kacisko Russian sports are going down since the Soviet Union died. They lost the figure skating olympic competition TOTALLY. Really... if our cross country team is able to beat Russia... Honestly, I could care less.
About the only sporting events I can find interesting are motorsports. Namely, the FIA World Rally, TARGA, and SCCA club racing.

I guess there was more talent in Ukraine than they wanted to admit razz LOL, that's probably true. Nevertheless, as in all post-communist countries, once the system changed there was less public money for sports. And the sports system needed time to adjust. Russians didn't get it on time (in most sports - we're not including hockey, soccer, basketball and volleyball) and they have the results today. Our ministry of sports still doesn't get it and despite that we just had the most successful winter olympics in history. But why is that? It's because we had two big stars who are total professionals with own teams, sponsors etc. (not mentioning their individual talents and craving for success).

Wait, yeah.
That's logical. Please disregard this temporary lapse, I was not in full possession of my cognitive faculties last night.
@Kas: Nah, I've never found Formula One all that interesting, with the exception of circuits like Monaco. Track racing in general is kinda dull, which is why I love rallying.

It happens to the best of us. But seriously I hear everyone say "I could care less" when they mean they couldn't care less. I just want to yell at them and shake them like a baby, I don't know why it bothers me so much, just like I don't know why mispronunciations bother me so much, but they do. Devildriver even made a song called "I Could Care Less". mad

WRONG way
Degree of care
----Threshold of apathy----
----Threshold of contempt---
RIGHT way:
Degree of care = ----threshold of apathy----
---threshold of contempt----
Also, I think the bolded was just a failed attempt at being clever. Or maybe not.
