Ama nodded. "Yeah, I can understand. Well, if you'd like, I know there's not many people living in this area here." She pointed to a spot in the forest. "It's really thin, and it's where I go to get tea leaves half the time. And, it smells nice too."

"As good a place as any to start looking I suppose" he nods and then starts to fold up the map the way it had been folded when she'd brought it out the day before... "But first... neeeeeeddddd foooooodddddd" he pretends to talk like a zombie to tease her

Ama screamed, playing along with the zombie act. "Oh no!" Quickly, she grabbed the closest thing to her to arm herself. Both hands grasping a pillow, she threw one at him, aiming right for his face. "East pillow, Zombie!"

"ACK!" his eyes widened as the pillow filled his entire vision. He pushed away at it but it'd been too late, he'd already gotten a facefull of it and a couple feathers from it which he sputtered out when the pillow was no longer in his face "I woulda rather eatten like pancakse or something then feathers" he makes a face and jokes at her

Grinning widely, Ame got up to her feet. "I can make some eggs if you'd like. My dad keeps a decent supply of food in here so we don't have to go to the kitchen every time we want food." Walking up to him, she plucked a feather out from his hair and smirked. "I make a great zombie hunter don't I?"

"The egg before the bird!" he proclaims and smirks and then nods "Yeah eggs sound pretty good.... You a good cook?" he brushes a couple more feathers off his pae-self and then stands up not realizign there was yet one more feather poking out of his hair

Ama's hands were fast and accurate, easily plucking feathers from his hair. She'd grown up learning how to gather fruits, herbs, and tea leaves and plucking feathers wasn't so different. "Well, I was the one who made that bread... and ever since I became an adult, my dad's had me do the cooking to make up for not charging me rent."

Thom looks up as her hands snatched at the feathers, not sure at first what she was doing. "He can charge you rent? in the HQ? didnt think it cost anything for Pae to stay here at all...." he reaches up and combs his fingers through his hair checking for any last stray feathers before adding "thanks"

Ama placed the handful of feathers on the table and shrugged, heading into the kitchen. "It's his way of saying 'Hey, get your butt out of here' without actually saying it. I mean, how many other adults do you see living with their parents?" She gave a sigh, cracking open eggs and putting a skillet on the fire on the stove.

"I'm sure there are plenty, but regardless...." he drops into a chair and watches her cook, she definetaly knew what she was doing. His mind wandered a bit in the silence and he looked out the window just off into the distance without a target.

Concentrating on her cooking, Ama drifted off into her own thoughts. Completely forgetting that there was another in her home, she began singing softly under her breath. While letting the egg sit a bit, she reached into a cabinet, pulling out some muffins she'd gotten the other day from the HQ's kitchen. Putting them on a stone tablet, she put it over a second flame to heat up the muffins.
A few minutes later, she walked out with a tray holding two bowls of scrambled eggs and warmed muffins for each of them as well as a cup full of juice. "Here you go! Eat up!" She smiled brightly to him.

Thom's stomach speaks audibly as the smells of the food fill the room when she brings it out "smells wonderful, thanks" he pulls himself up to the table and digs in, he said little but his demeanor spoke volumes of his approval for the meal.

Ama didn't say much at all while she ate, but once she finished, she sat back and grinned. "Ahhhh, alright, I think I'm ready for a little bit of exploring...." Turning her head, she gave a slightly mischievous grin to Thom. "How about you?"

He pushes the bowl away and nods "more exploring it is... just not on the mountain this time" he winks and stands up, "shall we then, you can show me some of the changes the isle has that arent very obvious on the map" he stretches one more time before turning towards the door to head out.
