Jem blushed. "Ah, now maman!" She looked up at her mother with a grin, "Don't over exaggerate now." She replied lightly as she nuzzled back against Stormwind.
Her smile stayed on her face, though her eyes became thoughtful. "Certainly." Jem whispered lightly before running her tail against her mother's side before walking quietly away - a smile still plastered on her face despite the faint worry.
Astra's careful gaze swept over the other dragons in the clearing and the dragon couldn't help but to smile as she nuzzled up against her mate. "Looks like this will be a busy night." Hopefully not a bad one though... Astra mentioned softly before looking over at Stormwind.
Jem's ears perked up as she noticed both of her sisters together. Though the dragon did slow just a tad bit when she felt the oddest feeling. Could something be wrong? Jem frowned but only shook her head - she shouldn't worry about things at a feast like this, right?
With that in mind Jem approached her sisters with a warm smile.

Tyrande smiled falsely, "Kay!" Then she turned her attention back to Dryad and Muerta. Her mind wasn't the sharpest out there, but once the tools began to turn she caught sharps fairly quickly. It wasn't hard to see the physical change when she realized Muerta wasn't just pudgy. Her eyes turned into cold slits, her fur stood on end and her hackles rose. I shouldn't have woken up today.
The heiress counted back from ten to really absorb the information. Muerta's pregnant. Thats not so bad, is it? Nah. But whose the father? Dad or Hoku? Oh s**t. What if it's a rogue? And why the ******** is she so nice to Pho- damn it! Did no one tell her anything anymore?!
Tyrande found a rock in the ocean that was her sister, Jem. She nodded ever so slightly to the group, urging her to come on!
Arthus padded over to a vaguely familiar face. "Evening, Mistress Sini. Working hard as ever, I see?" He smiled pleasantly, hoping he wouldn't be rebuffed. Trained eyes had seen the way she looked at the darker female, and as curious as he was, he knew his place. "My, but the evening is beautiful. Is it not?"
The maman watched carefully as her daughter joined the group of slowly impending drama. She could taste it in the air like smoke and had no want to join. Instead, Stormwind nuzzled her mate. "In more ways than one." She winked, then laughed lightly and stepped away towards carcasses. Never one to worry about appearances, Stormwind plunged her albino coat into the bloodied meat and poked around at the hunks. "Help me pick out a good one. I don't want the Northerners to get all the good stuff."

Sini nodded briskly. "It is indeed, Arthus." She kept her eyes trained on Sini and Azar, not truly aware of how possessively she watched the dark female. "And I am working hard. I just got off guard duty." Like a compass, her mind reverted to pointing due Senka. "She's new; she just arrived with her three children, two of them sons, the other one a daughter. Isn't she..." Sini trailed off into obsessed silence, and she became aware, after a moment, how embarrassing she'd just sounded, and evaded Arthus' wise eyes, trying to ignore the faint flush to her cheeks.

Annie blushed. "No," she said, and tried to think of a good way to distract the other female. She turned her head to look at where the sisters were gathering. "It's so strange to see them all grown up," she said. "I knew them when they were kids, you know. I like children... do you think there will be more soon? I heard rumors that somebody joined with children, but I don't know if it's true or not..." She stopped her nervous high speed rambling and took a deep breath.
Phoebe smiled at Muerta, forgetting her previous unease, and started to return the greeting when Dryad blurted out a congratulations. She froze, time creaking by, mouth open, unsure what to say. Pretend nothing had happened? "Muerta..." She turned her head ever so slightly and read Tyrande's expression in a glance; the narrowed eyes, the raised hackles. She felt like she was standing on the edge of a cliff, frozen from the inside, broken, falling, waiting to be pushed.
"Muerta's my mate!" she blurted. Her eyes bulged, taken aback by her own declaration.
She could almost see the jagged rocks waiting at the bottom of her fall.

All of the color drained from Muerta's face [if she had any color in it in the first place] and she stared off into the distance. Oh crap oh crap oh crap oh craaapppp... Her forepaws were still holding firm in front of her swollen belly, but her legs and whole body felt like jelly. Her breath came in short, quick bursts. Her vision began to fail her. She could hardly form comprehensible words. She felt on the verge of collapsing entirely when Phoebe blurted out the secret that the two had kept hidden for what seemed like so long.
"Well... Damn it." Muerta willed her legs to move and she walked over to Phoebe side, reaching out her head to nuzzle the princess. She sat down beside her, eyes glaring fiercely at Tyrande as if her rage and hatred of the princess could undo all of the suffering that she had endured over the years in this pack. Despite all of the injustice that had been put on her because of her dark coat color, Muerta doubted that she could ever leave. She loved Phoebe. To live without her was impossible for Muerta.
Muerta wrapped her tail around her feet, which were placed by her pregnant belly. Her eyes were cold and she spoke with intense calm in her voice, addressing all within earshot, particularly Tyrande. "Yes... Phoebe and I are mates. Does anyone have a problem with this?"

And while all eyes seemed to be on poor Muerta and Phoebe, Dryad's attention had been drawn directly to the young dragon Senka had dragged over in the attempt to spare the other two dragons from the drama that would undoubtedly unfold because of the nanny's exclamation, "What an adorable little hatchling you have there. You must be such a proud mother." Dryad had the uncanny ability to remain completely ignorant to what she had started as she cooed over Azar in a fashion quite similar to the way humans react to babies.
Only when Phoebe had declared Muerta as her mate did she pick back up on what was around her. Quickly she returned her attention to the pair of them with such a gleeful smile that it was quite apparent she had no clue of the tension between any of the dragons around her, "Oh, so many wonderful things happening tonight. I don't even think congratulations is a big enough word to celebrate all this!"
For once, Kunoichi was a bit uncomfortable. It would seem that Annie's nerves were rubbing off on her and she wasn't exactly happy with this feeling. For so long she had managed to keep a hold of herself; her emotions, her thoughts, her feelings, but since joining the pack that all seemed to be slowly slipping away and it seemed to get at its worst around Annie. As always, though, she did her best not to let any of this show but try as she might, there was just the slightest of a falter in her voice as she spoke, "I believe that dark, spotted female has come in with children, and I have heard that a male member of the pack also has a brood that have joined the pack."
Whlie Kunoichi didn't often speak rumors herself, she heard them frequently and made sure to take note of them in order to find out their validity later. She may not have known much about past events of her pack mates, she made a strong effort to keep up with their current ones.

Senka smiled at the brown and green Northern female. "Thank you very much," she said quietly. She suddenly felt awkward in the sudden outburst about the spooky female and one of the white females being mates. She had gotten the general impression that dark or dull coats were not exactly liked in Westfall, but she had been prepared to work through it for her family. It sounded like those two females would also be going through a rough patch in their lives. She made a note to herself to support them, even if only from the sidelines.
Azar slipped away from her mother and rather naively stepped up next to the two females who liked each other. "Hey, is it wrong for you two to like each other?" she asked the two females with the large, innocent eyes of a child.

"Alright." With a sniff, Astra started to daintily prod at the carcasses. Soon enough she nuzzled one and looked over to her mate, "This one seems really tender." Not too much muscle or fat. Astra grinned, seems like it would be a good feast tonight.
Tyrande. Jem's gaze went from slightly curious to complete concern. With quick steps she pushed her way to her sister's side and nuzzled her in soft greeting. But she nearly flinched at Phoebe's claim. Oh no. She felt that there might be trouble tonight - but for her sisters! Oh, how was Tyrande going to react? Or Maman for that matter?
She closed her eyes and summoned that calm mask that she knew Astra could so easily wear. "Now wait a sec." Her gaze went to both of her sisters, imploringly. Please, Tyrande and Phoebe - peace. No words could express the mixed emotions inside of her. Mating was a blessed thing, she knew that. Love was something to be treasured, as were children. But the rules...Muerta was pregnant, that was obvious after all. The thing was...who was the father?
Jem's trouble gaze softened at the obvious affection shared by her sister and Muerta. "Now. Why should we protest?" Her voice was soft and tender, "As long as there's love I'll never protest against mating, Muerta." Her gaze slipped to Azar and the dragon shook her head softly at the child. No there was nothing wrong with them liking each other. Nothing wrong at all...just the rules.
The dragon looked to Tyrande with a plea. Surely there was something they could do to resolve this. Maybe Muerta's pregnancy wouldn't be trouble like she feared.
