Vega chuckled as Sakari pulled her into the house. Her curled tail swished behind her, a bright smile on her face as she gave a turn around to look around at the tabby's cozy little home. It had a strong 'home' feel to it and she didn't pay any mind to the few scattered pieces of clothing that Sakari tucked off to the side of her blankets. "It's just perfect. Everything you could need without the unnecessary things cluttering the place up or leaving you with more than you need." She paused her slow spin to meander into the kitchen area to peak up at the hole over the fridge. She smiled with a little flick of her tail. "Handy, that. Especially in the colder months, I could imagine." Vega held up the wrapped up tuna and shrimps. "Where do you want to eat? I wouldn't want to risk getting your bed dirty, unless you want to, of course."

"Alright. Your bed it is then. If we do get a bit messy I'll be sure to help clean up. It'd be rude if I didn't." Nodding with a warm smile, Vega took a seat on Sakari's bed, sitting cross legged with her tail loosely curled at one hip. Vega licked her lips and swallowed at being asked if she was thirsty. She was indeed. "I am. What all do you have?" She made an interested sound. "Well that's a handy thing then. Imagine if there was a cellar of some sort, then you'd be able to keep all sorts of stuff cool and preserved, if you wanted to keep some food as well." The Ringtail set the fish down and unwrapped it, leaving it sitting on the paper while she fished for the handful of bags of small dried shrimps.

Vega sat patiently while listening intently at what was available. At hearing a few good things, she looked over to Sakari with a smile. "Ooh, I think I'll have a tea please. That would be wonderful." She laughed softly at the answer to her worries over making a mess. "There you go! Using one meal to catch another! That's thinking ahead." The Ringtail brushed a stray strand of her hair back and away from her face as she angled her head, a smile still playing at her lips. "You must be doing okay though. You have a great little place and you don't appear to be wasting away, so no starvation and a roof over your head. Not a bad way to live. A cellar would mean more food, but also more space to have to keep an eye on."

Vega smiled and reached out to accept the tea that Sakari brought back for her. She leaned the can against her leg, not opening it just yet. Looking to the tabby, she chuckled softly. "Its a way to assure that there's always food around, if anything." The female scooted a little closer to Sakari and dragged the tuna a little closer as well. "Well, my thinking is...we can eat it however we want. For instance, if I wanted just a sliver of tuna," She paused to work a strip off, namely one of the outer rings of the meat of the tuna steak. Being an outer ring, it was longer than she intended for herself so she tore it in half and offered Sakari the half of a tuna strip, a smile on her face. "There doesn't have to be any rhyme or reason to how we do it, so long as it gets done." She grinned a bit. "The salty crispiness of the shrimp is actually quite good with the raw tuna." She nodded of grabbed one of the bags of small dried shrimps with her ring and middle finger with the hand that wasn't offering the tuna to Sakari.

Giving a bit of a laugh, Vega bowed her head slightly. "I hope I don't normally have that effect on people." She opened up a bag of her own, having grabbed plenty of the little packets of salty gems, and shook a couple out onto her own strip. She looked to Sakari when she spoke, an ear flicking as she listened. "Really? You had trouble? I hope not too much." She took a bite of her own tuna, watching for the tabby's reaction, her tail curling slightly tighter in contentment. She chewed and swallowed before speaking. "Isn't it?" She giggled. "I've always been one for trying new things. Experimenting and what not."

Vega chuckled and bowed her head to attempt to hide her blush. She took a few bites of her tuna and shrimp to try and focus her mind to keep herself from glowing. Flicking her ears a bit and looking to Sakari when she mentioned that there was a little something on her face. "Oh, do I? Can you..." The Ringtail angled her head a little when the tabby reached over to wipe a bit of tuna away from the side of her mouth. She blushed and smiled sheepishly, wiping her mouth on the back of her hand. "Heh, thanks." Vega shook her head. "Oh, no, I didn't mind at all. Little things can mean a whole world to someone. It shows people care." She blushed, cleared her throat, and lowered her gaze, again to attempt to hide her bright pink face behind her bangs. "I believe so, anyway."
