That's why my mum didn't let me take any time off in between (and I didn't have the money to travel like I wanted anyway.) She said she didn't care what I took or where, but I had to stay in school so that I wouldn't lose the habit.
I understand her thinking, but it's still a pain. I so want to be done with all my ge req classes so that I can transfer to an art school. * w*

My mom was actually the one to tell me to take a year off. She saw how stressed I was and said that I needed a break from an academic setting. Now I feel like it's actually my choice to go back to school and I'm not being forced. Plus it's only a two year school, but it has a good theatre program.

That's exactly why I needed the time off. I was really burned out by the end of high school, but my mum felt the summer was enough of a break. u xu;;
I hope you find yourself less stressed and enjoy school more. c:

Oh gosh, being sick is so not fun.
My mum was so kind as to pass on whatever icky cold she has, so I've been bed ridden and experiencing major sore throat.
I hope everyone else is in better spirits than me!
