Hmmm... Me and Panda had been discussing that issue for some moments... It's just plain stupid that people are offended by Harry Potter. I mean, the series, teaching witchcraft?! WTF?! J.K. Rowling is a storyteller for goodness' sake!
And the Desktop is awesome! I like the darky feeling... Anyways, I once put up a Voldemort background... All black just him in the middle and it was awesome! But I changed it because of the taskbar below... Blue or silver scheme didn't match it.

About your Desktop: I think it's awesome.
About anti-HP people: I wrote my term paper on the subject. And, if your parents did the necessary research, they would find that all the good in Harry Potter far outweighs the bad, and that it definitely does NOT teach witchcraft.
I recommend buying this book and making them read it.
In fact, I have a quote from J.K.R herself that says: "Harry Potter" deals extensively with Christian themes may be somewhat ironic, considering that many Christian leaders have denounced the series for glamorizing witchcraft."

My mum and Dad don't mind me reading it, as long as I don't get obsessed. They're Christians as well. Nice desktop.
Daniel Radcliff ruined my opinion of Harry Potter. As in the character, not the books.

I'm reading some parts of the What's a Christian to do With Harry Potter? at the moment... Hmmm... Interesting... Oh! I want to share my desktop too. Please, don't criticize my OS and some stuffs there. I haven't changed the names of the folders and stuff, I got lazy. I just want to share my background. I love it! My Desktop too!

It's actually just a small picture. By choosing the picture in the middle (I could choose to stretch it, Voldie goes baddie), I chose the space on the sides to be black... XD Thank god for Voldie's picture for being black.
