Switch watched the two sets of Guardians, both attacked by their creatures and their need to be fed. The blue haired woman rubbed the back of her neck, then reached down to pat at her singed clothing, poking through one of the holes that had apparently burnt her skin. Her hand retracted with a hiss, and she wrapped her arms gingerly around herself.
"Sorry, the kids promised you'd feed them, it was the only way to get them to cooperate." The shock was wearing away, and now Switch was starting to hurt; her head hurt, her stomach hurt...she just...hurt. "Uhh...if you'll excuse me..." She flinched and shuffled away, heading upstairs briefly to get herself some painkillers and bandages, leaving the Guardians to do what they wanted.

Figures Evari would be behind something like this. Xai was about to beg Switch to take it instead but Switch was wandering away with a very pain-filled expression, frowning and sighing. Evari stared up at Xai with a huge grin on her face while the nutbar managed to free itself from her loosened fist to latch onto her headwing, nomming on it again. It didn't hurt but...it was rather bothersome. They were sensitive! She swat at it to get it away from her head, sighing again this time with irritation. "Please stop that...fine, fine. You can...come home with us..."
"WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" It shrieked with happiness right beside Xai's ear and caused the girl to flinch and put a hand over it. There was a strange ringing sound in that ear now, she'd have to find out why it was doing that later. Evari cheered as well while clapping her hands and shooting off sparkles and screeching rocket-like fireworks, hopping up and down. Oh...great. Just great. Now Xai's once quiet house would be filled with not just one but two annoyingly loud things.
Wonderful.
"Well...then let's go home now." She almost didn't want to say it now! Evari she could deal with, but a thing that kept trying to eat her head? Ugh. She reached down to hold Evari's glowing hand, the girl happily taking hold of it and skipping alongside Xai and the nutbar. Oooh! It was going to need a name! Evari waved at Ryan, still grinning, wandering out of the shop hand-in-hand with Xai and followed by a very excited little smoke critter. Ugh, this was going to suuuuuck.

Greloren sighed as Switch abandoned him to this crazy nutbar who was still screeching on about food and how food should be in its tummy and that its tummy was empty and, well, I think you get the point. The half-elf sighed as he grabbed the smokey creature, which had continued to orbit his head. "Alright, I'll take you home and feed you. But you can't stay!"
"FOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!" The nutbar didn't seem to understand what had been said and wriggled in Greloren's hand. "FeedmenownownowNOW! Wantfoodinmytummyfast!"
Sighing, Greloren hefted Ryan higher up on his hip and headed out of the shop, the nutbar released to fly around and about the man the whole way home...
