"Combat? No. I just thought I'd learn so I can..." he looked at her and then smiled secritively. "Anyway, there is a good reason not to have a women on the ship. Men tend to fight over the ladies, expecially if there is only one on a ship and you are out to sea for months on end."

Aella considered that then went bright pink and hid behind her book. "G-g-g-g-good point!" she said quickly. She cautiously peeked over her book. "Well I have a couple books on combat techniques." she said. "I collect all sorts of books." she said. "I even have some...darker books." she said almost embarrassed. "I know that seems odd...I really shouldn't but I just can't help it when I find a rare book I just have to have it." she said.
She shook her head. "Anyway, I'm sorry I've gotten off topic." she said with another blush.

"No no, you aren't. You have darker books? What does darker books mean? black magic? or something else?" forbidden knowlage, maybe her bookd collection tendicies were a bit weird, but she might b the key to some of the information he was looking for. Combat books were already a good reason to fallow her home... Where was her home anyway. He'd half to ask.

"Um..." she nodded a bit. "Yes..." she said. "I didn't collect all of them...I sort of found the place I live and have just been adding to it over the years." she said. "I don't know what happened to the previous owner."
She shuffled and looked at him again. What was it about him that kept drawing her attention? Was it his dark blue eyes? His dark hair? She kept her eyes on him oblivious to the blush that was creeping up her neck to her face, her tail twitching slightly sending little chimes from the bell on it.

he nods. "Well, were exactly do you live? " he spotted another person heading tword him and stepped into the alley to avoid being walked through. He shot a glare at the person and stuck a foot out to trip them in annoayance. They really should pay more attention to him.

"Watch out!" she called out to the pedestrian and watched as the sidestepped. She glanced over at the male and then down at her feet. "Sorry..." she muttered.
"Uh...I don't know if I should tell you that...I mean I hardly know you at all." she fidgeted and subconsciously moved closer to him. "And...I don't think you like me." she looked up at him eyes wide.

"you aren't suposed to alert them." he grumbled quietly to himself and then looked at her, a sereious look in his eyes and a hand over his blood stained heart. "Of course I like you. you are very cute." he tugs at her blue hair with one hand. "You are intresting, if a bit confusing."

Aella nearly melted at his touch. She then instantly stiffened and tried to assert her back bone. "Well I..uh...maybe...if...I think..." she closed her eyes then shook her head. "Well I don't think its nice to trick people. Its inconsiderate. Its not their fault they're still alive." she said. "No need to hurry them to their grave." she said.
She looked back up at him. "Maybe...you could...escort me back home? Its sort of a long way...and was sort of dangerous...I had to be really careful coming here." she said. "We could get to know each other and just maybe I'd let you see the books when I got home?"

"Ahh, I supose I could. How far is home?" He smiled a little flirting with her. He knew he had her. few women had ever resisted him, even when he was alive. A faint memory, now, but he knew that much. Then the other mormery of when he was alive drifted in, the one he did not want to remeber. He shoved that thought away and faoused on the little pink dragon before him. Her worry about the mortal was a minor nusience, one he could ignore and a habit he could change about her later, if need be.

"Oh, um...Lockadia...or just outside of it." she said. "I know...I live sort of far away." she said. She wondered idly if he would refuse to take her home now.
A small part of her told her this would be a good thing. A distant memory trying to tell her that she should run not stay and continue to speak with him. She shoved them all aside. She was fascinated with the male. She couldn't help herself. "So what's your name?"

"i've never been there. Isn't it the city upon the water, the one that floats? I can't fly there but i supose we will take a ship then. a passenger ship, am I correct?" he smiled at her but in the back of his mind, he thought that maybe they would be attacked by pirtets, and he would go on a ship at sea, it would be exciting, even if nothing came of the voage.

Aella nodded. "Yes, but its only a short distance across the water. And safe." she added. "Nothing much ever happens on the water around the city." she said.
"Its a wonderful city though. Full of scholars and books." her wings ruffled in excitement at the thought of home and her library. "I love it there." she said in a rush. "But...I'm sure that's obvious." she said studying the cover of her book again.

"It looks like you would fit right in. the docks are down this way right?" He gestered to the way he just came from. He had passed them during his wantersa nd still found nothing of intrest.
His tail sished and he pushed his hair out of his eyes to check for any pedestrains, not wanting to be walked through.

Aella nodded and trailed after the other Ghostling. Her wings flicking her into the air and allowing her to hover after and deftly avoid other foot traffic. She kept an eye on him not wanting to lose him. She hovered around him admiring the way he moved.
"This way." she said pointing at a transport that was heading back up river towards the city. She darted up the ramp and found somewhere quiet to hide flicking her wings and tail around herself.

Romeo kept up with the dragon, carful not to loose her. it seemed strange to him that she would fly instead of just walk. It was easy enough to avoid the humans for the most part. He moved through them when he could not move around, not careing if he had too.
when she pointed out the boat he jumped on, and settled on the side near her, sitting out of range of the humans. "You afraid of the humans? this is the second time I caught you hiding."
