Variscite was trying to move towards Virgo. 'Trying' being the key word.

Variscite was on her stomach, looking like something out of a horror film. Some lurking, horrible beast.

The bluenette backed up a few steps, and then a few more. It was telling, maybe, that she didn't respond to Variscite's words; maybe they'd gotten to her somehow. The dark-haired Lieutenant would never know, because Sailor Virgo turned tail and ran.
