Nitrox Dragon Nitrox's Random Puzzle:Pokemon mathematics: Substitute the following numbers and solve. (Question duration= 2 days) (A+B)/C*D+E The quantity A plus B divided by C times D plus E. (Basically just work left to right) A "The base stat total of the Fire Johto Starter" B "# of Johto starter based off of a real mammal" C "Johto starters evolve at this level (stage 1>2)" D "TM # of the one move that every fully evolved starter (except Gen 1 Venusaur) can learn" E "Johto starters evolve at this level (stage 2>3)"
If we're counting evolutions, the formula is:
(309+3)/16*5+(36+30+32) <- Be more specific on which one? Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr evolve at different levels.
Ergo, 312/16*5+36+30+32
19.5*5+36+30+32 -> 97.5+36+30+32= 195.5.
If we're not counting evolutions, the formula changes to:
310/16*5+36+30+32
19.375*5+36+30+32 -> 96.875+36+30+32 = 194.875
I do wish you'd be more specific, though. :/ I'm assuming that variable A is just for Cyndaquil.

According to this now imperfect source, there is only one TM that each starter can learn. I want the TM number, which is Like Focus Punch = 01. B is the National Dex number of the first evolution Johto starter that is a mammal.

I realized that Meganium couldn't Roar. The TM number has been fixed. I kept in the original 26 that you said, unless you want me to correct that, as well.

And Nitrox has obviously noticed, because he put up that you're the winner of the latest puzzle. Now, i wonder what the next one'll be. I may have nabbed a black one that can represent any of my Masters of Darkness (Ansem (Giratina), Darkrai, or my Dreaded Arceus), but a red one for Axel (my Infernape) would be nice...
EDIT: I have to ask this (it is on topic). Does anyone besides me (and some others I've seen answer it) think that the HG/SS guide book will be BIGGER than Platinum's? Seriously, you all know how big Platinum's was, right? They stuffed in all of Sinnoh, both Pokedexs with info on all 493-Arceus, the contests, Battle Frontier, a guide to raising strong Pokemon, Underground info, a link play guide, and other miscellaneous stuff including item lists, type charts, and the legend rematch info. Phew! That's a lot, huh? and you all remember how thick that bubby was.

Now, consider this. HG and SS have TWO whole regions to cover, info on the Pokeathlon, and Everything you need to know about the Pokewalker along with most of that stuff! Don't even try to tell me it won't be bigger, because I won't believe it until I see it for myself. And if it somehow, SOMEHOW manages to be even slightly smaller than the Platinum Guidebook, I will freak. Literally. I'll type up a whole journal entry filled with omgs and wtfs and all sorts of gibberish I don't normally use. Seriously. That's what I think. Anyone else care to guess/rant/dispute?
