As his momentary partner attacked the fridge for some possible sweet relief, 1337 began to scroll through his work. It wasn't like anybody else could see what he had been doing, but it was never a bad idea to double check one's own work. Despite only half paying attention to what his hand had been doing, it still seemed like he was doing a sufficient job.
Once he had finished his quick look over, he answered Hayes' question. "Dependin' on the person, yes it can be normal."
The dark-haired agent didn't offer any comment as to what to do to remedy this problem. Heck, he didn't even offer a basic "I am sorry for fooling you." He couldn't apologize for something he wasn't really sorry for. As if to make matters worse, 1337 plucked up the vial, dipped a finger from his free hand in, and simply licked it up without any problem at all.
"It's delicious, ain't it?" So said the visored man to the one promptly drowning himself in milk.

It still burned, but the sensation had ebbed from 'out of body experience' to merely overpowering.
"I'm sure it's an acquired taste," Hayes managed, and set the empty jug aside. Lord, that had been an experience, and not one he really felt like repeating. Maybe he'd just built up a tolerance to the stuff over the years (it was probably years,) or he felt the way Hayes just did all the time.
If that was so, it probably went some way toward explaining his behavior. Someone who quaffed hot sauce like it was water was also someone who would purposely aggravate their direct supervisor.
The blond found a paper napkin in the pizza box and wiped his fingers off. Then he picked up another napkin, did it again, and pushed them and the rest of his pizza slice toward the back of the box. Do not want.
Even when he bit into a fresh slice, the scant residue on his fingers sent another jolt through his system.
One thing was sure: he wouldn't be able to sleep for hours.
