Char had thought perhaps turning the conversation back to the mask would give the stallion a bit of time to settle and make peace with the thought of foals on the way and the mask really had seemed important to him - she'd feel badly if he never found it just because she'd gone and sprung this on him - and he'd just resent her for it later she was sure.
"I do hope so" She told the beast while turning her eye to the landscape in search of something gold. "Someplace safe?" She suddenly questioned, glancing about the area, she hadn't thought that far ahead yet. What was wrong with the area they were in? Was it dangerous? "Is this place not safe?" She asked him after a few moment - perhaps he knew something she didn't.

The stallion was stumped by that one. He wasn't sure. He didn't know the area that well. "I'm....Not sure...I don't think I've ever really been here before..." Was it safe? Would his basket brothers find him if he stayed here? "I don't know much about the area." Or any area for that matter. He was always on the move, always on the run. "...Then again I don't know many other places very well....Would you feel that you'd have everything you need if we," The stallion paused at the word, looking quiet awkward saying it. "...did stay here?"

Well it didn't sound like he knew something about this place that she didn't. He must just be nervous she thought to herself, which was understandable given their unique situation. She ought to just be happy that her unplanned misadventure had turned out the way it had - if she was going to have foals with someone she hardly knew...well she could probably do allot worse then Nabu. At least he seemed somewhat kind and willing to stick around.
"Well.." She began as she looked about "There is plenty of food..and water, though perhaps given the oddity it produced it might not be wise to drink that anymore..." she stated with a slight chuckle. "But maybe some better shelter would be good? It's rather open here isn't it?"
