Other Information: Theo smiles as he carefully tucks the blanket into the knapsack, "Are you ready Anox?" he calls, the toddler had gone into the bathroom to get his toothpaste and toothbrush. No answer, that was odd. Theo walked into the bathroom and his heart nearly stopped at what he saw.
Anox lay sprawled on the floor, pale and barely breathing. Theo rushes over and scoops the boy up, tilting his head back to see if maybe he had choked, nothing, he listens to his heart, it was so slow... He groans in desperation and stands, heading out for the door, and subsequently, the hospital, where the toddler is admitted right away for testing.
The doctors said it was a coma, and that all they could do now was wait. Theo was stricken, he didn't know what to do. He called his friend Aderyn, and together they formulated a lie to tell the others, saying that He and Anox had gone on a sudden trip. He didn't want to worry the other children that had met his boy, especially not Giovanni, who seemed to have taken a special interest in the little demon.
Theo stayed by the toddler's bedside, even as the boy began to change slowly, becoming larger, seemingly overnight, and more mature looking. It was frightening for the Guardian, but he never left that bedside. Three whole months passed before Anox began to show signs of life again, waking slowly over a few days, and finally opening is eyes. He had changed! His eyes now glow a bright green, and his skin had darkened, he looked almost animal-like in his groggy state.
Theo leaned over his boy, soothingly caressing his hair, "Anox... Good morning..." he whispers, smiling softly. Anox stares at him, looking frightened, "P-Papa... where are we?" he asks, reaching up to cling to the green haired man's arm, wanting to feel the safety.
"We are at the hospital... You were sick, but now, you are all better. Don't ever get sick again, okay?" he whispers, leaning down to gently kiss the child's forehead, struggling against his urge to pull him up into his arms and hug him. "Papa... I want to go home and see Gio..." Anox whispers, leaning against the man and sniffling, which pulls a soft laugh from the Guardian, "Alright Anox, but we have to wait till the doctor says you can go home. But Anox, this is a super secret place, you can't tell anyone we were here, okay?" he says, whispering to make it seem more important. Anox nods obediently and smiles, "Our secret Papa..."
