"You're welcome." Switch said with a bit of a giggle, glancing down at the infant when he was caught up playing with his hair. She nodded a bit. "Yes, for some reason when I hold him like this he calms right down, becomes almost agreeable." The alien criminal was rather content, happily pressed up against Switch's chest. It was the perks of having an adult mind stuck in an infant's body! He could innocently indulge in boob hugs and not seem like a pervert! Mwahaha.

"Maybe...though I'm not entirely sure. Kay came from a Mayan Shaman's mask, and he's...well..." She gestured to the boy with the snake fused to his skull, who was cheering over his strike. "Though a violin is much more sophisticated than a Shaman." Which probably accounted for the difference in sophistication.

Kay watched poor Mrrh go bouncing to the pins, knocking down all but one in the back corner. Grinning wide, he pat the girl on the shoulder and went to get Mrrh back, handing the shrunken head right back. "I think you're lying." He told her with a playful grin while he handed Mrrh to her. "You're good, I think you've bowled before!" The boy seemed amused and not at all thinking of 'beginners luck'. In his mind, you either sucked or had practice, the end! Still, he found it amusing...and yes, he was competitive.

"Try gettin a spare, yeah? Knockin' down the last pin." He asked, pointing at the only pin standing.

"My mom always said it had to do with the heartbeat. It all came down to the facts of you may not be related in blood but you are connected at the heart and soul- where it maters most," he smiled as he watched the little boy continue to stroke the ends of Switches hair and tangle his fingers into it. "Nothing wrong with agreeable. It is certianly better than a fit," he winked.

"More about the type of the item than the age of the item," Vlad mused aloud. "That does make sense... More so than the age of the item. If she acted the age of the violin she'd need a walker..." He grinned as he half wondered if that would be a bad thing. It would slow her down a good bit. "...Well..." Vlad laughed as he glanced in the direction she motioned to. "I say that a lot myself- every parent does. You'll probably say it more so than the rest of us when it comes to Curio's though considering the magical properties behind the item."

Victoria clapped her hands together the moment every pin but one fell down. He was excited for her 'victory'. This meant she could be equally as happy about her accomplishment. That this hadn't affected their fresh friendship at all.

"I promise I've never practiced before... I just have a high learning curve," she giggled when Kay handed her the head again. He really seemed to want for her to give it her all.

"A spare?" Victoria questioned. But no sooner than she had asked she was told what it was. "So, only one pin left to knock down." She smiled brightly- it was in the bag. This was going to be a piece of cake!

Victoria sent Mrrh down the path and towards the final pin. She drew in a breath and waited...

"Your Mother seems very wise." Switch said with a small smile, nuzzling her nose between the infant's werewolf ears. "I like agreeable." She laughed, shaking her head. "I can imagine half of this shop would be in walkers when they came to life, if you judged by age...thank god though, that wouldn't be fun!" Though Kay drove her absolutely nuts sometimes, he was also a blast.

It took quite a bit to deter Kay once he settled his (usually easily wandering) mind on something. Victoria's friendship happened to be one of them, and unless she started screaming at him he probably wouldn't care if she had been lying to him. As it were, he watched her roll Mrrh a second time, the poor shrunken head bouncing along the ground and knocking over the last pin, making the Shaman boy cheer once more.

Grabbing one of her smooth hands with one of his rough and calloused ones, he threw it into the air like she'd just won a wrestling match. "Good job, 'Tori!" He cheered, not asking her for permission to use a nickname. 'Victoria' was a very pretty name, but it was also very long. Letting her hand go, Kay turned to face her, still smiling. "Proud'a you, wearin' a dress like that an' still doin good." Last time he played this with a girl, she looked more like a boy! Actually, a lot of the girls he knew dressed like boys. Huh.

"I wish it were possible for you to meet my mother... I'm sure she could have been of some help- if not comfort to you," Vlad sighed. The tip of his tail twitched. "She sacrificed herself to protect her daughter," at this statement he showed a sincere smile.

Vlad laughed at the further thought of items coming to life from this shop needing walkers. "Walkers certainly wouldn't be any fun... Unless of course you happened to have one that came to life," he grinned.

Victoria clapped excitedly to celebrate her victory. She was most pleased at herself for not only doing a good job, but at making a right choice. It was nice to be pretty and on a pedestal but there was also something about being competitive.

Victoria looked at her hand and then at his. Her cheeks turned flushed, however, she played it off as excitement from jumping up and down by grinning all giddy like.

"Tori," Victoria whispered out loud. And, then a couple more times in her head. She grinned liking the sound of it.

"Thank you," Victoria said blushing at the compliment of being able to be pretty and competitive at the same time. She fluffed her curls. Next her hands went automatically to straightening her dress. "You're something yourself," she gave him a wink.

Vlad's ears swiveled the moment he'd heard the cheers of the children in the room. He chuckled and then glanced out the window. "The sun's at the right position for us to be going," he sighed hating to drag Victoria away from her new friend. But, there was still things to be done with the day light that was left.

"I'm sure she wouldn't have had it any other way." The blue haired woman said softly; before she became a Mother, even if only an adopted one, she didn't understand why Parents did what they did. But now, thanks to the boys, she understood. Even if it's not biological, they're still your children, and you'd still go anything to protect them, even if it means dying. Heaven forbid, of course.

"Luckily, not yet." Switch giggled at the thought of a walker coming to life. "But I imagine that kid would have a pretty hard time now a days...what with all this new-phangled technologies and the insistance of kids to play on lawns." Kay liked to play on the lawn when he was younger; and that sometimes also turned into the neighbour's lawn, and the yards across the street. But very little was sacred to Kay.

The boy in question didn't even notice her flushed cheeks; why would he? He was too young to understand things like that, and even if he DID understand, he was having too much fun to process it. "Yup, Tori! Victoria's a pretty name an' all...but it's too long. Like 'Xbalanque' is too long! So, Tori! And Kay." He explained his thought process proudly, adding his own name in there to further his example.

Her compliment and wink made a strange grin form on his lips; he liked the way she did that, but couldn't quite place why. His red eye turned towards her Guardian when he heard something about leaving, and sigh a sigh he turned back to the red headed girl. "Thinkin' your Chit wants t'go." He informed her, tilting his head before letting go of her hand in favor of hugging her. Personal Space? He had no concept of personal space! "Y'gotta come back an' visit, okay? We can have a rematch!" He informed her upon loosening his grip on the hug, but not yet letting her go...not until she hugged back, anyway!

"If Victoria has a say in things I'm sure we'll be back sooner rather than later," Vlad said with a smile. He stood up and offered his hand to Switch. "It has been a pleasure."

As Kay hugged Victoria she was brought to her tip toes. She didn't think anything about personal space or the like and quickly returned the hug. "You better believe I'm coming back! I'm looking forward to that rematch," she giggled.
