She had a clue as to what it felt like to live after revenge. Though soon she found herself cursed by her family. They took some of her heart, leaving a gaping hole in the middle that she just could not fill. She wanted revenge for that. For the evil that they committed just because she lived through it all.
She was interested in what he was saying and she wasn't dull either. Was he looking for his brother maybe? She dare not ask, though she already knew the answer. "Ah. I do understand that predicament, Hala. I too have been trying to track something down that seems more and more unlikely to actually exist. I hope it does however, otherwise all this roaming..." She paused, thinking for a moment about what would happen if she didn't find a cure for her heart. "...It would be pointless."
A small line formed on her maw as she watched him study her. It wasn't a new concept to help another rogue eat. After all, why waste the meat and leave a fresh trail? Plus, he looked like he was in pain from earlier mannerisms.
"No. I was trying to but my head was too foggy." Staring up at the sky for a moment she waited, then looked toward him again. "..and I happened to notice that you look like you are in some sort of pain." Eying him for a moment she let her gaze go to the top of his head then back down to his eyes.
"So, I have an idea. If I manage a slightly larger kill you help me eat it. I rather not leave a fresh bloody trail for someone to track me with. And the idea of just dumping the last of the body in the river upsets me as well." She crossed her right paw over the other watching him carefully. It would be a win win for the both of them, and it wasn't like she would leave him the crappy bits either. Hell she would allow him to eat first so long as she got a bite.
[So my idea with this is to have Hala trust her enough to bring back food. This could be another RP if you want or continued here. Maybe he could become restless because she takes too long or something but in the end she will come back with something. ]

(( sorry for the delay! I'm kinda opposite than most people and struggle to get online at weekends x3 but yes, that sounds fab! Good way to gain a little more of his trust. We can do it in a new thread, if you like! I'd be happy to start it, or feel free if you would like to! ))
"We must do what we have to to keep on living in a world that is so tainted and cruel as this. If we stopped searching, what would be the point of our existence? Perhaps, if my search comes to an end - successfully or otherwise - I shall simply cease to exist."
He shook his head. "But death does not scare me. I have seen much of it in my time and how can there possibly not be something else waiting for us? Even if it is not a good place to go to, it would be better than simply nothing, right?" He shook his head, growling again at himself for being too open. He was tired, hurting and hungry. His senses were dulled. He should be more careful.
And yet she seemed to know exactly what to say to get him to open up.
He growled, startled by her comment towards his injury. Curling a lip, he half-turned away as if that might hide the evidence and thus convince her nothing was wrong. A foolish idea but something he could not help. A reflex action, as it were. "It is nothing. I hardly notice it any more." A part lie. It was getting better, but it did still bother him, especially after a day of hard walking.
He was about to move off then, just do it rather than think about it when she spoke again and he froze, ears turning towards her. Then the eyes returned to watch her, trying to unravel whether she was attempting to trick him or not. But as far as he could tell, there was no trickery there in her eyes.
"I...would be a fool to say no." He admitted, somewhat reluctantly.

Watching him turn away she had to hold a grin in. He was acting like a child trying to hide the wound from her. She could see it, even as he turned away. Hell, she thought it looked painful, and she wasn't even close to him. He more than likely shook like a leaf up close. No good, no good at all.
Moving a bit closer to him she sighed loudly, hoping he would catch it. "If you say so... Though I do know a great deal about healing the body."She would be happy to get him the herbs and stones too, after all he had allowed her to get so much off her chest, and even shared the same ideas. It was the least she could do.
And then he moved slightly, as if readying himself to go, causing her to growl lightly. How rude of him, moving away like that. of course, that was her thoughts before he froze up. His eyes watching her carefully, studying her. No, she wasn't playing tricks, but would he still think she was?
Holding a breath she waited, body tense as he slowly spoke. Would he be turned off by the idea, or would he accept it? Watching him weigh the options he finally spoke, causing everything to unwind. He would. Perfect.
"Then I will be back."
With that she picked herself up, bowing to him lightly before rushing off to the grass. It would be no good having him wait all night now. There had to be more stories and thoughts to be shared.
