Thom uses the edge of the pedestal as leverage to stand back up and brushes the dust off his arse "Faun? What in guardians name is a faun...." he looks around still trying to sort out even where he was now. "I would suppose I was... here I think... I dont have a bloody clue.... Where is here...." he frowns now almost appearing to ignore the faun, this was definetaly NOT his home on the mountains not at all...

Seeing the look on his face, she instantly recognized him as the Pae statue that'd just broken. "Oh my gods..... You're that Statue!" The color from Ama's face suddenly drained as she looked around to see all of the other statues. "We need to leave... NOW." Her voice was filled with urgancey and she grabbed his arm, pulling him along with her as she made her way to the exit. She didn't know how those Pae got to be Statues, but she wasn't about to stick around and see how/

"Statue? Huh? What?... WOAH!!" he was nearly pulled off his feet as she pulled him towards the exit. She'd definetaly taken him by surprise doing that. "Why do we need to leave?" he stumbles along behind her just barely catching solid footing as they cross the threshold of the doorway exitting the hall.

Ama pulled him along, nearly sprinting back up to the main level of the building and out the door. Her mind was racing, and she was so confused about what was going on. "The Statues... are Pae......." She muttered to herself as she broke out into the sunlight and the warm air.
Spinning around, she looked at Thom. "What... is the last thing you remember of this island?" She had a feeling that this Pae was a living artifact; something her father would be wanting to meet.

He comes to a stop bending over hands resting on his knees catching his breath once more, he squints in the sunlight and looks around him "Where are we?" now his voice had confusion in it, he didn't remember these buildings, not a single one of them. "And where is Aura Nin???"

Ama sweatdroped. "Ok, well you're clearly a fossil before MY time. You might be able to talk to my dad... he's old enough to remember the time when the island wasn't in water." She then muttered under her breath something about 'rude old farts', clearly having not forgotten her owed apology.

"What?!?!? in the water?!?!?" this got Thom's attention fast "How in guardians name did the island decend?!?" He'd much forgotten he was catching his breath again, more shocked then anything "Your dad???" if it was another faun he was certain not to know them.

Ama looked at him strangely. "I already told you I don't know anything; this was all before my time, you fossil. Now, you can come with me down to the HQ and meet with my dad, or you can sit around and be lost." Turning her back to him, she started walking off to find her way back down to the island.

Thom looked dumbfounded for a moment then hurried to catch up tot he bright colored faun. He didnt speak but his eyes were taking in everything. He had that solomn look on his face again, his eyes spoke his confusion though.

Ama heard him following behind her and paused, waiting for him to catch up to her. "You still haven't apologized yet...." she grumbled to him, her arms crossed.
The look on his face did make her feel bad for him; he had, essentially, traveled into the future and had no idea where his family was.

"What? oh... uhm.... sorry..." He was distracted but he did catch her mumble as he caught up to her and came to a stop. He sighs and motions for her to lead the way, he was still unfamiliar with ANYTHING around him in the city

Ama frowned a little. "I can understand why you're sad right now... but why were you so sad looking in your statue?" Yeah, she was rough around the edges, but Ama could be a genuinely nice pae when it came down to it.

"Sad? Uhm, guess thats a long story... Very long story... Failed relationships, lost children... The mountain is my home, with the eagles..." he sighs, the confusion in his eyes replaced by sadness. He waits for her lead once more but gazes off into the distant sky remembering a time that was long before

Ama really felt bad for him. "Oh...." Biting her lip, she fidgeted a bit, then reached over and gave him a big hug. "I'm sorry" she whispered, really feeling terrible for what she'd put him through. Pulling away, she gave him a bright smile. "Hey, no matter what, you can count on me to be your friend, ok? I know we sorta started off on the wrong foot earlier, but you're not a bad guy."

Thom was mildly surprised by the sudden hug, but he relaxed and returned it, and for the first time since they'd met a small smile graced his lips for a moment "I could probably use a friend, after all, this is a confusing time right now to say the least" he pauses and then adds "shall we?" he motions her to lead once more
