Sort of an odd question if you ask me. neutral I see almost nothing wrong with it other than mild violence. Some sweet battle scenes in it! xd heart

Tisn't a bad movie at allll...
If you've already played Final Fantasy 7,
And already like Final Fantasy stuff, it doesn't matter.
I mean as long as you don't get into the weird movie religion,
Which I'm sure you won't...
There's nothing bad about it.

There are some extremely anti-movie people I know
Who would say that it's of Satan himself
But they don't get out much...

I hope there are people out there who know about Final Fantasy Advent Children because I need advice. I really want to watch the new movie but I'm not sure if I should see it or not. I just want to do what a Christian would do and make the right desicions. Can anyone help me out?

xd lol Oh please!! I've seen Advent Children and I dunno maybe I'm crazy, but I notice Christian elements in it. So of COURSE you can see it, silly! It's not even as bad as Pirates of the Carribean and that was Disney >.>...

Well, it's fiction. As long as you can realise the difference between what is not real (advent children) and what is real (God) then you're good to go.

I would personally reccomend the movie. It's very good.

no. It doesn't work that way. I know that from experience. Just because you know the truth, doesn't mean you won't be sucked into an un-godly (insert sin here).

I thought I could watch Inuyasha (anime about demons and time travel) as long as I knew that it was wrong and fake; as long as I knew that God was the way, the truth, the light.

I was sorely mistaken. The bible says that you cannot serve two masters, meaning you can't be christian and still do ungodly things. No matter what. I was serving two masters. God and my own foolish desires.

I ended up feeling soul-less and empty. (I was raised christian. I wasn't used to being without God.) I started to loose the tenuous hold I had on my mental faculties. (going crazy.) I was on the verge of suicide.

I never want to feel that way again.

I figured out, probably at the last second, that I was being sinful and needed to give up on Inuyasha.

I'm not tooting my own horn about something I did when I was 12.
I'm 18.
This happened just last week.

I'll pray that you figure it out on your own. I hope you'll pray for me too. I'm still having trouble keeping away from Inuyasha.

"The bible says that you cannot serve two masters, meaning you can't be Christian and still do ungodly things."

I would say the passage refers to worshiping two gods
like God and the Queen of Heaven

possibly, but I'm not up on my bible(for obvious reasons^), so I could be wrong.

But it's all up to your interpretation right?

Final Fantasy Advent Children is one of the best movies I have ever seen in my lifetime (span of 17 years. I am 17). If everyone says its good and says that it can't infringe on your beliefs then I'd say watch it. Unless you haven't play FF7. Then you should at least play the game first. Of course there is a feature on the DVD that goes through most of the cutscenes of the game but it'd be better if you played the game at least...
