"Well, you go looking for youma to destroy," hedged Virgo, but apparently Scylla got it. She brightened up, linked her hands behind her back. "Okay. I'll be around Crystal Academy, if you want to meet up and patrol with me. I promise I will not bite! That is my Captain's job."
She tilted her head, circled around Scylla. "Your skirt is longer than mine," she noted with approval, "That's good. You're lucky, I think my skirt is the shortest skirt in existence ever." Her skirt was indeed very, very short. "The-- the--" She paused, then made a gesture encompassing the skirt, "it looks pretty!" Virgo would probably choose to never henshin again if her fuku hadn't looked so utterly adorable on her.
Still smiling, she looped an arm through Scylla's. "I've never done it, of course, I didn't really ever think about 'hey just how fast can I go' I was always more thinking about 'can I outrun this bad guy?' And I usually can, you know. If you want, though, I could try and time you? I don't have a cell phone like you senshi have, but I can count on my fingers if all else fails."

"... okay, sure." Scylla smiled. "What time do you want to meet up?" It couldn't hurt to join up with the other girl until she learned the "ropes" as it were. "And if you bit me, we might have a problem." she gave Virgo a quick smile.
Looking down at the skirt, Scylla frowned. "I don't know what it is called." she poked at the ruffles curiously before turning her attention to Virgo. "And that is a really cute outfit you have as well." It sounded like the right thing to say, given the situation.
Jada smiled a lot. Why was that? Why was she coping with things so well, and not angsting and agonizing over it? Oh, that was easy, her brain supplied. She wasn't coping. She was avoiding, and taking out details in small amounts. And anyways, Lisa and Vivian hadn't been close friends. They'd just been girls she knew. It was more the brush with her own death and the thought that it could have been her...
She shrugged the voice back in her head, looking over at Virgo. "We can save the timing for another night." Using her abilities had made her more tired than she'd expected. Maybe she'd been so hopped up on adrenaline the night before that she hadn't noticed? "Why don't you tell me more about these... youma?" she hid a small yawn behind her hand.

She started to head back towards Crystal Academy, heels clicking on the sidewalk; then she paused, pivoted on one foot, and said, "Do you live this way? I can walk you home, if you want."
Avoiding the question? Virgo? Never!
"I don't know much about the youma," she admitted, "I don't think anyone does. I know that there was a, a thing, where the Negaverse was cultivating stronger youma, but that's all I know. I don't know how they do it, they just sort of... do it."
With a helpless shrug, she looked back to Scylla. "I'm sorry I don't know more, Scy. I'd tell you if I knew!"

Jada nodded at Virgo's question. "I do." Technically, she had two places near Crystal that she could live. "You don't need to walk me home though, Virgo. I'll be fine." She'd gotten this far without running into anyone more than a mortal or two, who she'd hidden from on the fear they would recognize her. Now that she knew about this 'henshin magic' and that she was unrecognizable...
"And really, its alright that you don't know more. I guess it really should be enough to say 'youma bad, stay away'. I'm just nosy. And what do you mean the Negaverse was cultivating stronger youma?" oops, another question. "Do they control them or something?"
Their arms still looped, Scylla continued the walk towards Crystal.

"If you're sure," said Virgo; "do you have one of those senshi cellphone things?" Scylla did. Virgo put her work cell phone number in the phone's contacts, stared at it for a minute, green eyes narrowed. She vocalized her feelings on the Zodiacs not getting a phone: "Sigh."
But they were almost to Crystal by now, so she had to explain some things fast. "I mean they were, like, trying to strengthen corrupted starseeds or something. Like they do for youma. I don't have the words to explain it better, I'm sorry," she explained, feeling a little guilty for not knowing more. "They do control them, I've never seen one get attack by a youma, ever. And I've been on the job for a year and a half, almost." At the gates of Crystal, she hugged Scylla; and then, before the other girl could respond, she scaled the fence and dropped down to the ground on the other side.
Virgo smiled, waving through the bars, and ran towards the dorm buildings.
