Hero followed her motion to eye the small pile of shells she had already found - it seemed she had found quite a few while he had been looking for his, of course she had started before him too he reminded himself and well - none of them were as large as his shell. Size mattered right? Of course it did.
It seemed it really did because no sooner was she telling him where to put the shell then she was asking for his help. His help!...Not any of the other pack members but his! The thought made him puff up a little, she must really really like the turtle shell - if he'd know it was this easy to get her attention he would have started bringing her things a long time ago. "Oh..well of course I'll help Abyss, it would be my pleasure" He told her, his voice getting a somewhat goofy tone to it when she walked along him and brushed him with her tail before picking up the turtle shell and trotting over to deposit it where he had indicated.
Turning he went to inspect the rock "It's certainly pretty!" He told her as he looked at it "But not as pretty as you" He concluded with another goofy look before he tried to pick up the rock with a slight grunt at the weight. Deer dung it was heavy...but he could't fail after Abyss had asked him to help and so straining a little he lifted the rock and tottered off in the direction of her den as quickly as he could without dropping the rock.

She let her smirk stay on her maw as Hero set about to his task. Abyss had no doubt in her mind that he wouldn't help. She may have never found a male to settle down with, but she certainly knew how to get them to do things for her. "Thank you Hero dear." Abyss called out to him as he began to carry the rock towards her den.
Now, she would have to gather her shells and carry them back as well. The sight of the turtle shell made her shudder. It certainly would not be used in her castle of shells once she started to build it again. But - her head tipped to the side in thought. It certainly would make carrying all the other shells much easier. Padding over to the pile of shells she flipped the turtle shell over so that it could act as a carrying device. Then carefully Abyss placed the other shells inside of it. Once all the shells were loaded up she picked up the turtle shell and turned towards her den. As she began to make her way home Abyss prayed that no one would see her carrying this horribly ugly shell - even if it did have it's purposes for now.
