Vanguard
Vanguard awoke from its slumber and disabled its security systems for the time being. It started up a boot sequence and ran a quick diagnostic. Everything was running normally and it would soon move out of the cargo hold. Each step was heavy and made a thud as it walked out of the transport vessel. It scanned the area around its self and it began to analyze who it would have to work with on this mission. They seemed to be able to handles them selves and it began some other process as it moved about the area, it had connected it self to a network. Vanguard moved around and it might approach its team members but for now will settle on getting an idea as to what was happening around it. As well it needed to check a few other systems before they would begin there work.
It moved about and went to a clear area. Vanguard started its thrusters at this time and lifted its self in the air and flew to another area and landed with a loud thud. This body was a bit heavy then it was used to but it would not take long to adjust to it. It began to walk around once more preforming some minor calibrations. Vanguard began to walk towards the others the where around and was looking for the one in command at this time to gather more information.

Vandor got up and immediately grabbed his sniper rifle and his shotgun. He was glad he wasn't plagued with the grogginess humans have when waking up.
He walked out the door, putting his pistol in a holster and his sniper rifle behind his back.
The Scales hit a button on the door and put on his mask. Not only would it protect him from this harsh enviorment but it also had a heat vision, a heartbeat sensor, and can also zoom in for when he isn't using the Sniper Rifle.
As he walked outside, the harsh winds nearly blew him away. He held his hand above his face and looked around. Vandor saw Vanguard approaching him. He was an interesting bot to say the least.
"Are you security, Vanguard?"

 Vanguard
"I am here for the same reason you are" it said, its voice was purely electronic and stayed at a monotone level for the time being. Vanguard was different then most mecha seeing as he tried to be more of a machine then anything else and it had become quite good at it. One of the electronic eyes stayed on Vandor at this moment and he was just getting a good scan of him and nothing more. He seemed to be of the scale race and in good shape as well he would keep his face in storage for later use. Or to possibly gather more information on him if it was needed at some point in time. "Will you have any trouble handling the climate of this planet" it asked in the same voice it spoke in early.
Vanguard kept his eyes focused on the Vandor for the time being but his sensors where still scanning the area and part of his mind was already determine what tactics could be used to there advantage. It took a step back at this time and a small plated opened up. Three small probes came out and began to float around him, eventually moving off and heading out in there own direction. "Do you have any knowledge pertaining to what enemies we might encounter on this mission" Vanguard asked.

Vandor examined the probes, each was a skull. Perhaps some he collected? He was unsure, but Vanguard had his style. "The climate isn't terrible." he said, putting his hand down. His voice was a little electronic being projected through his mask.
"The winds should die down, and the air is something I cannot breathe in and survive." The Scales said, looking at Vanguard. One eye seemed to be on him the whole time. He moved his body slightly to the left and it followed. What the hell was it doing?
"No," Vandor said in response to his question; "I'm basically here as a bodyguard of sorts they didn't tell me much."

 Vanguard
"I see then we are left in the same position. I only have a bit of information that states we are to be guarding something a value aside from that I can not say what it is at this time" Vanguard said as it stood there not moving the slightest. "I pity you organics at times, having to deal with the limitation of the bodies you have. But at time I envy you for the same reason" it said before it turned slightly from side to side looking over the area. It began to move around at this time to get a few more things adjusted to this world. "How do you find the heat of this planet" he asked.
Eventually Vanguard stopped moving and kept one of its eyes on the scale at this time. It still needed a complete scan of this one in order to fill some information about his team member. Soon enough the the small probes returned and stayed near it for the time being. They where nothing more then spheres that severed the purpose of scouts for it. Although at time he could have them changed out for something more lethal. "It also seems that we will be working together for the remainder of this mission" it said.

"We envy you as well." Vandor said, clutching his shotgun. The scales stood forward, the eye still watching him. He narrowed his eyes at it, trying to see what it was doing. He couldn't find a purpose.
"The heat is fine, although I don't really notice it because of my armor."
Vandor looked across this hell hole. It was crap. It was terrible.
He didn't really want to be here, but the robot said they would be working together. "Rather work with you then an organic." he said truthfully.

 Vanguard
Vanguard stood there and looked at the scale but his attention was also to the area around them. Seeing as it could do more then an average organic multi task was simple enough. "Have troubles dealing with other organic beings" he asked in a monotone voice. It did seem odd that an organic being did not prefer to work with one of its own and he was curious as to why this scale felt in such a way. From personal experience Vanguard was no like by many organics seeing as it is a purely synthetic life form. Its attention shifted once more to calibrating some systems that where having trouble in this heat.
Vanguard turned to one side but still kept some of its attention on Vandor encase he answered its question. It lifted its one arm that happened to be a pulse cannon and aimed it at the ground in front of him. It was a robot and preferred to multi task when it could. There was some noise but the weapon was quite and Vanguard was running some test to make sure it would not heat up from too much use. After it was finished it turned back to Vandor and kept an eye on the organic.

"Mechas get things done." he mumbled, peering through the scope, making sure the golem scope worked correctly. Vandor looked up and turned his head toward the synthetic. "No offense, it's just organics tend to be to cocky at times.
Vandor put the sniper back on his back and made sure it was securely fastened. "So, how did you get here? Were you assigned to this place by your creator or commander?"

 Vanguard
"We do most of the time but there are other of my kind that are similar to you organics. If not worse" Vanguard said as he it ran through a quick diagnostic and it was over quickly. It was simply checking on its weapons system to make sure that it would vent enough heat, so there would be no malfunction in the future. This amused him slightly for some reason or another. A slight chuckle could be heard coming from it at this time it was quite but it was there. "I have neither a creator nor a commander, I am free to do as I wish" it said in a monotone voice.
It was true however he did not know of a commander or creator all it knew it could do as it saw fit. "I am free no even this physical body is a burden" Vanguard said as it launched another probe or two to run another scan of the area. Although it was curious to see the reaction of this organic. Seeing as more mecha where not free like it was and had to obey orders they where given. This bothered it slightly seeing as they where an intelligent life form.

"Worse?" he asked curiously. His feet were getting tired and he sat on a box, which was probably used to store the rocks they would find on here.
Vandor began to ask how he was created if he didn't have a creator, but he knew he did have one, although he didn't know of him. "We are all free, Vanguard. All of our bodies are barriers which keep us from our full potential. Our mind is the greatest weapon."

 Vanguard
"Since some have awoken from there slumber they have become self indulgent and more like you organics" Vanguard said as a few thoughts crossed his mind. It did wonder if it had a creator or just came into existence but it had a personality and the ability to learn and adapt it was an intelligent life form after all. It watched as Vandor moved to a box and it simply followed him so that they had the same distance between them as before. "That is where we differ. This body is but a shell to house my mind aside from that I exist as energy to be moved from one shell to another" it said as he looked at him.
It spoke the truth it did exist as nothing more then energy but to a degree it did require a physical shell. Although it did wonder if it could reach a point in its life where a body was not need and it could manifest its self as pure energy. The thought seemed to be quite interesting to it and only time would tell. "How ever I need a body to interact in this world but that may change as all creatures do" Vanguard said.

"So you don't agree the mind is the most powerful weapon?" Vandor laughed slightly. "Tell me, if you had all those powerful weapons, and more, but you weren't nearly half as intelligent as you were now, would it be worth it? I mean yeah, you'd still kill people, but with those weapons you could do so much more."Vandor stretched himself, his back cracking. He always liked that feeling. "So what are you here for? You don't seem like a mecha who would need money."

 Vanguard
"The mind is what has created many things in this world and it a weapon that should be guard well. Others mecha are nothing more then a program that works withing certain limits and I will say they can be quite lethal" Vanguard said. It thought for a moment and wondered if he should explain his purposes for seeking work in an area like this. This organic seemed to be somewhat different then others he has met in his life time. "I require resources to rebuild a vessel" it said as he moved around slightly before standing still once more. It was still trying to calibrate some systems at this time but should finishes soon.
"It was a vessel that I served on for sometime although I can not say exactly what I have done there. The name of this vessel is Winds of Change" Vanguard said as he it remembered the location of the vessel and the exact cost to upgrade and repair the ship so it would be fit for combat. It brought back a fond memory two and maybe he could find out more once he entered the ship and went thought is archives.
