: Part One

Tireu was so very surprised that the claw that he had gotten has turned into a kid, as that was something very new to thim as he knew how kid came about back home but this was just so different to him and he sorta freaked out about it. But after he got use to it and got Arlen all settled into one of the rooms in the house. He didn't have any regrets that his treasure turned into a kid and thought it would be fun to raise one and give the kid a better childhood than he did.

It was a very nice day and Tireu thought it would be a good day to go to the beach and get some fun, tho Tireu wouldn't get in the water as he didn't like water all that much, but Arlen was excited to go out and explore new things and maybe get to nom a few people as long as they didn't run away from him in fear. Both of them walked onto the beach with Tireu carrying all of the stuff and once finding a nice spot setting down a large beach blanket. "Now you go and have some fun but don't stray too far Arlen," Tireu said as he sat down on the blanket. "Ok I won't," Arlen replied as he ran off to look at things.

It was the color that drew Leviathan's attention to begin with, he'd surfaced from the ocean that he'd been swimming about in though just to the point where his eyes were above the water. He peeked from side to side and then blinked. What have we here? The first thought to come to mind as he saw the pretty creature who was instantly liked due to that color. Leviathan himself as well as the ocean he loved were blue as well so this new creature was instantly given points for that alone. He ducked back under the water, sinking down to the ocean floor, and swam along closer to the shore so that he could get a better look at the new comer. He didn't often interact with guys since in mind everyone was filed under the categories of 'princess', 'knight', 'false princess', 'peasant', and 'Roll' who got his own category as he was the guardian and as such someone Levi liked regardless of what he was.

And Roll himself was currently laying on his surf board at the edge of the water, feet in it, arms crossed behind his head as he soaked up the sun. The lazy man appeared to be asleep though really he was just resting his eyes, enjoying the sounds and smells of the beach and the wind coming in off the water. This place was his utopia and as such where he was the most comfortable.

Arlen thought that the beach was fun but a little boring as he knew his guardian was just going to lye there soaking up the sun until hunger set in, but Arlen wanted to play and thought the water looked cool enough. So he wandered near the waves and played in those of a little bit as then he saw some rocks that he could get onto as he wanted to see what was in the water and if there was something he could play with. Arlen got excited when he found a tidal pool with lots of interesting creatures in there and poked a few of them. He did wonder if there were more like these things in the larger water. So he jumped from rock to rock as soon as he got close enough to the water he squatted down to get a better look into the water.

Levi gave a bit of a grin as the one he was stalking seemed to be coming to him. This was going to prove to make life so much easier which, he'd learned from Roll, was a wonderful thing. While the dragon child wasn't nearly as lazy as the blond man he still could appreciate his prey coming in closer so that he would be able to pounce more easily. The serpent shifted him, gathering up his many coils to himself and let them settled to the bottom of the water under him so he could bunch up and readying himself... then with a rather dramatic roar, because those were call for in this situation for a dragon, he came up out of the water to pounce the shiny blue creature.

Arlen's eyes got very big when he saw that there was something coming out of the water fast and roared. Which startled Arlen as he tried to back away as he was crouched but only manged to sip on the rock and fell backwards as the other pounced him and he meeped. "Don't eat me I taste back,"

Leviathan looked rather startled as the one that he had pounced on spoke. That was unexpected... he tilted his head to one side and then grinned a toothy grin that showed off many sharp teeth. The end of his tail swished a bit before he lifted up a bit, gazing down at the one he was laying on and then laughed, "Naw, dragons only eat princess and knights you know." As well as the food at an all you can eat buffet but that didn't sound nearly cool enough so he left that part out, "Are you either of those?"

Arlen was tried hard not to show how scared that he had been as he opened his eyes to see that it was someone that sorta looked like him or at least was blue colored. Arlen sheepishly grin showing off a few of his teeth but didn't know what to think as he did want to nibble the other to see what he tasted like. "Oh," thinking for a second as he tryed to think about what was asked. "No, I'm a raptor," he answered as he would have shown the other his claws but being on top of them and Arlen didn't want to hurt the other either so stayed still.

Leviathan seemed to think that over, looking for a moment thoughtful then shook his head, "Dragons don't eat those." He said, as though finally deciding upon that information. Mostly because he couldn't recall any instances of it happening that he knew of, "I suppose that means I can release you... though only under one condition." He held up one finger in front of Arlen.

Arlen was very glad that he wasn't going to be eaten as it has been just as scary to see his guardian transform into a dragon but looked very different that this one that was on top of him. But then he was told that there were many different type of dragons too when he had asked Tireu about it. Listening to what the other said. "And what would that condition be," he asked puzzled?

That this being called 'raptor' was listening made the water serpent quite pleased and he would have clapped his hands if they weren't keeping him up and from falling over at the moment, "You must join me in my battle! I could used a second set of hands and that your hands have claws makes them useful against my many enemies." Perhaps 'many' was an exaggeration but he really had no idea how many knights were out there waiting for a chance to slay him as they did with dragons!

Thinking for a second as it did seam fun to battle these 'knights' as he could meet all different type of people that he could nom just to see how they tasted or see there reactions and if they would let him nom them. "Ok as that sounds like fun and I do have foot claws too and I also like to nom on people too if that is useful," he said as smiled and thought of the little trophies he could get from those he nomed and those were mostly little bits of ripped clothing.

Leviathan seemed pleased by his answer as he shifted then pushed up onto his coils, settling down on them in a lazy manner, "Good to hear." He said, looking the raptor over and took in all his many weapons as well as his prettier features like his feathery tail. He rather liked the looks of this one, looked strong and interesting he thought to himself, "Since you come with your own weapons and decorations I think I will assign you the title of being my 'general'." He told the raptor, "What do you think?"

Once the other was off from on top of him, Arlen sat up and wiggled his toes a little to make sure that they wouldn't fall asleep. He also looked the Dragon boy over as he liked how he was all tail as it was something very different and neat at the same time and he also wanted to nibble the other too but was trying to stay polite from what his guardian has told him that his noming wasn't polite and that he wouldn't make friends if he did that. Arlen cocked his head to the side when he made refrence to his feathers as decorations as he giggled a little as the other was right they could be decorations that his body made for him. "I think that is cool, anyways I'm Arlen," he said with a smile.

"Arlen." Levi murmured, filing the name away in his head along with the title that he had bestowed upon him, "Alright, then Arlen. My name is Leviathan." He told him, holding out a hand in a gesture that he had seen people use before called a 'hand shake', it wasn't something Roll ever did since the man had no idea what manners were and Levi saw no use for them most of the time either but for now he would do it as he had drafted this raptor to his side.

He nodded as it was a name he was given and it was something he liked and treasured just like the stones he was starting to collect like his guardian, tho none that were as cool as Tireu's stones. "Its nice to meet ya Leviathan," he replied as he took a hold of Levi's hand to complete the handshake and gave it a shake and careful not to scratch his new friend with them.

Leviathan nodded his head, yes... he was an awesome person to meet, wasn't he? He swished the end of his tail again, "So, Arlen. What brings you to my ocean?" He asked, as though this section of ocean was really his. He was a bit on the territorial side when it came to the places he liked and Roll had never bothered to correct this behavior.

"Well I had not to long ago woken up from my long sleep and was told Tireu that this was a beautiful place to be on a nice day, but I think that he just wanted to bask in the sun on the beach as he doesn't like water all that much. But since I had never been to the Ocean I thought it would be a great place to experience something new to me," he said Arlen got back onto his feet.

"Ohhh." He murmured, finding the reasoning behind why he'd come to be interesting enough, "I was born on this beach." He said in a happy manner, as that was technically what it was like to come forth from the item that Roll had been gifted with. He looked out toward the water then back at Arlen again, "You really should try playing in the ocean, even if your Tireu doesn't like it I think its great fun." Though he was a water type and even able to breath under water so it was pretty obvious why he liked the ocean himself.

"That is cool! I was born nestled with lots of very beautiful rocks in the house I live in," he answered as he thought of the room filled with all different type of stones of all different sized. As Tireu had moved his item from were it was in the beginning to were he displayed all of his most beautiful stones in his collection. "That sounds like a lot of fun! Tho I don't know how to swim yet. As this is the first time I have seen so much water in one place." Arlen said as he did find the Ocean beautiful.

Leviathan's eyes got wide at the mentioned of where Arlen was born and he gave a happy sound much like a purr, "Beautiful rocks?" He asked, curious about them. He rather loved pretty trinkets himself and had gone about collecting some of them already. They were sitting in a neat pile along with Roll's stuff over by where the man was camping out, it was a dragon's prerogative to find treasures and bring them together in large hordes. What he was currently looking for was a lair, he needed one of them! He had a few ideas so far but had yet to find the 'perfect' place though.

"Oh? I can try to teach you, I was born with the ability though I am not sure how... I just knew how to swim." He said, puffing up in a proud manner.

"Yep," Arlen answered as he took one of the stones out that was a tan coloration in layers that if shaped right looked like an eye. "I was told that this stone is called a 'Tiger's eye'" he added as he handed it to Levi to get a closer look at it. It was just a small part of his collection of stones that he had in his room. "That would be cool if you would and be lots of fun. All that I know is to hunt and that I can run really fast."

"Ooooo." He said, eying the stone and felt the urge to snag it and run... but stealing from those in his group wasn't a good idea, it was how one got betrayed when their allies were most needed after all. He gave a smile, "Very pretty." He complimented the stone, able to resist the desire.

"Come on then, lets go!" He said, turning around and slithered forward into the water, submerging himself all the way to get his scales wet again the way that he liked most before he surfaced a short way out in the ocean and waited.

Arlen had to smile as he could see that Levi did like the stone and he thought of another one that he might like even better. "It is, but I have a better looking one at home that I can give you. Its similar to this one but blue in color," he said as he put the stone in his hoodie pocket as he was taking it off were he could go swimming. "Ok," he replied has he was having a little trouble getting the hoodie over his head. Once freed from the hoodie as he was already wearing swimming trunks and headed for the edge of the water and looked down at it before he put a toe in to test the water. Finding that it was ok he walked into the water to were Levi was waiting.

Levi gave a pleased sound when Arlen said that he had a stone that he would give to him. It was only right that offerings were given up him he thought in a happy manner, it was good to be the leader! He watched as his friend came into the water and he rose up on his coils and kept close to Arlen to make sure that the raptor didn't get into any trouble while they were practicing, "Alright, first thing you need to do it get used to the water." He told him, remembering that Roll always had to do that when he first got in.

A shock of a shiny kid

Tireu has been in shock to find that the crystal claw that he had just picked up wasn't in the place that he had last put it. He had heard some weird sounds comming from the room were he had desided to house that claw. Once in the room he spotted several of his stone desplays down on the floor as they had been nocked down and he knew that he was the only one that live in this small castle. He was a little miffed that some one would come in her and do this to is lovely stones. But just as he was going to pick one of the stones up than something latched on to his wrist that then panicked Tireu to the point that he lost his constration and reverted to his dragon form in which took up half of the room and broken table. Seeing what had latched to his arm and stareing at him wide eyed to his transormation to what he truely was, Tireu's heart did melt a little to how cute the raptor child was once he picked him up in his dragon form. The kid fell asleep in his arms and he just hummed with delight.

Now Tireu thought he would have to go back to Kay and talk to him about giveing items that turn into kids that were unsuspecting to what would happen with the items. He like the claw but thought that it would be fun to raise a kid. His mother would be so delighted that now he had a kid to take care of and wondered if he should tell her. For now he was going to keep that information to himself until he figured things out for himself. As he knew is mother would nag him to come and visit or even so come and visit here before he got get his head on stright about rasieing a kid as he didn't have siblings of his own to learn things from.

He just hoped that they kid would be good and not be a handful that he was when he was young. As he put the little raptor kid into his bed as he started to make a mental note of all the things that he would need and need to ask once he work up.

The Lord and the General: Part Two

It took him a short amount of time before he reappeared with a handful of clams and slithered over to Arlen's side, "Alright, here are some." He said, dumping them into the shallow water that would go barely over Arlen's feet then picked one of them up, "Alright, all we have to do is..." He showed his General how to pop the clam open before he gave a pout, "Darn, no prize in this one." He said as he dumped the meaty contents of the shells into his mouth, chewed, and swallowed. He then carefully set the shells aside, "I save them." He explained, so that Arlen wouldn't toss them aside. The shells made good treasure boxes after all and he liked to store things he found in them.

Arlen looked to what Levi had brought back up with him and looked at the clams very carefully and gave one of them that was closest to his foot as the looked like rocks to him. But he watched Levi open one of them as saw that they just looked that way to hid he thought to himself. Sitting on the ground and picking one of the clam in his hand as he tried to pick the best place try and open it up. It took a few tries to get it right before he gotten it open and found that there was nothing shiny inside. But ate the meat like he had seen and found the meat very good. "These do taste very good," he said as he did what his Lord told him and put the shell next to him as the inside of the shell was beautiful despite on how they looked on the outside. As he grabbed another one to open it.

Levi seemed to pleased to find that Arlen liked the food that he was sharing with him and the end of his long tail gave a little swish of delight, "I am glad that you like it." He said, giving a sharp tooth grin before he set to breaking into the next one, again no treasure aside from the tasty meat and the shell of the clam. He devoured it, giving a happy purr as he did so, and again set the clam shells aside for later use. He was in a grand mood if the look on his face was any indication, like a good thing as Levi in a bad mood was never fun... not that it was something seen all that often thus far.

Arlen returned the smiled as he opened more of the clams and found that if he jabbed the back of the clam hard with his claw it would open a lot easier, but most of what he gotten was just the tasty meat and the shells for Levi. As he picked up a clam that was very ugly and opened it up and when he opened it up he found a little pearl inside. Taking it out and looking at it in the sun before he handed over to Levi. "Here you go," he said as he gave it to him as Arlen thought it was fair enough in his mind and payment for getting all the tasty clams in the first place.

The sea serpent seemed pleased with the offering as as before the little pearl was taken and hidden away under one of his scales as he happily finishing off the last clam before he patted his hands against his belly, feeling quite full, "Oooo, man... I am so full." He murmured, giving a happy sort of grin. His stomach was swollen slightly due to all he'd eaten making him look a little on the chubby side but he really didn't bothered by it at all. After all it was the job of the princesses to be attractive, not the job of the dragon. Or so he would tell a person if they asked.

Grinning happy as Levi took the pearl as he at last ate the meat and found that he was full with the very good meat. Maybe sometime later on he would have to catch something for Levi, maybe a bird or something equally as tasty, something that his Lord hadn't eaten before. "So what type of things do you eat, beside the clams," he asked.

Leviathan tilted his head to one side, seeming to be thinking on the question, "All sorts of fish, some sea mammals when they are to slow and oblivious to me approaching them, all kinds of shell fish, things like shrimps and lobster and crab... basically anything that enters the ocean I have free domain over and have tasted at least once... well aside from really big things like whales since I can't quite take them on yet and no humans since Roll would be upset with me if I ate a person."

Listening to what Leviathan had to say and found that there were lots of good sounding things in the ocean as he hadn't eaten much from the ocean himself as Tireu didn't like the water all that much as the only fish that he had eaten was what his guardian had gotten from the store as it was good but Arlen found the clams very tasty. "That is cool, I have eaten some fish, but I have mostly eaten thinks that walk on the earth or fly in the sky," he said as he did love going hunting with Tireu and all the fresh red meat was oh so tasty too.

"The only meat that lives on the land or in the sky I have tried was stuff at the restaurant that was already cooked, not nearly as good as when you catch it fresh but Roll can't eat raw fish... it can be such a pain at times." He said, glancing over to where the man was for only a moment and then back to Arlen since he was the important one here, "We will need to see about hunting together sometime." It would be tough since he was built for land hunting and Arlen wasn't built for hunting in the waters but... it was what made his General so perfect, he was able to do well what Levi himself wasn't as good at.

"That does suck, I go out with Tireu all the time to hunt as he doesn't eat his meat any other way. He said that lifeless meat it nasty only the still living meat is the best and the way to go. But one has to honor those that have given up there life to fed another," he said as he did like Tireu and all the thing that he was teaching him. "Yes that sounds like a good idea and a fun one," he replied as it would be cool to learn how to hunt in the ocean and he just might have to do some research on the matter too. But they made a perfect match on how they each hunted as each other could protect the other from what they weren't designed for.

Levi seemed pleased with the fact that they were going to go hunting together, it had him grinning up a storm before he set to gathering up the clam shells. He rinsed them off in the water them looked them over before smiling and nodding, they would do well in what he used them for he thought to himself before looking up at Arlen, "I will need to bring these and my other treasures to my deep water vault." He explained to the raptor, "But we will need to do this again real soon General Arlen, I rather enjoy spending time with you." It was odd, aside from Arlen he had no desire to spend terribly much time with any other males, even Roll didn't get as good a reception as his General did.

Arlen grinned as he would have to think on what land animals would be best to hunt that Levi could have in on the action. "Ok I will see you soon then, my Lord. As I do also enjoy spending time with you as well," he replied as he gave Levi a bow and left him to go and put his treasure his under water vault. Tho Arlen did wonder to where he was going to put his treasures, but then thought for the time being he would just put them where he had always put them he thought as he walked home.

With Lord Levi: Part Two

(( Warning: Scene contains blood, gore, and hunting/eating of deer))

There was a chuckle from the sea serpent, "Yes, she was quite amusing... did a lot of shrieking and flailing... ahahahha..." It was to amusing to him how they had reacted to him, it had made him such a happy dragon to have that princess along with her friend both screaming, struggling, and begging, it was how princess should react when in the presence of a powerful dragon like himself. He found himself looking up at the trees as they approached them, trying to find the one that he would be able to best hide himself in. It would need to have low branches, lots of leaves, and be sturdy since he was on the heavy side. After a time of inspection he pointed, "I think that one will work." He said, pointing to one that had everything that he wanted of a good hiding spot.

Arlen looked at the tree that Levi had pointed to as it was a very good tree to use. "I think that you are right," he replied as he walked over to the tree and started to look it over and judge distances from other trees to were he could herd the deer without worrying too much about him hitting the trees if he was running at full speed. "Why don't you get already and comfortable while I go and look for some deer and spook them back here and you will hear me coming as when deer are scared they make lots of noise when they are running away," he said to his Lord before he zipped off at full speed to find some of the deer.

Levi nodded, watching as Arlen raced off at a speed that he couldn't match on land before he made his way up the tree. Luckily it wasn't to tough to get himself up into the branches when he concentrated on the task, among other things climbing was new to him but he was able to do it. He coiled himself up in the branches and got comfortable but ready at the same time, his entire body tense but ready, eager for the hunt and to see what a deer looked like when it wasn't deer royalty as that last deer he'd seen had been. He was grinning in a devious fashion and doing his best to keep from drooling, knowing that a fresh meal of meat he'd never sampled was on its way.

It didn't take Arlen too long to find some deer and some nice sized ones too as he herded them towards to were Levi was going to spring the trap. It was a little hard to keep the three deer from all running off in different directions, but he did manage by running all around them and scaring them or swiping at them just inches from hurting them. The three deer bounded towards the tree that Levi was currently in as Arlen had stopped chasing them but stayed near to keep them were he wanted them. There were two bucks and a doe so very tired out from there running as they had slowed when getting near the tree as Arlen didn't follow them but they were still very alert to there surroundings as the deer knew Arlen was still around.

Levi looked down from the tree as the beasts got close and his eyes got a bit wide, they were larger then he was expecting after meeting their princess he thought to himself. Larger though meant that they would have more to eat from them though... which one though, it depended on them, depended on which one was foolish enough to come close enough to him so that he could drop down upon it. He was looking toward the doe though, half hoping it would be her. It would be far easier for him to take her down due to her lack of antlers. He shifted carefully, moving closer to the edge of the branch he was on, waiting... waiting... and much to his delight it was foolish doe that came to his tree, basically coming to hide almost under him.

He shifted again, carefully... and he dropped down on the female, his weight staggered and stunned her for a moment and that moment as all he needed to wrap his arms around her neck and his coils around the rest of her. It was pure skill if you were to ask Levi and his overly large ego...

Waiting patiently and making sure the deer didn't leave before his Lord make the kill, but once he saw that a target was chosen and in the process of being killed did Arlen run at the other deer to scare them of to were they couldn't be any trouble, but the two left were more then happy to leave this place and run as fast as they could away and Arlen watched them go as he walked up to Levi and waited for the doe to die before they both feasted on the warm red meat. Arlen was starting to drool a little at what he knew was coming soon.

It didn't take to long for the struggle to be over, if nothing else Levi had a powerful body, able to crush the wind and life out of her. His lips curled up into a grin and the end of his tail gave a twitch when he felt her go limb under him and collapsed. He pushed up so he could look down at the deer before grinning, "Excellent!" He said, clapping his hands together in delight before looking over at Arlen, "Come, General Arlen. Let's feast." He said, clapping his hands together in a happy manner.

Arlen gave a happy sound as he came over to the kill and with one of his claws on his hand he disemboweled the deer in one sweep of the claw and then pulled them all out to discard them and to make sure that it wouldn't in time make them meat taste bad. "So what part of this kill do you want to try first my Lord?" he asked with one of his hands bloody as raised the hand to his mouth to lick some of the blood off.

Levi watched Arlen deal with a part of the animal in a manner that seemed important and he made a mental note to remember that move were he to hunt one of these things again. He turned his attention his General then asked in a thoughtful manner, "What are the best tasting parts?" As he'd never had a deer before he would ask the advice of one who seemed to know about them well enough to know how to hunt them and how to deal with them after the hunt.

Giving a thought on what was the best parts and it was just a mater of preference. "Well when I'm out hunting with Tireu, he says the liver and the heart are one of the best parts, but I don't like the organ meat all that much as the liver has a too much iron taste to it. But if you want to try them you can," he said as he had made sure when he pulled out the guts that the heart and the liver were resting on top of the rest of the guts and not the ground and picked them up to show Levi what the two organs looked like if he decided to eat them and put the back down on the guts and back to the main kill. "I like the haunches of the deer," he said as he pointed to what he was talking about and lifted one of the back legs and separated the leg with it haunches from the main body, exposing some of the bleeding red meat as he showed it to Levi and waited for him to decide before he ate. "Also the hide and especially the fur are not fun to eat," he added as he tried it once and it wasn't very good tasting if a lot was eaten.

He tilted his head to one side, looking the two pieces overly closely before he gave a nod of his head reaching a hand out to take one of them, "Might as well try them." He said, sniffing at the meat for a moment before he gave it a bite. He tilted his head to one side, chewing on it, "Hrm... this isn't to bad." He told him, chewing, then swallowed, "Mmm... not bad." He looked over at the other one, sniffed at it, then bit into the second part. It was really iron rich as Arlen had said but, "I rather like this one." The liver was far better then the heart but he wasn't one to waste food so he ended up wolfing down both pieces.

Arlen has to giggles slightly as his preference of not really liking those organ meats is that Tireu most of the time ate them quickly before they got too cold as he really like his meat hot. After Levi had eaten the liver and the heart, Arlen handed him over the leg that he carved up for him to eat. As he went back to the rest of the deer to carve up the other leg and started to eat with much gusto as he was use to eating his share of the kill fast as to were if he didn't then sometimes it would be taken from him.

Levi smiled as the next piece of meat was handed over to him and he set to munching on that as well, he was going to end up stuffed full by the time he was done eating but he didn't care the meat was soooo good! He didn't even notice that he was purring as he ate, so content and pleased at the moment that the strange habit he had was rearing its head. Good, so good, "Your a fantastic General, Arlen." He praised the raptor.

"Thank you, Lord Levi," he answered as he paused from eating and smile as he heard the purring his lord was making as it was interesting but he kept that information to himself as he helped himself to some more of the meat, but to make sure that he left enough of it for as much as Levi wanted. They could always leave the rest of the leftover meat for the scavengers of this forest and come hunting another day. "Another day we will have to go hunting again but for something different that time around," he said between the mouth fulls of meat.

He gave a chuckle, hands patting his full belly, "That sounds nice though I don't think I will be able to eat another bite for some time." He said with a chuckle, rubbing his hands over his belly, purring a moment before he relaxed back on his coils and set to licking his hands clean of the blood that clung to them, "We will need to figure out a way for you to come hunting with me as well." He told Arlen, it would be fun if they could figure out a way for him to do water hunting... though it would take a bit of thought on Levi's part.

Arlen gave a little burp as he was now fit to burst with all that he had eaten and wanted nothing more to do now was to be lazy and sit in the sun. "Well that is good and it will be lots of fun," he answered as he thought it would be birds that they would hunt next time, well it would be him mostly as they were really fast and hard to catch or at least some of them were, as he thought of his favorite birds to eat. "That we do, but we will figure it out in time I'm in no hurry, when careful planning is always the best way to go," Arlen said as he rolled a bone between his teeth before spiting it out near the carcass. As it wasn't totally picked clean and he did think to bring some of it home, but thought better on it as it wasn't as warm as Tireu liked so he just might have to kill something before he when back home as he licked some of the blood of his hands and fully well knowing that he would need to wash up before heading into town or get questioned about the blood on him.

"That is true, I don't want to risk anything happening to my precious General." He murmured, Arlen's safety was more important then a bit of water hunting after all. Levi would figure it out, after all as the Lord it was his job to be able to figure out how to bring the raptor to the watery realm. He pushed himself up on his coils with a bit of a groan, feeling quite heavy and languid at the moment. He found himself wanting to go curl up in the warm sands on the beach to nap.

Arlen a small purr as it was nice to be needed by someone other than the ones that were taking care of you. "That is very nice of you, Lord," he replied as he thought a good nap would be so nice. "Why don't we go back to the beach and take a nap. As I ate too much and want nothing more than to nap off some of what I have eaten," he added and hoping that it wasn't too bold for him to say that to his Lord.

Leviathan couldn't help but to chuckle, "You read my mind, General Arlen, I was thinking about the same thing." He told him, rather pleased to hear that they were even thinking along the same lines, "Yes, lets go get us a nice nap in the warm sand." He agreed, stretching out before he led the way back toward the section of beach that he had claimed as his territory. The end of his tail was swishing, a pleased grin on his face. He was a very, very happy dragon at the moment and it was easy to tell.

Arlen had to giggle as it was funny to think that they were thinking the same thing too. "Lets, Lord Levi," he said as he followed his lord to his territory to were a nice nap in the warm sands awaited them as his own tail swished behind him as he walked.

When they arrived Levi plopped down in the sand, uncoiling himself so that all of him could soak up the sun, and he gave a purring sound, the end of his tail swishing. He shifted a bit to wiggle into the warm sands of the beach and he smiled in a toothy way, "That's nice." He murmured, watching Arlen to see what he thought of the nice sandy napping spot.

Watching to what Levi was doing as he really hadn't had taken a nap on the beach, but he did like to nap in the sun especially after eating so much food. As soon as his lord was settled he choose a spot not too far from Levi as he dug a little pit for his butt to make sure that he didn't get to warm and sat down in it and wiggled around a little to get the sand to settle around him. "Yes it is," he also murmured as he closed his eyes and drifted off.

The sea serpent Lord was quite pleased that the General seemed to enjoy his territory and the warm sands on the beach he watched him for a moment more as he started to drift off before Levi let his own eyes sink shut and was soon dozing himself. It had been a good day and there were only good things to come ahead, it was a good day to be a dragon.

Playing with Manami

It was a very rainy day and Arlen didn't feel too much like going outside and getting wet. He knew that Levi was out and Arlen thought that sometime soon he would have to go over to the beach to see if his Lord would be back. But for now he was at home wandering around trying to decide on what he could do. Tho he did like the idea of having siblings as they were lots of fun most of the time unless all three of them wanted to play with him at the same time and that was just tiring and he then would have to escape and he was glad that he was fast. Heading for the kitchen as something sweet would be nice he thought as he was trying to decide on what he wanted.

Manami, leader of the Kitsunes so long as you asked her... or him as it currently was, was sneaking along down the hallway after her older and more elusive but interesting brother Arlen. She wanted to get some one on one playtime with him which meant catching him while Amano and Shizuko were busy with other things. The many tails of the orange fox were wagging behind him and his smile was a devious one as he had acquired his target. Eyes locked on Arlen's tail. He had such a coooool tail! Mana wanted that too! As he followed after his brother he started to concentrate, hard. The power to swap from being boy or girl, that was simple! In fact doing that was as easy as breathing! Doing the copy cat thing, that was more difficult... he had to study a person for long periods of time to learn all their details. The color of their skin, their eyes, their hair... or feathers in this instance. Not to mention little quirks about the person, things others might pick up on like scars... he was working very hard and the soft, padding sound of Mana's footsteps changed to a different sort of sound that had a clicking to it as his new found claws tapped against the stone floor. Woot! He'd done it! He was the best kitsune that had ever lived!

Arlen really hadn't been paying attention to who was following him but he didn't care too much as he knew that most of the time one of the triplets would follow him around, so that wasn't new until he heard a clicking sound on the stone floor his claws would make if he didn't pull up the claws to where they wouldn't click much and to were they would stay sharp. So Arlen turned around to find that he was looking at himself but not a exact copy. He just smile and started to giggles at it was a great sight to see. As he looked him over Arlen could see just who it was. "Are you having fun Mana?

The imperfect version of Arlen starred back at him for a long moment, the biggest tell that it was a bad copy being that his eyes were closed in the same manner that Mana's eyes always were. He trotted forward and gave a grin, "Imma Raptar!" He declared, tail wagging happily before he started to trot in slow circles around Arlen, claws going 'click, click, click' on the stone as he went. He was enjoying himself far to much and it was easy to tell...

All he could do again was to laugh but harder this time. "Your not a Raptor, your just a little copy kitsune," Arlen said as he looked Mana over and thought to what this could lead to. "Well if you want to be a better Raptor then don't let your claw 'click' on the floor often it will make them dull," Arlen said as he could see that he would have a little copy kitsune following him around, but knew if he didn't want Mana to follow was to run away and that was something you cant copy. "Well I'm going to the kitchen to get a sweet do you want one too?"

Mana puffed up, "Am to a Raptar!" He said, arms crossing crossing over his chest for a moment before he started to stomp around, "Rawr! RAWR!" He said in the worst impression of a Raptor ever before he titled his head to the side, "Hrm? No clicking?" He looked down at his feet in a curious manner, starting to step more carefully as though he were trying to figure out how to walk with out clicking... of course it was just a more careful clicking sound as he walked in this slow fashion. He set to giggling a bit as he wasn't seeming to do very well at the whole no clicking thing.

"Hrm? Oh! Sweets! Yes!" He said, bouncing up and down in an excited fashion. Yes, treats! He wanted many, many of those!

Arlen just shook his head as Mana wasn't all that good at copying what a raptor does or even how he does it, so he wasn't too worried for now that anyone could see that it wasn't him, but maybe later on he just might have to. Arlen also had to smile at how he was walking slowly to not click the claws on the floor. "Well come on the," he said as he walked on towards the kitchen not making a sound. Once there he checked out the various cabinets to see what was there and what was not. But opening once of the cabinets to find a bag of hard candy and some chocolate. "So what type of sweet would you like Mana?" he asked as knew what he wanted.

There was a nod from the little raptor who happily clicked alongside his brother though a short while the sound of the steps changed from clicking to normal padding of Mana's small feet once more. He wagged his many tails as he reached out to catch hold of the end of Arlen's tail, holding onto it as they walked. He really did have a nice tail Mana thought to himself as they walked along, "Mana likes your tail, Brother Arlen." He said, giving a happy fox grin as they walked along.

Arriving in the kitchen his hold on Arlen was abandoned so he to could go digging around through the cabinets, climbing up on the counters, and he went wandering across it, looking in each cabinet, "There is lots of good foods!" He announced, tail swishing as she took down a bag of jerky that wasn't a 'sweet' but it was at least a tasty treat to be had. He turned around, plopping down on the counter before he started to eat out of the bag. He was three handfuls in when he saw what Arlen had and his smile got huge, "Oooo! Brother Arlen has candies!" Mana hopped off of the counter and trotted over to Arlen to see what he had.

Smiling as he looked to find that Mana was back to his original form as it was nice to have siblings that could copy as it would be fun prank to pull on others. Maybe he would have to do that someday to scare Tireu and logged those thoughts for later on. "Well I'm glad, Mana. I like my tail too," he replied and thought it was very cute of him to hold his tail as they walked.

"Make sure you don't scratch the cabinets too much. Tireu wouldn't like that much," Arlen said as he could remember how Tireu reacted when he accidentally scratched some of the wood around the house. He also smiled when he turned to find Mana munching on jerky and his thought were yuk at that, he liked fresh meat more bloodier the better, but oh well he thought. "I do, so would you like some of the hard candies? I wont give you too much as its sorta close to dinner time," he said as he took the bag of hard candy down and opened it up.

Mana trotted over, reaching out a hand so that Arlen could put the candy in it, "Mana is hungry enough to eat all of this stuff plus dinner!" He said in a overly confident manner, hoping that acting as such might get him more candy then Arlen was planning to share with him. He was young yet so had no consent of how much he should or shouldn't eat treats wise, especially before dinner. He just knew that the jerky tasted good and the candy that Arlen had looked good.

Well Arlen thought to what was told of him and knew that it might be a bad idea too give Mana too much of the candy. "Here you go," he said as he gave Mana a good handful of the hard candies into his open hands. Once given Arlen put a few of the hard candies in his pocket and opened one and put it into his mouth. "So is there anything that you want to do, Mana?"

Mana gave a delighted sound, pulling the candy to his and then found that with a bunch of candy in one hand and a bag of jerky in the other that he couldn't eat either, "Ahh... no..." He muttered before he plopped down onto the ground and lowered his loot to sit on the floor in front of him, "Huh? Do? We should play! Mana would love to play with Arlen." He said happily before he started to unwrap candy and stuffed them into his mouth, tails wagging happily as he feasted on the sugary treats.

Arlen thought it was very cute to watch Mana eat the sweets and jerky. Thinking to what they could do or play on this rainy day. He thought as he slowly ate some of his candy and to let Mana eat his as his own tail wag slowly behind him as he also thought and wondered if Levi had tried sweets and thought that the next time he would meet up with his lord that he would have to bring some sweets too. "Ok, so what would you like to play?"

What should they play he found himself thinking before he hopped up to his feet, stretching out all over before he gave a grin, "I think Arlen should wrestle with Mana!" He said, rushing forward to try to pounce on his brother in an eager manner. Playing a rough game like this with Arlen would be more interesting then playing with Shi or Ama since both of them were a bit soft if you asked Mana.

Thinking on that for a little as Arlen didn't want to hurt Mana if it got too rough, but he would just have to be careful if that is what he wanted to play. "That would be fun, but not too rough. I don't want to hurt you," he said as he gave his wiggled his fingers and toes and clicked his claws on the floor. "Lets also do it in one of the larger rooms too," Arlen added as he didn't want anything broken either.

Mana clung to his brother for a moment then looked at his many claws before he gave a little laugh and a nod, "Ahhh... yeah, your probably right." He said, he didn't want to get impaled on those so best that he be careful. He looked around the kitchen a moment, "Bigger room? Hmm... ok!" He didn't mind where they went so long as they got to go somewhere to play he thought as he released Arlen for the moment so they could find another place to play their game.

Arlen smiled big he as Mana clung to him for a little bit. As he was careful for the most part with his claws but when excited he tended to forget that he had them but that had mostly been when had been hunting as he didn't wrestled all that much so this was sorta new to him. "Come on," he said as took Mana's hand and walked out of the kitchen and to one of the empty large room not too far off from the kitchen. Once getting there finding that within that room was lots of pillows around and nothing that could break and though it was good. "So is this room good?"

"Pillow Room!" Mana squealed, forgetting for a moment why they were here as he rushed forward and dove into a pile of the pillows and then set to rolling around on them. What a fun room! Had he known there was something like this in the house he might have claimed it for his bedroom instead of the one he claimed he thought to himself. He gave a little, devious grin as he picked up a pillow and tossed it playfully at his brother.

All Arlen could do was shake his head as he knew that this room was recently finished with all the pillows as Tireu thought it would be fun for the triplets to play in without hurting themselves or breaking things. Then suddenly a pillow hit him it the face and stuns him for a second and the looked at Mana and saw that grin. Smiling Arlen picked up the pillow and threw it back and quickly got into the room to were he could get more ammo to throw at Mana giggling and tail waging.

Mana gave a little 'omph' sound as he got hit with the pillow before he sent it and a couple others flying at Arlen, squealing in delight. This was even better then wrestling he thought to himself as he bounced along the pillow pile, hoping if he kept moving and throwing he might hit Arlen again and might be able to dodge. It was all dependent upon luck since he was a bit slow and didn't have the best balance since he was still young.

Knowing that he could have totally swamped is brother in pillows as he was very fast and a little older to. So he kept it to a slow pace in his book but normal for others, as he got hit by more of the pillows from Mana as he kept throwing more towards Mana. As he was having a fun time, but making sure to make it far and fun for both of them.

Manami lifted up a pillow and tossed it at Arlen, at the same time he rushed forward and with a squealing sound he caught hold of his brother's, pretty tail and hung off it for as long as he could before he fell off due to giggling to hard. He was having perhaps to much fun with this game, "Manami things Arlen is the best big brother in the world." The orange furred fox said in a manner that was very matter of fact.

Arlen giggled as the pillow did hit him as he was also having lots of fun. As this was a different type of fun than he would with Tireu or Levi. But as he was giggling he didn't see that Manami was heading for his tail but then smiled when it was hung on to before Manami let go of it because of all his giggling fit. "Awww, thanks Manami. I that you are very much fun to play with and a good little brother," he said patting Manami on the head. "So besides having a pillow fight, is there anything else that you would like to do?"

Manami rolled over onto his hand and knees, seeming to be thinking deeply on that question before he hopped up to his feet, "Manami wants raptor back rides!" He squealed, throwing his arms up into the air in an excited and eager manner, "Please, please Brother Arlen! Give Manami a raptor back ride? He would like it very much!"

Smiling big as he had never given anyone raptor back rides but then he hadn't met anyone small enough that he could carry on his back before. He thought it would be loads of fun and maybe a way he could strength up when he was running around. "Ok, Manami, I will give you raptor back rides," he said with a slight giggle and a smile. As he got down on his knees to were Manami could climb onto his back. "Now make sure that you hold on tight, but don't choke me as you do and then we will be set to run at a fast pace" he said waiting for Manami to get on.

Manami gave a squealing sound, sounding excited and even set to jumping up and down in place before he pounced on his brother, climbing up onto his back and hugged on him tightly, "Yay! Let's go!" He said in delight, that Arlen even promised that they would go fast only made him that much more excited over all of this, "Yes, yes! Fast, Manami wants to go super, raptor fast!" He said, wrapping his arms, legs, and tails around Arlen so that he wouldn't fall off while they were running.

Arlen just had to chuckle at Manami's excitement to having a ride on his back and he thought it would be all fun and practice to him to see how well he could run with someone on his back, fully well that he would have to go sorta slow to being with and then go faster as he got use to the weight and could balance with Manami on his back. "Yep we will but not right at first until I know my balance with you on my back," he said to his little brother as he was latching on to were he wouldn't fall off. "Ok here we go," he said as he started off slow until Arlen was comfortable with his balance did he finally go faster, but not at top speed as he didn't know if Manami could handle it.

The fox didn't even seem to realize that they weren't going at top speed because the speed they were going at was faster then he was able to ever go on his own. It was just... amazing! He was squealing with delight he couldn't help but to hug onto his brother a little tighter, not enough to choke him but enough to convey have happy he was... if the squealing and giggling wasn't enough to tell Arlen how happy the little fox was at the moment.

Running around the castle was fun as it was a good way to see how good his reaction was to when a all or random object came into view and he had to avoid it or crash into it. Arlen was very happy that Manami was having fun riding his back as he was having fun as well. But he knew he wouldn't be able to run for much longer as he wasn't a long distance runner at his high speeds but for short distances as he was reaching that limit. Arlen started to slow down as he rounded towards the kitchen as he was getting thirsty. Coming to a halt in front refrigerator and reaching inside to get a bottle of water. "Do you want anything, Manami?"

Manami gave a happy giggle as they raced about the castle, enjoying the raptor ride to its fullest and seemed to enjoyed even more that the ride ended in front of the fridge! He clapped his hands in delight before sliding down off of Arlen's back so that he could peek inside the fridge and set to curious inspecting what there was to have before he grabbed a juice box, "Oh! Manami loves these!"

"Those are good and good for you too as long as you don't have too many of them," he said as Arlen took more sips of his water and shut the fridge to here more more of the cold air would get out. "Anything else you like to do?" he asked.

Manami sucked down his juice box in one go then started to pant for a breath before holding it up in triumph, "Did you see that! Manami totally beat that juice box! He is the master of juice!" The fox boy all but squealed, giving a toothy grin. He seemed quite pleased with himself before he gave a loud burp that had him laughing hysterically.

Arlen watched the little fox suck down the juice in one gulp and was proud of him. As he gave a giggle when hearing the loud burp. Arlen gave inhaled a little and did a burp of his own and gave a smile after he was finished.

The fox's laughter got only that much louder at the burp that came from his brother, "Oh! That was a good one! Manami's turn!" He said, gulping air so he could do another burp himself, finding the game as one that seemed to be far to much fun! He'd barely gotten the burp out before he set to giggling once more.

Tail wagging slightly at the new game that they were playing as it was interesting as Arlen also like the sound of the foxy laughter. "Well that last one was a good one as well," Arlen said breathing in more air as he let another burp out as it was a game he was good at, but then if he did it too much is breath would stink of what he had eaten yesterday.

There was an amused squeal from Manami who clapped his hands together, "Ahh... hahaha... Manami must give up before he gets sick." He told Arlen, he didn't want to end up getting sick, especially after drinking all of that red juice since it would just end up looking like something out of a horror movie if he did that now, "Manami will ask for a rematch later when he isn't so full up with juice."

Arlen's tail wagged some more as his smile gotten bigger at what Manami had told him. "Yes, yes we can and the next time we can use pop to make bigger burps and then see who can make the loudest ones," Arlen said as it would be much fun and one step in his mind before maybe Tireu and him would take the triplets hunting if the wanted it.

"That sounds like fun! Manami looks forward to when he can play that game with brother Arlen." He said, clapping his hands together in delight before he lifted them both up to smother a yawn, "Oh... wow! Manami is getting a bit sleepy it seems." He said, sounding a bit surprised by this fact, then again he had been playing rather hard, running around, throwing things, and otherwise expending a lot of energy. Not to mention that Manami was still pretty young.

"It will be loads of fun," he replied as he heard Manami say that he was tired. Arlen picked up Manami and headed for the door and to where Manami's room to put him to bed. "Well with all the fun we had I was thinking that you might get tired," Arlen said and knew that he would get tired, being young. Once in Manami's room, Arlen put him into his bed. "Sleep well little one and we will have fun another day,"

Manami gave happy sound when Arlen picked him up and he curled up against his chest, "Mmm... a little tired, yes... Manami probably needs a name." He murmured, nuzzling against Arlen, his ears laying back and for a moment it seemed as though he were already asleep until he was put into bed. He gave a little jump, looking around for a moment, yawned again, then crawled under the blankets all the way, "Manami will be happy to play again soon." He said, his voice a little muffled by the blanket and a moment later snoring could be heard from under the blanket.

Arlen gave Manami a kiss on the forehead as he drifted off to sleep. "Sleep well little fox," he said as then he walked out of the room and shut the door behind him. Then Arlen when to his own room to where he could study his stones more.

With Lord Levi: Part 2

Once Levi was inside the shop, Arlen let go of the door and walked over to his Lord's side. Arlen was a very big fan of sweets as he did have to fight over them as all in the household loved them, so he had gotten use to hided any treats he brought home. Looking inside the counter to decide on what flavor that he wanted as there was lots there. "Lord if you want to try any of the flavors all you have to do is say you want to try the flavor you want to," Arlen said as he still looking over all the different types they had.

Levi's tail was swishing that much more, "There appear to be many delicious flavors." He murmured, inspecting them closely, and seemed to be struggling with deciding which of the many flavors he wanted. It was hard to decide! He gave a hissing sound in his throat as though he were being threatened with a most horrible decision before finally pointing at a flavor that was chocolate with peanut butter cups in it, "I believe that is the one I want." He said then motioned at the woman behind the counter, "Ice Cream wench, fetch that one for me." He said, giving her a look that seemed to make her think twice about arguing with him despite his rudeness.

"Oh yes there is, but you can always come back to try the other flavors," he said he did finally did decide on the one he wanted, a black licorice flavored one. "I would like that one," he said as he pointed to the black colored ice cream as he just smiled at what his lord said to the lady. Walking over to another lady that was in the shop he payed for the ice cream and with a small tip too for very tasty ice cream. Once he got his ice cream he started to lick it as it tasted so good. "We will have to do this again some other time, Lord,"

The dragon lord reached out to take his ice cream from the woman and was instantly gulping it down, the end of his tail wagging as he did, "Your right, this is a rather good place to visit when we are away from my territory." He agreed, quite pleased with how the day had gone thus far. He had his treat finished in a snap and was considering getting more given he was a very large creature and had a very large belly as a result.

Arlen just beamed as he was very happy that his Lord was pleased with the ice cream and he would keep it in mind when ever they were near to visit and have some ice cream. "Also next time we will try the different ways they can prepare the ice cream. As there are many ways for it to be put together," Arlen said as he quickly finished off his ice cream as it had hit the spot. "Well we better be off before stupid people decide they want to go on your territory and we can plan the next trip as Tireu always take me for some kind of treat after a hunt," he suggested.

"Yes, we should be getting back." He agreed, making a mental note that when he got strong enough to spread his territory further he would need to swallow this place up into his territory so they could have ice cream whenever they wanted it. He grinned a bit as he slithered along with Arlen, abandoning the ice cream shop for now, "Yes, let us plan our next move." He murmured, seeming thoughtful, "I have been thinking of taking more territory now that I am bigger." He told Arlen with a toothy smile, "Bigger dragon, bigger territory since I need more to fill my stomach."

Arlen just smiled as he followed his Lord out of the shop as he was thinking on things as one thought he was thinking as he got older and larger he would leave Tireu to have a place of his own and maybe somewhere near to his Lords territory. But that would take lots of planning and preparation to do so. "Sounds like fun Lord. Maybe you could create a sign or something to mark your territory to tell others that what you have claimed is yours. That is very true and you could see if you could get other in your army to patrol your territory for you to even have a much larger one that you yourself could control," he said "Also you could have people that want to use your territory to pay you homage to use it," he suggested as he walk with Levi back to his territory.

Each idea was filed away for later use while the sea dragon nodded, "Those are useful suggestions, General Arlen. Ones that I will need to consider putting into place." He looked quite delighted over the idea of having people patrolling his territory. He would need to find someone trustworthy to do just that but he was sure he would figure it out. First and foremost though the signs he decided, those were the most important thing that he was almost certain would keep people away. Beware of Dragon he thought to himself before chuckling, "I think that is a grand idea, I will work on the signs very soon."

"Thank you my Lord Levi," he said as he smiled and bowed as he was very happy Levi like the ideas that he suggested. "Very good, if you need help with anything I will be willing to help you," he said to his Lord as he was just having fun just being with his Lord.

Levi nodded, "If I require assistance you will be the first I contact since you are my General." He said, as his General the Raptor was his most trusted man, the one he spent the most time plotting with, and the one that knew the most, "Ahhh, it feels like we were gone forever." He murmured as they returned to the beach, looked it over, and then nodded in a pleased manner. His attention turned to Arlen as they went from walking on the grass to the sand and he seemed pleased with the change, liking the feel of the sand better as it had a lot more give under his weight.

The raptor smiled and nodded to his Lord. "It would be an honor," he said. "Yes the sand is very nice and warm too," Arlen said as he did like the sand to bask on but for running at his top speeds it was hard and more staple ground for running. But then he thought sand did have its uses for thrown in others eyes could temporally blind and then could get the kill or win a fight. Arlen keeping his eyes on his Lord as they walk as it would be good just to relax before heading home.

As they reached the edge of the beach where the water reached Levi's coils shifted and spread out in the sand so that he could lay down on the warm beach, arms folding behind his head, and his exotic colored eyes closed, "Are you staying for a time, General Arlen? Or are you needed elsewhere?" He asked of him, wondering if he were meaning to leave now that he'd seen Leviathan to his territory.

Arlen smiled warmly at his lord as he did need a rest away from those at his home at it can be tiring at times. "I will be staying for a time if it is alright with you, Lord Leviathan," he said as he sat down near Levi soaking in the warm sun.
