1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?

I've taken a couple of writing course but I'm not an avid reader. I mostly read software manuals and instructional books. But I do write poetry sometimes and would like to post them here so they could be critiqued. ^^

2) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?

Get better at writing poetry maybe.

3) Anything else you want us to now about you?

I also do short stories. Very short stories. : (

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?
Well I don't really have like a hard core experience out side of the normal schooling and half of a Collage class (in a few months to be a full collage class TwT). My real experience comes from the day dream writing I do when I'm board and the many roleplays I've participated in over the years. I've also got a wide range of literary works logged into my brain over many readings.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
As I wont really be having a whole lot of time between work and school, I'll probably just post school work to get a bit of critic and critic others. If time frees up I may venture outside of that though.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
The biggest thing I would like to learn is how to get over writers block, it has infected my brain at the moment. XP

4) Anything else you want us to now about you?
-I have been working on my own Novel since 8th grade.
It has gone under many revisions and you are very unlikely to get to read it.
-I love to roleplay, though I rarely have time, and get board with most roleplayers after a few days.
-I'm not a huge fan of Fanfiction as most lacks creativity and real plot.
-I have over 100 Original Characters...many of who I persue art of.
-I have almost like a bi-polar aditude toward criticing; give me a submissive additue willing to learn and I'll jump through hoops to help you.Wine and complain and I'll b***h at you... =x=
-I am lazy!
-I'm a little OCD for good grammer and spelling, but I don't jump people that I can tell are trying.
So yeah, I think that's about all you need to know.

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?
Reading was my first love. I've been writing for at least seven years-- mostly short stories and fanfiction. whee I've started many pieces and finished few, but I write almost every day. It can be anything off the top of my head, or adding on to an existing work... If I'm writing, I'm happy. At the moment I am (unfortunately, I think) fixated on writing Real People Fiction, something I swore I would never ever do... But I, for better or for worse, have an extremely active imagination, and said imagination is running off with this little group and staying with them. And honestly, I'm happy when I write about them. That's really all I want.
Oh, I'm the beginner of beginners on critiquing, sadly.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
Hey, I'm not picky. I like the whole place. blaugh Probably the classrooms. Then Fanfiction.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
Um. Write better. XP Work a bit more on original things, I guess. Some folks say fanfiction is a crutch of sorts, but... I can't help it, it just keeps sucking me in. Because I really like writing it *cough* >.>;

4) Anything else you want us to now about you?
Ren The Ryoko invited me here, so thank you, Ren!
I've been homeschooled all my life and proud! Trying to figure out college stuff now. And, um... I love Nintendo. And I'm a twin... uh, I was a twin. ehehe ^_^U

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? (unofficial stuff on the side like hobbies counts too. Don't be afraid to say you're just getting interested in writing if that is the case.)
I don't have much experience as a writter. It's mostly a hobbie. i've entered a contest in our local news paper once. but that's all.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
I'll probably in the classroom most of the time because i'm here to improve and learn new things aren't I ? smile

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
One of the jobs I have in mind for after college would be an Author. So I would love to improve in this department now, to see how I would do in the futur.

4) Anything else you want us to now about you?
-I am french, so please bare with me as I am doing my best effort in not making any mistakes.
-i'm in eight grade
-I have began plenty of original and fan-fiction story's. But i've blocked in most of them and never got to finishing them.

Hi, I'm KaylersBaylers and I'm a write-aholic

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?

Well, let's see. Writing became a hobby of mine when I was in fifth grade after I found the wonderous world of roleplaying! I fell in love with creating alternate worlds and versions of myself. In that way I slowly graduated to writing original stories and posting them on the internet. As far as the critiqueing area- well I stalked several writing forums for several years and have offered quite a few little tips and opinions. My grammar is not the best but I try my best to help with proof reading in my limited knowledge.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?

Well I have been and always will be a writer at heart. I love all sorts of literature so I can't really say where I'll spend most of my time. In fact most of my time will probably be spent drifting from the place to place and lurking in the shadows, trying to find a lost gem of a story.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?

I always look for improvement but I'm also hoping for a bit of respect. After spending time in the WF I've found that many people have lost that. In fact I'm willing to bet that I might just post of my works here from now on and leave that unwelcoming place behind. Hopefully with the skilled artists here, I might blossom even more and have encouragement to not want go back to the safety of being a mere bud.

4) Anything else you want us to now about you?

I look for the positive because if you don't then you'll only have negative things to remember. So please help me in keeping this guild a positive thing for me to experience.

Oh! I also like pocky, chocolate milk, and sweet oranges. =)

OZ

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?

I've been writing stuff since I was twelve. I've taken one writing class, read a few creative writing books. I'm currently helping three people write original and fan fiction while I work on my own stories.

2) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?

It depends on what I learn or what I get back in touch with. But the general purpose is to ultimately better myself as a writer.

3) Anything else you want us to now about you?

I've lately enjoyed the works of JR Ward, Hunter S. Thompson, and Mark Z. Danielewski.

I like both real and fantasy original stories.

I like poetry too but it's been a very long time since I wrote a poem.

I'm writing two large fanfics right now as well as outlining an original story.

I tend to read and write fanfiction to less popular fandom.

I like long-chapter fanfics as long as I know the fandom.

I like crack fics.

I don't like oneshots very much.

Toka Was Here

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?

Uh, well as far as critiquing I have absolutely no real experience. I like to read stories I find interesting, and I try to include things that I think that interest readers of my fan-base in my writing.
As far as writing goes, I've been writing and roleplaying for about 1 1/2 years now. I write a couple of my own original stories and a few fanficitons.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?

Most of my time will most likely spent in the writer's section; since critique isn't really my thing.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?

I want to use the experience and advice I get from this guild to help better my writing. I don't plan on being a famous author or anything, but I plan on making my own video games some day. I feel you should know at least a little about writing stories and that will help me to make games with interesting story lines in my games.

4) Anything else you want us to now about you?

I roleplay and I'm an avid gamer. Uh other than that, get to know me if you wanna know anything else. <3

1)What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? (unofficial stuff on the side like hobbies counts too. Don't be afraid to say you're just getting interested in writing if that is the case.)
First time actually publishing stuff, but I get all of my critiquing skills from all sorts of prose that I read which include regular novels, manga and fanfiction.

2)What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
I am mostly interested in the part of the guild in which you get your work judged by other people, who then give you advice on how to make it better.

3)What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
I want to use the skills I get from this guild to perfect my writing skills in hopes that one day I will be able to write a well-structured original work, rather than just fanfiction all the time.

4)Anything else you want us to now about you?
I am an otaku that judges a story by its plot and character development. This is why I always refer to anime and manga for inspiration.

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?

I have honestly been writing since I was a little kid, started with dreams and stuff then just used my imagination to build on that. I vaguely critique but only because I use it to compare others to mine...I'm such a loser emo

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?

I want to be critiqued very badly, I want some of my writing to be good enough to publish someday; that's been a dream of mine since I started writing...I will try to stay away from critiquing others, I kind of suck at it sweatdrop

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?

Use it to improve my writing hopefully to an author's level sometime in my life.

4) Anything else you want us to now about you?

I'm weird and random, you'll just have to deal with it :3

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?

I don't have much experience as a writer per-say because I don't write very much. But I am very good at writing and what I do write ends up very good. I'm a good critic though because I have an analytic mind. I don't have much experience but I'm always noticing things people do good and ways they can improve.

2) what part of the guild interests you the most?

The fact that I'll be in a safe environment where people aren't going to just point out EVERY tiny mistake in my writing. And that posting my writing in an environment like this might help me cope with my fear of writing and judgment.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?

I want to use what I do in the guild to help me over come my fear of writing and judgment. I'm going to use the skills to express myself artisticly through my writings.

4) anything else you want us to know about you?

I have a phobia about writing in general because I had a very bad experience with my teacher in 3rd grade. I tried to meet her un-realistic writing expectations and I tried to get 0 mistakes. I of course couldn't and it got to where she'd mark when my handwriting would go below the line by a centimeter. After 3rd grade, aka hell, I couldn't write more than one word without breaking my pencil and soaking my page with my tears.

I've come a long way since then but I still get nervous/paranoid when I think about doing writing or when I feel like some one is telling me I HAVE to do something. That doesn't mean you can't tell me how to make my work better but just be sure to tell me that you THINK it would be better rather than just pointing it out.

I struggle with O.C.D. and overly criticise everything I do to the point I get frustrated with things. So I really could use an environment that shows it's not going to be like it was before. I'm excited and kind of nervous about starting writing and having other people read it. sweatdrop I'm very apprehensive about starting this so if you could all take it easy on me, at least until I feel more confident I'd be happy.
It may take some extra encouragement for me to feel comfortable writing so pointing out more of the good than bad would help me A LOT. I'm paranoid about thinking people expect me to be perfect when they point something out that I did so just be sure to tell me it wasn't what you meant if I take something the wrong way and then tell me what you meant. Thanks...

P.S. I'm a guy in real life, I just like having a girl avatar. I like the clothes a lot better and it's easier to express myself that way.

P.S.S. I've had to re-write this 4 times I feel kinda upset now because gaia logged me out and wouldn't let me post it. It wanted me to sign in but it wouldn't let me. Then I tried to go back and EVERYTHING WAS ERASED. So now it's not perfect so you'll just have to DEAL WITH IT!!! I know, I"m the only one thinking it's not perfect but I feel like my words aren't right now so I just want to erase it all and never post again but I'm not going to do that because that's what this is all about for me.

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?

I am a serious poet. (When I'm not writing fanfics) I have taken many poetry conferences and won a contest with my poetry. I'm currently my friend's "editor" for her many stories.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?

I have to admit, fanfictions will most likely be where I spend a lot of time. I can't help it, they're just so much fun.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?

I am hoping to broaden my vocabulary and grammar skills. For my age, I'm a little above average and I want those to go waay up.

4) Anything else you want us to now about you?

I am very, very obsessed with Kingdom Hearts. I am sorry, but it will come out a lot.
I just read Through A Looking Glass, so if my writing is a little Carrol-ish I apologize.

Experience. Hehe. Right. I'm an amateur writer with little to no "experience".
2) what part of the guild interests you the most?
I'll guinea pigs to read my writings and give input back.
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
Hehehehehehe. You may never know.
