"Chiron is right Aria," Kalahira answered. Before Aria could snap back, Kalahira said quickly, "I'm sure Percy will want us to stick around. Besides, my parents have shown no interest in my return anyway." The three went quiet for a moment.
"Well, Kalahira, i would love it if you displayed some of your magic to the Demi-God children out there," Chiron said awkwardly. Kalahira nodded slowly and stepped up onto the stage silently.
Up on the stage, Kalahira examined the crowd, looking at every single attenders face briefly. She felt a slight wave of relief when she noticed Percy, Annabeth and Grover in the crowd. Grover waved and Percy smiled. Annabeth scowled. Kalahira looked down then. As the wind swept through her long hair, she tilted her head back and then put her hands out in front of her. She spun them in circular maneuvres and small waves of fire followed her movements. They formed into a small ball then and then fell into the ground as she stroked the wooden podum with her fingertip. The flame flew out into a massive ring suddenly, and a tornado of fire sprouted around Kalahira. She made sure that the flame was cold so that nothing and no one would be hurt, but bewildered by her magic.
When the flame died out, she examined the shocked faces in the crowd. Her face fell as she remembered where she learnt her fire magic, and at that, she turned and stepped off the stage.
