Yua, jumped a bit when the Mizukage yelled about the teacher's and the teaching program, she did think it needed improvement so she did not protest what he had said. Yua looked back at the book after the Mizukage told her to read more and then she looked back up with a slightly frustrated face. "Now this is all it tell's about Puppet user's we need updated books , almost all it says about Medical ninja is that they are usually female and heal people using Chakra. But i would like to know more about this puppetry ability. Where do you get puppet's and how do you form the chakra strings? Are they are to move appropriately? Do they have their own weapon's? Are the customizable?" Yua had so many question she was running low on breath she also noticed the younger girl who also seemed to be staring at the Mizukage, the girl didn't seem exactly happy, but Yua didn't know her they where not in the same class, mostly because Yua had joined the academy at an older age, and thus was separated from the younger children.
Yua sighed as she looked back at the Mizukage hoping that he would have answer's to all her question's and more she loved the idea of controlling a human like structure and making it do her work from a far. The idea of simply commanding another seemed like a tactic that would be difficult to master but, once mastered a great skill to have she had never seen a puppet user in all of the mist village, she could be the first if she found out how to get one and worked hard to get it under control but first she needed all the information she could get. Any info at this point was helpful.

’I shall fight to honor the name of Kaiten, the name of my father…
Erkamina felt her gaze matched by the Kage, if only for a second, proving that her killing intent wasn't completely checked by her desire not to be done in herself. But that was distracted by the discussion of puppetry. "Hm, an interesting subject but not a common one to discuss here in Kirigakure. But it takes too much refined chakra for my tastes, it's almost too medi-nin ish." She thought as she over heard some of the conversation, her curiosity burying the feeling of hatred beneath the thought of intrigue and novelty. She now looked at the book, it seemed to be a basic one. "Perhaps it wasn't covered well enough to satiate her curiosity, sir..." She hissed the 'sir' as if it was poison to say it, but it was necessary to maintain being on this side of the dirt and not be sleeping with the sharks, so to speak. So she maintained her 'innocence' for his eyes. Those... Strange eyes that seemed so foreign, so- well she didn't even know the word for it. "What's with those eyes... They're definitely not normal... It's like they reflect all light and yet see everything... I wonder..." She thought as she went from hatred to observance, trying to piece together the puzzle that was the Mizukage. Perhaps he wasn't... No, he was, she was sure of it, her heart told her that inaction was the same as guilt.

Quote: Sorain literally can read your mind, I have the jutsu for it. But for the sake of rp I just have him read your emotion. Just dont want you to think that I am metagaming or godmodding by knowing your emotion. Sorain sighed to himself, what the hell was the purpose of having an academy if the students came out with this many questions on principle. Knowing how to make and use a puppet, sure that might be a little bit out of a academy students reach, but at least the concept of how to go about formulating one should have been touched if not briefly. Sorain momentarily paused from his conversation with Yua while he thought of a simple way to explain everything to her without having to go into extreame detail. In all actuality puppets were very complex and diserved a class of their own to fully discuss.
For the moment he turned his focus to the female that seemed to be snarling at him, of course she was keeping a false smile but through his years of experiance not to mention his mental connections with the people around him, she was obviously not as she seemed. He was almost amused at the idea that this chick really through that she was putting on a front that could fool the Mizukage, sure he had dismissed it before. But now there was no one near them but himself, his followers, yua and her. Simple process of elimination could tell him that this negitive wave of emotion was coming from her. He had been in this world for over 40 years, if by now he did not know how to read people then it would have been a waste of many years of wisdom. But he figured he would let it ride, her qualms with him were unimportant, either she would hold this grudge to her death, or she would simply let it go. The only variable in that was how she would die or how soon she would let it go. Sorain smirked to himself as he found his old personality coming back to him.
"Well then" he said to Erkamina, "I suppose ill just have to teach her myself." He said giving a cross look to Yua, "Starting today" He said before returning his gaze to Erkamina, " Is there something that I can help 'youu' with?" He said, almost sarcastically. He was a higher up and as such as held to a much greater standards of ethics, but at the end of the day he was still Sorain and he would not be spoken too crossly by a genin. his mind serged as he focused his eyes upon her, filling itself with flashes of emotion and rage, painting pictures of destruction and woe. Her life would be filled with great misery and disappointment should she stay on the path of spite that she had the misfortune of stumbling upon. It was sad, but not sad enough for Sorain to take pity, what ever it was that she held such resentment for he would not cater to it, this was not leaf, this was no sand, this was Mist. A place where such raw emotion meant little more than a an over sized weight attached to a warriors feet. Useless, and costly as she would eventually learn.

Yua continued to listen and wait for the Mizukage's answer about the puppet's she also looked at the other girl, she was young, in every form of the word, it was the easiest way to describe her, she obviously was holding something back it was barely visible to Yua, but that's only because Yua read body language well. She had to since in the academy she was not exactly popular form multiple reason's one may have been the fact that she found both women and men attractive, it but a tiny barrier between her and most other people. But she never really cared she liked who she was and now she was getting a chance to improve on herself and add more to who she was.
She looked back at the Mizukage with much anxiousness, and excitement in her light blue eyes as she waited for his answer, when he spook she was excited but when he said starting today her jaw nearly dropped. "Your...taking me on as a student?" She said a little flabbergasted, a student of the Kage was a lucky person indeed generally most became the next Kage in the line, either that or great war hero's or even founded their own nations, the best training one could receive was from someone who had been handed the title Kage.

Quote: I know that, she doesn't. That's why her thoughts are so easy to read. If she knew she'd hide them further down than she does. No worries, I've read his profile, I know he's a Hyuuga. ’I shall fight to honor the name of Kaiten, the name of my father…
Erkamina looked confused as the Mizukage said he'd take on a student. That wasn't normally done, even for the brightest of students. It wasn't proper. But then again, this man was a mystery, the way he acted was so much different then she'd expected. She was taken out of her thoughts by a sarcastic remark from the man, at which she shook herself loose of his strange ways. "Uh... Actually yes, there is." She said quickly, trying to think of a way to ask the questions that were riddling her. Why would be a good start but she started with a simple one. "Firstly, if a shinobi were to, say- go missing, what would you personally do?" She asked as she felt his eyes drill into her as two clouds- filled with rain and ready to pour their truest intent onto the sorry land below. She stepped back one step, just enough to show she had yielded to him, for now. The feelings still remained but not as raw and tangible as before, now they were starting to get buried under a pile of what-ifs. Perhaps this man wasn't guilty, perhaps he didn't know at all about her father, his disappearance. So many unanswered questions in the quagmire, only one way to get them, struggle for them; struggle for her name in this void of whispering voices...

For the moment Sorain was forced to temporaryly ignore his conversation with Yua, the qualms that this girl had with him were becoming more and more apparent. Sorain turned to face her fully, taking a step closer to match her step back, "You seem to be very curious about the workings of Kirigakure. I suppose that is a good thing" He said rubbing his chin before finnaly deciding that he would humor her wishes and induldge her senseless inquiry, "If a ninja was to go missiong from our country? What you will learn in this life is that nothing is every so black and white. There are many things that would effect the actions to be taken. If say, someone went missing during a mission due to unforseen events then a search would be made, however.." He paused, "There are circumstances where a ninja that has gone missing would be labled as a traitor, an outcast, and be hunted, brought back and face trial.. Or, they might simply be killed on sight, such is the rules of our country." He said bluntly, "Kirigakure's shinobi force is not some rag tag helper squad, we are an army and as such, going missing from us is illegal. A proper search would be made and upon investigation they would either be labeled as Missing In Action, or as a traitor. Though neither matters much, no one has ever successfully escaped Kirigakure under my watch. " He ended. His eyes began to formulate a black symbol as he reached outward into her mind, "You would be wise to continue your inquisition away from my watch." He said before folding his arms back into his sleeves and standing up erect, "Delete your qualms about missing ninja, it might be your job one day to hunt them without question." as he finished off his answer to her he made sure to not distract his gaze what so ever, waiting for her to make the slightest facial expression, even a twitch of the eye could tell him much more than she wanted him to know. "Any further questions?"

’I shall fight to honor the name of Kaiten, the name of my father…
Erkamina continued to listen to the Kage's words, trying to sense a lie underneath it all. From his tone, he was telling the truth. But when he went into the divisions of action her eyes went wide. "So he doesn't know..." She thought as he went into the explanation about Missing Nins and traitors. "That's not exactly what I meant. I was actually referring to going missing outside of their own will, being kidnapped. But your explanation suffices to answer what I was trying to achieve... Thank you." She said sincerely, bowing softly at the man before looking at him in the eye again. "I judged you incorrectly, as they..." She swept her hand towards the classroom swiftly, indicating where the students had sat just two days prior "just as they misjudged me. I should know better." She muttered the last part, looking somewhere between his eyes and his forehead. "All I know is that no one would go willingly and leave their weapon at the gate, would they?" She asked openly, fiddling with the hilt to indicate that she retained said object as testament to her mission. One less name found itself on her list of enemies, for now. Wait, did she hear the words 'your inquisition' come from his lips. "Wait a second, how did you know about that? I've never told anyone of my ultimate goal..."

Yua stood and listened to the conversation not caring much about what they where saying it was non of her business anyway as she went and put the book back and adjusted her fishnet elbow cover, she made her way back slowly. Since the conversation did not concern her she was taking her time to think more about this puppet mastery thing, if she could design them then maybe she could tactfully make a small army of them, each with their own special use, as a ninja her knowledge of weaponry and their use's where very keen so her thought's ranged from poison gas launcher's ti trap set's to even seeker's and more deadly abilities her's puppet's could possess. She even Wondered if she could make the puppet look like herself, and she could hide that would be amazing to trick someone from a far and have a weapon do all the work for her, could make thing increadably interesting, to even have detachable parts so they could attack separately, but it all would take a lot of chakra refinement but she had always had more chakra than the regular student so this should be no trouble, she finely returned to the two and they had seemed to have finished their conversation, Yua made a slight coughing sound to draw attention back to herself. "So then Master Mizukage, shall we get to work, we are killing daylight and i would like to learn as much as possible on my first day." Yua said with a slight smile she was dead serious about getting started on her newest project.

Sorain paused for a moment, this girl obviosuly had a lot of passion for what ever it was that she was concerned about, though he simply had no idea. Sorain had been gone for an excess of at least 10 years he figured. What on earth could have happened that was so bad to put this kind of rage into such a young persons heart, "Leaving their weapon does sound interesting enough to look into. Im sure there must be something in our archives about such a person. Maybe if you prove yourself worthy through actions you will be given the permission to them" He said, ending the conversation at that. He really had no interest in her problems he just hated the idea of shrugging them off. It seemed that some where in her past she feels as though she was wrong and the least that he could do was calm her mind with these short but vauge answers, it was all he had to offer her at this point, which sher would literally have to take or leave. He was not here to deal with the mental cases of warriors, what ever it was she needed to realize that she was a Ninja, she was a solider, and more importantly, she was one in a million. How many young genin enter the Shinobi world with problems with their past, hatrid and revenge swelled, dead parents, lost siblings, being put down as a child, being abandoned, there were so many things that troubled the minds and hears of Shinobi and she was no different and no special. As much as he hated to allow her to boil in the water her hatred was heating he knew that she would need to learn to deal with it, like everyone else.
"Yes Yua, let us begin. Follow me..." He turned to Erkamina, "You too, if you wish to prove yourself that is" He said before turning around and walking placidly away.

Yua smirked at how calm he was in his words for her to follow so she simply did, placing her hands behind her back and walking along next to him she was eager and not normally like this normally she was colder, and more restrained but she was to excited to hold it in she was going to learn something completely foreign to her and try and master it. Yua was also Curious about the other girl but that was none of her business so she did not bother to ask but rather tried to avoid the conversation.
Yua strode along beside the Mizukage, and finally decided to speak after they walked for sometime. "So where does one acquire a puppet or do you have to make them yourself? Also if you make them yourself how does one go about learning to make one?" She said trying to sound much smarter than she was but failing slightly at it, she decided after hearing herself talk that way that she would no longer act , it was always best to just be herself. She strode along waiting for the Mizukage's answer.

Sitting on a bench on the side of the somewhat busy road sat a hooded figure, watching as people hurried by to do whatever errands they were out to do. The hustle and bustle of the capital was still so different for Maya, despite the fact that she had spent a good amount of time here in the academy when she was younger. This was probably because even when she was younger she had opted to stay inside and study her scrolls.
Maya had just gotten back in town only a couple of hours ago, returning from her post in a small village on the outskirts of mist. She was not told why she was relocated, but she supposed it could be something to do with a shortage of healers. She was not scheduled to report in for a couple of more hours, so for now she would relax and waste her time watching others hurry about. Maya's large scroll and paintbrush, a tell-all sign it was indeed her for those that knew maya, sat beside her on the bench making some people glance over curiously.
Holding one of her palms upwards, with the finger of her other hand Maya began to doodle idly, making pictures of butterflies on her palm. As soon as she finished the last line of the butterflies, the ink lifted right off of her hand and fluttered around her. From a distance, once couldn't really tell they were made of ink, but if you were close enough, or observant enough you would be able to tell that she had brought the ink to life. Maya watched as the Ink butterfly fluttered about, before slowly flying off and around the people who were walking on the road before her.

Sorain returned his focus to Yua, "Just follow me, I will take you to our armory and see if their is a basic puppet that we can test out. Tell me how you like it, if it suits you the Kirigakure army will supply you with one. It is the duty of the village to ensure that its soldiers are properly fitted. With the exams approching you will be representing us, and I expect you to do so with pride. Besides.." He said, attempting humor, "Cant have you walking around the chunin exams with a study book in your hand." he said with a fake smile, socializing was not his best ability. "Now come" He said turning and walking away yet again. As he continued he noticed a butterfly flutter by his face, something that might not look odd to another, but to him was obviously off. There were no butterflies in Kirigakure, it was entirely too humid for a butterfly to thrive here not to mention the fact that this island was technacly tropical, the various reptilian wild life would see an end to them in no time. Sorain looked through his milky white eyes and traced the trail of chakra emitting from the butterfly to a near by bench where a women in a kimono sat idly. Her chakra was surging rapdily, and her body held many points of flow indicating that she was no rookie, of Jounin level at least. This was curious to say the least. Sorain walked over to her, "Hello. Who might you be?"

Yua grinned widely at the idea of getting a test puppet, but when he said they would supply one her grin faded, if they just gave her one it wasn't really her's she wanted to design and build her own Puppet but her own hands into the work, not fiddle with someone else's work, she truly wanted to own every part of this craft, but then her mind drifted when she heard him mention the exam's, she was already suited to be in the Chunin exam's she had just graduated granted she was older than other Genin, but was she really ready for such a task or did the Mizukage just believe in her that much. She grinned a bit as she continued to walk and slightly chuckled the the kage's attempt of a joke or rather what she assumed was a joke she wasn't a book worm by any extent of the word just books where the easiest way to get information, thats why she used them, but then again in this day an age basically anyone with an over average reading level was considered a book worm, so she just let it go with a false smile and laugh.
Yua also noticed the butterfly and smiled at first watching it fluter but then the thought occurred to her that she had never seen a butterfly, so why would there be a lone one out here, she turned to ask the Mizukage but he was already approaching a girl Yua caught up and then smirked as she got a better look at the woman on the bench she looked to be a bout Yua's age, she was also rather beautiful, and Yua let her eyes scan the girl she smirked a little and stood back a bit listening to the conversation.

As soon as Maya saw someone was approaching she tensed slightly. She was never really all too sociable, though she did try her best. Her books were all she cared about when she was younger, and as such she was suffering from it now by her lack of social skills.
It didn't take Maya long to identify who the person approaching her was, and once she realized who it was she was caught somewhat off guard. Getting to her feet quickly before he arrived she politely bowed once he reached her. Removing her hood once she stood back up the first thing most people would notice was her Red hair. The backdrop of Mist usually only served to make the color seem more intense. "Maya Hanagawa, Mizukage-sama. I just recently arrived to the Capital because I was requested back from my post. I still am unaware to the reasoning though, my briefing isn't for another few hours." Her voice was soft and Melodic, though still very polite. Her Dark eyes never met his completely, showing a sort of submission and that she was feeling somewhat nervous.
From her peripheral vision Maya noted the Mizukage was accompanied by a girl who seemed to be around her age. She wondered why the Mizukage was out and about with her, but then again it wasn't any of her business. Maya couldn't help but fiddle with the sleeve of her Kimono while chatting with the Mizukage, something to distract her from the gaze of both him and the girl. She was more of an observer and never really liked it much being observed herself.

Sorain listened and nodded at her bow, "Ah your the new medic then." He said scanning her up and down, that made sense, her chakra flow did show signs of a natural medical ninja. This was good, though he expected someone a bit older, "Good, I was expecting you. Your briefing begins now.. You are to stay with me. There is a great deal more that I need to tell you but it cant be said in mixed company so the details of your assignment will have to wait. Al you need to know right now is, you are to accompany me at all times. There will be occasions when I station you else where but by default your post will be where ever I am. Understood?" He asked her bluntly. He really had every intention of getting to know her but he really had enough of being socially friendly for today. Business as usual. "Yua, have you put any thought into the design of the puppet?" He question over his shoulder to break the period of silence between speaking to Maya and her reply. Wasted time was shameful.
