((oh, so you can control and manipulate the cloth with your energy. I didn't know that. All this time, I thought it was just a regular energy conductable cloth. Now it's a whole other story to be told here.))
The cloth was wrapped on Balance's throat as he jumped, and he began to feel himself being trapped, in a way. He had enough of this silly "assasination by cloth" business that Skai had attemped to deal to his last opponent. His eyes closed and reopen, revealing that the pupils have changed to an illuminating bright purple, while his skin had gotten slightly darker. Just before Balance raised his staff to slam Skai, he spewed a deadly light green acid(not made of the same properties as the staff) on the cloth around my neck, quickly eating through it. Some of the acid landed on Balance's chest, but he is immune to something of his own body. And if Balance wasn't mistaken, the lightning that Skai shot traveled through the cloth and was supposed to strike its target on the other end piece of it. But, if this is another misleaded assumption made by Balance, and it is a visable stream of lightning energy headed straight for his throat, then he gave the reaction of impulsively leaning his neck to the right to evade it, getting what looked to be a paper cut on the left side of his neck. All this was happening as Balance's staff just hit Skai's solidfied cloth defense. He should be expected to begin his decent back to land back on the ground due to gravity, but he remained in midair, further showing that he has the power of flight.
He pulled his staff back, and it's aura color changed to red. This gave the staff the effect of a scorching combustion burn on contact with not only organic things, but inanimite things as well, being well able to melt through metal. Soon as he pulled the staff back and changed it's aura, he darted to Skai as he was about to land, and used his gained momentum to speedily jab the butt end of the staff at Skai's lower right sternum, followed by a vertical upward blow to Skai's jaw. ((hmmm...so your energy that was flowing through your cloth allowed its control and manipulation. I understand that. But you failed to mention anytime earlier that it acted as a barrier to protect the rest of it. Energy isn't necessarily a naturally solid barrier when it is channeled through something. That's the same as me saying "Skai didn't know, but underneath my already darkened skin lied surging pure demonic energy that pulsed through my veins, and was esspecially strong in my neck. Naturally, this energy acted as a barrier to protect my delicate juglar and spine." Note: that was just an example, showing that what you said didn't make sense. Also, you use too much detail, which isn't completely wrong, it's just that you aren't being straight-to-the-point in the right places. By the way, I made only one misconception, and not adding the word speed in between lightning and energy))

~{Skai your grammer realy needs work. You got so many run on sentences. Big posts two like towers of illerate one must bypass. As for the cloth thing I got lost too what's going on! Acid could be repelled by energy, so Skai is right you should have just cut it.}~

((I've been trying to escape so many times because I saw no other way to aviod your energy shot. You say it like it's inevidable for me to get struck, or killed, when it's not. Fine, I'll put it this way, just to statisfy you))
Balance's spine was peirced, and his body from the neck down became paralyzed. Although, this mishap wouldn't matter to Balance, since the energy strike didn't affect the most important part of his body, his brain. The second he coudn't feel control of his body, a thin gray aura surrounded him, just barely giving away the simple explanation of telekinesis on himself, allowing him to regain management of all his limbs. Now that he can't use his muscles, his phsycic mind can flex and bend his bodyparts even quicker than before, ironically making his staff strikes even more powerful. On the other hand, what if the cloth was eventually somehow disposed off Balance's neck? Would the piercing energy acupuncture on his spine disappear and give him his muscle control again? We'll see. As for now, Balance was pulling his staff back from the block that Skai made. But, the cloth was being tugged back hardened, straight, and spearlike. Wasn't the cloth 9 1/2ft to begin with? Can Skai's energy control the length of the cloth as well? (This is getting ridiculous...we've been through that already)
Anyway, if Skai was to kick Balance's charging staff with his tabi-boot toes, his regular toes would probably have 3rd degree burn while the boot would be melted somewhat at the least, due to the aura change in the staff(you never mentioned when you landed on the ground). And, as Skai was trying to manuver himself out of the way of Balance's staff, he used this open oppurtunity to take his right arm and create a 1ft slightly curved white energy dagger that appeared to protrude from his forearm, swiping at the supposedly straight cloth, another attempt to disconnect it. Soon as he finished his swipe, the energized weapon disappeared as quickly as it came. Balance decended on the ground, if he wasn't there already, and stood straight to face Skai. (#6)

((Even in 'very low mid-air combat', you mention at what point your feet actually touch the ground, unless if your expecting me to assume when after I've just been wrong. Second of all, you can't just "switch up" your whole responded action when my previous post was specifically set up for you kicking my staff and avoiding any other contact with it by manuvering your legs and tail. And thirdly, my staff is 6ft long, leaving only 3 1/2ft of your spearlike cloth, that is, if your actions were to follow through correctly. This is what I would do if I saw this change of perspective.))
While jabbing the staff forward, Balance's eyes followed Skai's bodily movements when he sprung himself over to his right side. As he created his energy dagger and quickly swiped at the cloth, instead of making it disappear, Balance decided to swipe back over to Skai's body(at his lower abdomen or the front of his calfs, depending on how fast he was moving) to get a solid, deep slash in since Skai was conveniently close to his body. When Balance swiped back, there is a possibiltiy that his energy dagger cut through some of Skai's glowing strands of hair as they came to his face. He closed his eyes as soon as he saw the blinding light of the strands, taking away his energy sword(putting his hand on his face) and moving his head and face to his left, instinctively in the opposite direction. Continuing his lean, he rotated the rest of his body, turning to face Skai, who was apparently 11ft away from him.
Revealing already that he has phsycic powers, Balance read Skai's breif thought. "You should listen to your concience more...", he responed telepathically.(#7)

((I don't feel like discussing this any further. You formed your very long sentence that gave me the impression that you kicked it up in the air, now realizing that I was moving the staff upwards on purpose, that is if your body was still in front of me. I admit I was wrong in not clearly comprehending what you were trying to describe, but I'm not guilty for it being so illegible and not in a nutshell like I suggested))
Balance noticed he still had a piece of the cloth wrapped around his neck. So he snatched it off, now with the reassuring fact that without connection to Skai's hand, and surging of pure energy, it was back to the delicate fabric it once was. He thought about taking his telekinesis off of his body, but he decided to keep it since the fight was about to be over within a few minutes(in the rp time). When Skai motioned his hand for a small wave, assuming he shot it, Balance's whole body instantaniously shifted to his right, even though he appeared to not be moving a muscle. This action pretty much wouldn't make a difference in what would happened wether Skai shot his blast or not. It was instintive for Balance to do that in such kinds of danger. And Balance is happy for Skai showing some kind of sanity at all in this fight, in a deep, dark, precarious corner of his mind. (#8 )
(( gonk Speak english, genious!!! I didn't need you to do the math about that cloth! Just drop it and use some other weapon that you posess, because it's the basic reason we had this whole argument in the first place. One question, did you ever get hurt in this fight? (it's more like a sparring session the way I'm treating it...*smirks*heh)
Because it seems like to me, all you've been doing is fancy acrobatics around me.))

((Well, I shoudn't have to read your post over and over 3 times to actually get what your saying.))
Balance knew the climax of this sparring session has passed, so he decided to keep the action low until his time ran out. He just put his hands in his pockets and casually walked over to Skai, who was 11ft away. Closing his eyes while he walked, Balance heightened his other senses, waiting for Skai to do something...surprising. Then again, maybe not. (#9)
((You'll have to tell me who killed you later on, because I'm curious. And has anyone ever told you when rping, that you have to take some kind of damage in your fight, no matter how skilled you are? You only managed to give me a tap on my head, a small headache, and a paralyzation that has gone away.
Seemed like more to me.... rolleyes ))

Oh, I forgot to mention, Balance put his staff back diagnally on his backside BEFORE he put both of his hands in his pockets. Drawing closer and closer to Skai, he smirked noticing the flash in front of him, even with his eyes closed. Stopping about 4ft away from Skai, Balance folded his arms and opened his eyes, showing that they've changed back to normal, along with his skin color. He stared directly into Skai's gem eyes, ignoring the glowing cloth ball. If Skai were to launch his mysterious ball at him at anytime, then Balance would quickly pull his leg back far and give a devastating soccer kick at it back to Skai. (#10)
((Getting a free haircut...ISN'T considered damage. No wait, *gasp* surprised YOU MADE A FUNNY???!!! I'm surprised.
And nope, it's too late. I don't want you to alter anything. My whole point of this fight was to make this a learning experience for you...if you take my advice. Even if I was appearing to be "weak" towards you, it was only because I didn't feel it to be fair if I overwhelm you with my hidden powers in the beginning. We'll need a much longer fight for that...
domokun And one last piece of advice: Improve the background and abilities of your rp character, because not everyone will be as merciful as I just was. It's as if your practically human, except those pulse thingies you were doing.))
