This is what i personally think why thier are rapists in the world.
there can be many possiblities why rapist rape like for example men who misread cues that woman use for attention as other post they want to fill thier desires. Prostitutes are mainly the targets since rapest believe that they are nothing more than pleasure tools. Lack of self motivation, peer presure which causes them to drink-like parties when men date rapes sum1 beacuse thier drunk and the rapist has the power advantage, rapists often rape because of anger and they want to express it to thier victims, to humiliate, and to inflict damage or defile them beacuse they have a mental issue which tells them to continue to rape because they want to find 'the one and only', rapist would also consider violating someone because it gives them a sence of pleasure hurting thier victims to the point where they gain eroticsim from thier preys helplessnes, distress, anguish etc. Men would want to sexually abuse, dominate and rape woman because they want to show thier power over them or to possibly show thier masculinity to other people.
There are many ways why rapist rape in fact sometimes its hard to explain why they do it. Even if u ask a rapist in prison he would probably say he did it cause he wanted satisfaction from it, but it would still not mean why he should do it. I guess it's just a tweak in the brain which causes this action to take place in an individual.

I believe that its an emotional disorder and an internal issue they cant control... sometimes rapists have been raped in the past and its the only way they react to things just like child abuse if your are taught that way you usually teach that way

It is true, but it's better if you bring pepper spray with you, it's really strong and go to a karate class so you can protect yourself.

How do any of you know why a rapist rapes?
I am a rape victim. As I'm sure there are other rape victims here.
But. You can't say why a rapist rapes.
Theres no point in trying.
I spend alot of my time observing people and there actions.
It's all about the mental process.
A person from the time there born 'till the day they die, develope habits. Weather they be wrong or not. They have these habits. Some of them know it's wrong. Some of them don't. And some of them get lost in the moment and forget about everything 'till it's over and done. The guy that raped me. He knew what he was doing. And he has no problem with it.
There is NO death slow enough to kill those mother ********.

emeee I think mental problems, been abused, gives them a high, just feel like it, and out of control. i agree with this, but they really have no(good) reason to rape in my opinion
