how do i join the class?

[edit]

user name: alyanna moon(u can call me aly or alyanna)
1. why do u want to join?
there r a few reasons one is so that i can learn more and figure out what my religon is, 2 so i can "spiritually fullfill my self" and 3 so i can learn more about myself personally and who i might become. im not realy sure if these r the only reasons though...
2. what r the "problem areas" in your life?
umm...lets see i think the problem areas in my life r my lack of follow through, and that i am not sure about my spirit as a whole or completed, whatever the term is for it i just feel i am looking for something.
3.which aspect of self do u lack the most? why?
spirit, because i dont feel complete and dont know what to believe in.
4.what do u hope to get out of this class?
i hope to figure out if wicca is my true religon or not. if i should keep searching or if i have found it. if i should wait till i am older and know myself more compleatly or if i should continue searching.
5. any concerns/ questions u have for me?
yes, there r several different forms of wicca and ive found that some r darker and well ask for um... stuff that i do not feel is right( like blood sacrafices ) is any of that in this? i am closer to the nature side of wicca, i hope im makin sence...

Thank you...you have been added to the list.

~To answer your response to Q5 I will start off by saying that this is not a Wicca based class. This is more focused around the law of attraction, which is at the heart of many religions. Personally I find this law to be very white as it brings good with good, but we will get to that later in the class. Furthermore Wicca is never dark, and if you are reading such things it may not be Wicca but another religion. However, I am not qualified to answer this because I am not a wiccan myself, but eclectic Pagan.~

Friendly Teacher reminder
*Be sure to do the lessons ans Assignments. I would rather not go on until more students are ready. None of them take all that long to do and they all help you change for the better..*

Good start. Point 5 I would defiantly make more clear f it is my own goal, like I will find the source of my stress and correct the problem. Try and phrase it in a way that is direct. Aside from that, it is a very nice first assignment.

[edit]

Because some of you students seem to be racing through your assignments, I would like to inform you that the next assignment will be up within the week. Just something to look forward to. The next lesson is not planned for another couple of weeks, but attraction is not the easiest concept to get. I'd like to be sure you understand it before I rush into the next topic.

Assignment 2:2 - Goal/Vision Board

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

The Vision Board is a simple way to help you out with your long term goals. This idea is so great that it has even been endorsed on Opera, America’s most successful female. The principal behind the Goal Board is pretty simple. The more you look at something, the more you remember it and think about it. The more you think about it the more you internalize it and the more the law of attraction brings your wants into existence. For this simple assignment I would like you Create a Goal/Vision Board of your own. Traditionally it is made on a cork board of some kind because that is simple, but a wall that you can tape and/or tack works for me.

Tools Desired for this Assignment:

~A Cork Board
~Scissors
~glue/tape/tacks/exct.
~Magazines
~Newspaper
~Internet Images
~Photos
~any other nick-naks that are easily hung.

**For those of you who do not have a wall, door, or a cork board, A piece of poster board, or construction paper works as well. If you are still struggling with finding a board, it can be made digitally with any computer program. If you chose to digitally create a Vision Board, feel free to set it as your computer background, ot tape it to your door or whatever.

How to make a Vision Board

Making a Vision board is very simple.

1. The first, and possibly most important step in a Vision Board is the placing of the board. You do want the board to be somewhere that you look at often. This is the reason why you have a Vision Board in the first place. A common spot is in front of your bed, but at the end of an often used hall way, or on your door is also another great suggestion. Just be sure you can view it once a day.

2. Now it is possibly the second most important step. You must decide what you want to get out of the Vision Board. What are your wants and desires? You may want to look at your Goals from the Goal List, or you may chose to make new, relevant goals. For this Assignment I would like to see at least 5 wants.

3. Once you have chosen your goals you are ready to create the symbols. For some of your wants this might be simple, such as "I want a car" find a picture of the exact car you want to come into your life. Some wants, especially your well thought our goals, may be harder to symbolize. For these thing deeply about how you would recognize this goal. If your goal is to become a better person, you might want to put a picture of a person you idol, and want to become more like. If you want to gain more self esteem, you may chose to add a real rubber balloon to your board. If you want to get out of a deep depression a big smiley face, or something else that makes you smile, is always an option. The possibilities are endless, so let yourself be creative.

4. Once you have chosen your Symbols, you are ready to begin placing them on your board. It is up to you to decide on how to attach the items to your board, but be careful not to damage anything someone would care about: like a wall with paste, or a paper doll with a tack through its head. Also be thoughtful in the composition of the board. I don't mean you can not be messy, I encourage that, but be sure you can see every symbol, and try not to jam them all in one corner. Hidden symbols will be missed, and you would be just as well off not putting them on at all. Jamming all the symbols in a corner may make you feel empty, and that is never a good thing. All of this said, the arrangement of your symbols can always be changed later on.

5. This is not a step in the making of the Vision Board, but it is a step I am asking you to do as a teacher, and to complete this Assignment. Please digitize the finalized version of your Vision Board and post it here with the following information.
~What I though about the Vision Board.
~What my symbols are, and what they represent. (as many as you feel comfortable with)
~My Vision Board located ...
~I (will/will not) continue to use my Vision Board in the future, and this is why...
**If you have no camera or scanner, you may describe your Vision Board in stead of send an image.
