Ily watched as the dragon plushie fell towards her, catching it easily right as Damon and a strange lady she figured to be Phoebe’s mom ran over. Drat! They’d probably have to leave soon just by how angry the lady looked. Attempting to look as innocent as possible, the little girl turned and grinned sheepishly at Damon. “Hai daddy! Lookie what we fownd! Dis and dat awre Phoebe’s an’ dat teddy bear is mine! Can I get it daddy? Pweeeeeeaaaaaase?” she asked, trying to look as cute and innocent as possible.

Damon just sighed, wondering if he could somehow help the situation by-No, no that would be a bad idea to be put simply. “What? Oh... I dunno Ily, you-“

“Pweeeeaaaase?” He sighed, knowing he couldn’t exactly argue with her. “Fine. I’m sorry about everything and if you want, I could buy the toys she wants since this is mostly my fault,” Damon offered, apologizing to Jadyn and looking embarrassed at the whole situation and how badly it had gotten out of hand... in a sense anyways.

Ily glanced between the dragon plushie and ballerina doll, pondering the question. "Th' dwagon is cool an' yew climb'd th' shelves for it tew," she replied, knowing that it would've been the one she chosen if she had the choice. "But t' doll is pwetty tew an' stuff," she added thoughtfully, unsure.

Damon nodded, still feeling like the whole shelf incident was his fault. Phoebe could have gotten seriously hurt if she fell, which would have been pretty back. However, he hadn't and was basically off the hook and with the two girls seeming to be friends he was sure that meant they would be spending more time together. And that meant he could get better acquainted with Jadyn given a little bit of time.

Ily cheered as Phoebe chose the dragon plushie and then got her mom to let her keep it. “Yay!” she giggled, jumping up and down happily. “Good chowce,” she added, snuggling her teddy close. If Phoebe got to have her dragon plushie, Damon HAD to let her have Teddy, right? Hugging the plush tighter, the little spawn flashed Phoebe a wide grin. “Dey showd pway together sometime,” came her suggestion, really wanting to spend more time with her friend than play with their new toys.

Damon just smiled, knowing it had to be tough for the dark elf to endure the similarly hyperactive child. And yet, even during those harsh moments where all you really wanted to do was send them back to that horrid facility, deep down there was that feeling that you couldn’t. They were hard to handle in their own ways, but they still had their good moments. Some had them more than others but hey, the good always outweighed the bad right?

Ily stared back at Phoebe, a serious expression also entering her face after seeing how important her friend’s question was to her. A couple moments passed before the spawn nodded firmly. “Course. Why woul’n’ I?” she asked softly, as if the idea was the cruelest thing ever conceived. “C’mon, le’s go,” she added with a grin, the usual playfulness returning quickly after offering her new friend her response.

“They get along quite well. Not that I’m surprised; she seems to make friends with everybody,” Damon muttered to Jadyn, smiling down at the two. Ah, there was that proud feeling he got whenever Ily made a new friend.

Damon didn't have to look down to know Ily was giving him the same look. Not to mention he could feel her arms wrapped around his one leg. "Pwease Daddy? Pwease pwease pwetty pwease?" she whined, tugging gently on his shirt.

"I'm alright with it so long as everything remains intact and nothing is lit on fire or something," Damon replied with a soft chuckle, finding the thought amusing.

"YAY! Yews hear tha' Phoebe? We's can pway!" Ily grinned, bouncing happily while snuggling her new teddy bear.

Ily gasped as Phoebe fell down during her dance. "Yew ok Phoebe?" she asked worriedly. She didn't sound hurt... "Ev'rybody falls down, no need t' cry," she said softly, pretending to slip and fall as well. "See?" she giggled, realizing how much bigger everything looked from the floor.

"Woah! Wook! Ev'rythin's HUGE from hewe..." she gasped, staring up at Damon who looked exceedingly embarrassed at how she was acting. And yet, it was almost predictable...

"An' over dere are giants!" Ily added, pointing to the various adults that wandered around that did indeed appear to be giants.

Damon nodded. "Yeah, but we should be going. It's getting kind of late," he replied, knowing Ily had heard him since she gave him a big-eyed pleading look.

"Five more minu's? Pwease?" she whined, pleading for more time to play with her friend. Which was no use as someone came on over the PA announcing the store would be closing in twenty minutes.

Ily nodded as she stood up, grinning happily at the thought of playing more with her friend. “Yeah! Lots an’ lots! Bai Phoebe,” Ily replied, hoping that they WOULD meet again and have just as much fun as they had today.

“C’mon Ily, let’s go.” Damon muttered, half dragging the girl to the registers by the hand. At least she wasn’t fighting tooth and nail to stay and play with her friend some more.
