Jada started to sit along with Europa, but abruptly discovered that it was a bad idea. A single shard of glass had gone right through the fluffy, thick bottom of her skirt and the end of it was poking into her own apparently fluffy bottom. Her nostrils flared in annoyance and she tried to get a look at it through the window. Well, it was visible, at least. She gripped it and tugged it from her skirt. Finished shaking the shards from her curls and checked along her spine. "Do you see anything else in my back?" she asked Europa.
She crunched over the glass, washing her hands in the sink. Luckily her hands weren't bleeding too badly; most of the glass washed off down the drain. Held out her own hands for peroxide. "Very lucky we were here." she reinforced Europa's comment as an echo.

"Um, yeah," nodded Europa, squinting at Jada's back. She plucked the offending slivers of glass and dabbed the spots with peroxide. "Sorry, sorry," she winced. Peroxide stung and that was how you knew it was working. "All better."
She looked at the server again. "It might be a good idea to call the police and report a break-in," she said pensively. "Don't tell them it was us, though, okay?"
She did her best to smile coyly. "I think maybe you owe us that much. We did save your life and all. "
She looked to her teammate. "Time to get going?" she asked.

Scylla didn't like the peroxide, whimpering a little like a kicked puppy under her breath when the other girl pressed the liquid to the torn bits of flesh. "It doesn't feel better." she groused.
carefully, she lifted the hem of her skirt a bit (an inch, maybe!) to check and see if she was bleeding anywhere else. That was when she caught the server looking between Europa's face and Scylla's own thighs; she flushed, shoved the hem back down. "Right." she tried to keep her tone brisk. "Police. A break-in. Vandalism. Please don't mention us?"
What was he going to tell the cops anyway? 'Two girls in short little outfits broke in and... stole the ice cream.'
It wasn't like they'd taken the money. Though if this place had security cameras in it she'd be surprised. Who knew what the guy would pull when they were gone.
"Definitely time to get going." she agreed with Europa. Carefully, she moved across the floor to open the door, holding it for the other woman. "This takes food fight to a whole new level for me."

"Oh, definitely," agreed Europa with a chuckle. The door closed behind them, its bell tinkling in a way that was utterly incongruous to everything that had just happened.
As they walked-slash-limped across the parking lot, Europa cast a sidelong glance at Scylla. "We have got to stop meeting like this," she said.
Apparently the combined spheres of "The Deep" and "The Kraken" were too much for Youma to resist. "But," she continued, "I do think we're a good team. You should come patrol with us sometime! Team Anglerfish - Me and Pyxis are the only members right now, but we could use someone with an attack like yours."
Because, the truth was, Europa and Pyxis won battles on sheer dumb luck; neither exactly had offensive strength.
After two meetings such as theirs, though, Europa understood that the other girl might not be so quick to take her up on her offer. She quickly added, "Think about it and call me later this week. I've gotta get home, anyway."

Scylla nodded at Europa as they reached the edge of the parking lot. "I'll give you a call via the... magical banana phones... when I figure out what is going on. Or you can call me sometime when you and Pyxis? are going out. It won't hurt to join up with you once. Well, anymore than usual."
The grin she gave the other senshi was wry.
"I'll see you soon."
