"Going off trail is more fun." He grinned, ducking his head slightly like a sheepish school boy as she picked the bark off of his uniform, lost briefly in debate before adding. "Why don't you let me walk you back? At least to your school." Since many students stayed in the dorms, this seemed like a reasonably safe option, and it didn't toe step into Corvus's obvious desire to maintain her privacy, but at least he'd know a little more. And he had one more question he was saving up to ask anyway.

"In some cases, maybe, but once those brambles start to grow back when the weather gets nicer? No way I'm going off the path without something covering my legs." It was bad enough she had to cover up scrapes and bruises now, in the warmer months it would be nearly impossible unless she wore some sort of opaque stockings (which she hated doing even in winter with her uniform as she felt it made her look younger than she wanted to be).
Their closeness, or whatever it was that seemed to have developed, faded a bit as he voiced his question. It was her turn to be lost briefly in debate now; torn between the 'stern' senshi's sense of foreboding in letting anyone get that close and the teenage girl who'd just spent odd hours of the night having fun with a boy, a cute boy, who now wanted to walk her home.
Life wasn't fair.
Eventually she took a deep breath, releasing it in a bit of a sigh before looking up to him hesitantly. "If I let you... If..." Never mind that she'd already made up her mind that she would, no matter what his answer to her next question was. "... You'll be happy with just knowing which school I attend for now? No more prying until next time?"

He held up both hands, palm outward, as though to prove that he had no weapons or MacGuyveresque tools of prying, and raised both eyebrows for further emphasis. "No more prying, I promise. You want to tell me anything, you do it on your time. And if it makes you feel better I'll tell you which school I'm at, at least until graduation."
That had been a long debate. Try and get into Sovereign, or get a job, and after 'Sov'... then what? For now though it was far from the issue. "I just want to make sure you get back alright. No sense splitting up and getting attacked by a savage bit of topiary at the gates."

She watched him for a moment, not because she doubted his sincerity but because it was there at all. It made her smile again and continue smiling even as she reached out to take one of his hands by the wrist, giving it a light tug. "C'mon, then. I know a short cut back to Crystal Academy from here."
Amazingly enough, she did, laughing as she lead Sailor Eridanus through the various Destiny City roof tops. It was clear by how well she timed their jumps that this was a route she took frequently and that, on some level, she was showing that she trusted him more than just permitting him to be her escort back to the dorms. She was showing him her bird's eye view; the way she moved about and how she saw things as she was doing so.

The run was probably one of the most fun he'd had, either as a Senshi or as a student, and he was notably impressed by her enthusiasm for this stretch of rooftops in their free-run. Nice to see someone else who actually showed a degree of enthusiasm for mobility, and her enjoyment of it, which felt like a breif open window into 'Secrets to the Mind of Sailor Corvus', made her seem like a strange fit for Crystal, who he tended to imagine delicately aranging flowers and having tea, not running. "I'm at Meadowview." He told her, during a short break in the run as they approached the school, when he was sure she might be able to hear him over the wind of their run. "I wouldn't have pegged you as a Crystal girl, but I guess that shows what I know."

"As Sailor Corvus I'm not one." There was a slight smirk to be heard in her soft response to his statement as she paused their run only to drop down to the pavement from where they'd been perched, heels landing with a click. She waited until he was beside her once more before turning her gaze to him. "Beneath this, who knows... I could be anything. There could be a dozen reasons why I want to keep who you see before you separate from the girl who goes to school on the other side of that gate. If my parents knew what I was out here doing?"
The silence that followed should have stood as proof enough that they wouldn't have been accepting. Her father hadn't paid as much as he did to get her into Crystal. Her mother hadn't given birth to a rebel or an outlaw. What was it that Astraea had called them? Illicit?
"I haven't always attended Crystal Academy anyways..." Another brief window open, closed soon after as she continued. "Is this where we part for the evening, then? The gate's just over there. It's probably locked, but..."

"True..." He admitted. "I guess I've never thought as hard about trying to be someone else when I'm a student, but I can see where people would." If his parents new... his mother would be a wreck, even more so than when some family members had actually joined up with the army. She had a point though. She had several. Just seeing people through the eyes of weather or not they went to Crystal was a pretty narrow worldview. "I can walk you as far as your dorm if you want, but after that I should get going." He admitted.

"Crystal girls are known for being mean and snooty. We have a reputation to hold up... I mean, just take a look at Sailor Proxima." She smirked as she lead him across the street to where the gate was, placing gloved hands on it long enough to see if it was open. It wasn't, of course, but trying and hoping was at least a small part of her nightly routine.
She let her hands slide away from the metal, eyes focusing for a moment on the building on the other side. One more hop and she'd be there on the other side of that gate, ready to shed her super hero guise and just be Cordelia until the next time. "I'll leave it up to you as to whether or not you feel like climbing over the gate with me... I haven't been caught yet, but I've never had an accomplice either."

"Hey you're the Goddamn Batgirl. Batgirl doesn't get caught." He teased, grinning. "Besides I think we can both outrun any school security, except maybe dogs. Dogs might be challenging." He was only half joking about that, not sure if he'd be able to outrun a dog no matter what form. The quip about Proxima only made him grin a bit further. "Besides I can always go civi and pretend I was trying to coax you into trying to do something totally un-Crystal and scandalous. Like Jogging."

"Lucky for you, I don't believe that Crystal has thought to get guard dogs for their campus... I imagine it would offend someone's delicate sensibilities. Hillworth, on the other hand? They should have dogs keeping them in." Her nose wrinkled slightly, a bit of her 'Crystal girl' side showing briefly before she shook it off, looking at least slightly apologetic even if she didn't say so.
"I'm getting a bit tired to be outrunning anything anyways... So no dogs or security is a good thing. Now if only we could do something about this gate." She laughed, glaring at it for a moment longer before turning to walk along the wall, pausing where it seemed to be just a bit lower. "Think you could give me a boost?"

"Sure, no problem!" He offered, cupping his hands as though he were giving someone a lift onto horse back. "...And I promise not to look."
"I'm also glad I don't go to Hillworth." He added, chuckling. "Then we'd definitely have worse than a gate to contend with."
He'd always wondered why there was no female equivalent to Hillworth... and what on earth it would have been like if there was. Senshi alone proved that girls were just as capable of raising hell, so to speak, even if the Senshi generally did it for theoretically legitimate reasons.

"Such a gentleman." She smirked softly as she placed her foot in his hands, taking the boost so that she could climb up onto the stone wall that was closed by the iron gate they'd just been peering through. Once she was balanced she held her hand out to him. "My turn to give you a hand now... Up we go, Eridanus... My dorm's just right over this ledge." She smirked.

"My mama didn't raise a fool." He offered, reaching up to take her hand cheerfully as he climbed up, though it was largely for balance. "...You know, I kinda gotta wonder if Parkour was inspired by Senshi, or if Senshi just take ideas from Parkour."

"I think... That with as much of a rag tag band as we have it's very likely that we draw ideas from..." She pushed herself up into a standing position before eying the distance from the ledge to the ground only to hop down as if it were nothing. "... Just about everything and anything that's within our ability to do so." Grinning she glanced up, waiting until he was beside her again before she began her trek across the well manicured lawn of the Crystal Academy grounds.

"...Probably." He conceded, after looking thoughtful. "But you have to admit, picturing the guy in the bond film in a Senshi uniform sure adds an funny twist to that scene." He let his eyes wander slightly, taking in the grounds of the University he'd previously had no reasons to visit, or take much note of.
"... So do you ever jog, or is that against the rules of attending Crystal?" He asked, trying to be as nonchalant as possible.
... Eridanus was really a surprisingly bad actor when it came down to it, at least this side of belting out embarrassing show tunes.
