**Yami Enzeru** It didn't knock him out at all but it did hurt like hell, and he coughed before grabbing his gut in pain. I'm not letting a guy like that get away with this. I'm tired of people thinking that they can mess around with me For the time being he just lied down onto the bed then he got up and looked into the mirror. Yes! The marks were still there from when his neck was grabbed. All he had to do was make a small trip to the nurse's office and he could say that Kareem did it to him. Plus he could make the hit to the guts worse then it was because he could be very convincing.
He walked off to the nurse's office and walked in pretending to be all beat up. When the nurse asked what happened he told her all about Kareem and she called the principal. Then an announcement came over the loud speaker. "Will Kareem Murdock please report to the nurse's office?"
Busted.

When Kareem made it into the nurses office, he's uniform was slightly tousled; the tie was flipped over his shoulder, the top buttons were not buttoned, and he was just fastening a belt around his waist. This was evidence that he had to put his clothes on in a hurry. From doing what... One could only imagine. Once the belt was secure and his pants wouldn't fall down, he waltzed up to the nurses office, looking totally cool and confident. But when he saw Yami, his demeanor changed. "What do you want?" He asked, his voice seeming to be forced to feign kindness, his whole body tense.

**Yami Enzeru**Yami simply sneered at him as the nurse told him that the Headmaster at the school said that if he had one more mishap then he was going to be expelled from the school permanently..and Yami did nothing to hide the fact that he was the one that told. He gave Kareem that screamed, "Go ahead and do something about it. Smarts against brawn..."

As the nurse told him all this, Kareem couldn't help but glare at the boy. Never before had anybody stood up against him like this, especially a 'freshmeat punk' like him. Once the nurse was finished scolding him, he forced a smile on his face. "If that's all, may I leave now?"

**Yami Enzeru**The nurse said that there was nothing more and that he was free to go. When she went back to tending to Yami's 'wounds'. he looked at her with eyes of hurt like an actor in a play. When he was all tended too he went to his room to try on his new school uniform and see if it fit him and it did. Black was really his color. As he was getting into his uniform, Oz came into their room. He certainly looked worse for wear; his face was tear-stained and bruised, there was a limp in his step, and his shirt was open, revealing a sliver of bruised chest and stomach. Also, if one looked really close, there was bit of white liquid that was forgotten to be cleaned up.

**Yami Enzeru**Yami glanced over at Oz and saw how badly he was messed up. What Kareem did to him wasn't right. He didn't care about Oz in general, but he did feel his pain. All of it. He would be starting school tomorrow because that's when class starts. "You shouldn't have to deal with this.."

Oz glanced at Yami with a small glare. "Why shouldn't I? I got myself into this crap. Moreover, it's not of your business. Why do you even care? Or do you even care at all?"

At his little speech, Oz felt his tough man facade begin to crack. Tears started to seep down his face once more as he fell to his knees and sobbed, hugging himself. He felt and looked like a total wreck and he just wanted the pain to end. But he was too scared of Kareem to break up with him to go find a real relationship. Once that man finds something of interest (and worth his time), he never gives up that source of interest until he was uninterested once more. Moreover, everyone else is scared of the man, so even if he broke up with him, no one else would want to date him.

**Yami Enzeru**Yami remembered having tears...He had cried his heart out when his parents died and now he's seeing them again on Oz. Almost made him want to cry himself...almost...Without realizing what he was doing he bent down in front of him and hugged him, holding him close. "Sometimes...it's okay to cry...I'll be around you 24/7 in school so that he can't lay a hand on you...He's going to have to find someone else to break."

At the arms wrapped around his shaking form and the words of protection, Oz cried a bit harder as he hugs him back, crying into his chest. But, even through Yami's kind words, he couldn't help but berate himself for what he was doing now. He's seventeen years and he was crying like a child, seeking comfort in someone three to four years younger than him. Then he realized that he didn't know this brave soul's name. Lifting his head from his chest, he smiled through his tears, it a beautiful, kind smile, coming from the bottom of his slightly broken heart. "Thank you. My name is Oz Valentine."

**Yami Enzeru**"You're welcome. I'm Yami Enzeru. Pleased to meet you Oz...Hmm....There's a movie about a place named Oz. I saw it when I was a kid." When he saw Oz smile he felt something in his cold heart. It started to warm up and he almost smiled along with him. "I saw your schedule by accident during the fiasco and we have some of the same classes, so if you have any with Kareem and he tries anything call me on my cell and let me know okay?"

Oz couldn't help but chuckle a bit at this. "Yeah, I know. That's why Kareem said that nickname earlier. He was referring to that movie." At the mentioning of their schedules, he took out his own cell phone. "Well, I can't call you if I don't know your number."
