The eternal romantic Eilian was had her envisioning this in her mind. A gentle wind blowing down the halls as with glossed lips, bright eyes, and soft pink hair the Goddess walked down the halls. Underclassmen squealed and friends caught them as they fainted dead away when Robin's eyes roved across them. A high school star of the blogosphere? Pigtails quivered as she tried to hold back, and then collapsed into, laughter.
"Ha indeed! I am dying to know how I'm keeping myself from falling into a swoon at your feet, I am. You must have turned your charm off, and I am grateful for your benevolence." Slowly her giggles burbled down into a bright smile, and she leaned one elbow on the table, chin in her hand. "You know, I've been in girls boarding schools my whole life. I'm not sure I'd really know how to react to a boy that wasn't like one of my stories. And then, those aren't boys, you know?"
Wistfully, Eilian sighed at her poor lack of life experience. "Maybe someday I'll meet my prince...or princess. Who knows."

'Turned her charm off?' Robin blinked at the laughter with wide, surprised eyes. Why! Didn't Eilian realize that she was the benefit of the height of Robin's suavity, right now?
... Okay, maybe not. But it was a good excuse for Robin to practice her sour look, and so she did. "Well, the Crystal girls with taste, anyway," she amended. Folding her hands in front of her, pursing her lips prudishly, she sniffed haughtily at the Crystal girl, clearly offended by the implication that Eilian wasn't trembling to drop panties for her right then. That seemed to be as far as she could milk it without losing her composure, though - a snort of laughter slipped through, and within seconds, she'd dissolved into equal giggling hysterics as Eilian.
But then the conversation turned - as it must, given the date - to Eilian's poor situation. Imagine! A romantic like her, locked up in one boarding school after another. Even an Anti-Valentines-er like Robin had to appreciate her struggle - enough so, at least, to nod sympathetically and run down the mental checklist of single boys she knew. (It was, sadly, not a very long list.)
"What you need," Robin decided after a few slow moments of thought, "is a ball." A few more seconds of thought. "With masks and dancing and chandeliers." That was where one typically met princes or princesses, wasn't it?
