Ame Tenshi

For those who think and those who know,
There is always a danger,
A danger beyond all comprehension,
So to be idle and wait a while would be a new kind of detention,

Ame looked at him and watched as his black fur gave way to a beautiful brunette with natural highlights. Her blue eyes followed the black ash as it washed down his body to the ground. Some of it got on to her but she didn't mind. She felt him grip her top and she looked to his face, "Would it be easier if you had something more?"

"I only have my healing saliva," she responded. She nearly jumped when she heard the other man's voice. Her eyes shot over to him and she crocked her head to the side. Her stomach eased as the smell of the felines blood was washed down by the rain. "Well, since none of us love the rain we can go to my place its not far from here." Her eyes examined the male in front of them with curiosity as she adjusted her hold on the cat.

"We will get you the help you need Sedrick," she said and tightened her hold on him.

So to be in the dark,
Is to be alive for a new start,
Don't be naive and think to part,
For we will once again be placed in danger.

Sedricks Theme

Sedrick would Look towards her and shake his head slightly, His left leg which wasn't injured continue to move as she did, until she suddenly stopped, Sedrick's Blue spheres becoming hidden behind light lids before flicking back open. He looked toward the same direction as Ame as he would look towards the general area rather puzzled, someone offering help? This was most unusual for the feline but he wouldn't likely turn down such an offer. He was still rather puzzled by Ame's second statement, her saliva could heal? Was that normal for humans? Sedrick wouldn't really know considering he never really asked one, or ever heard of such a thing. It was then he started to question if she was in fact human at all, perhaps she was one of those half breeds he heard about, it was hard for him to say for sure.

Sedrick looked towards the Elven man, taking in a quick glance, and the simple offer of help was more then enough to win him over. "Sounds good to me, as long as this pain stops." In all honestly Sedrick was rather uncomfortable about being helped in such a way, he'd rather continue his travels but it seems that would be on hold for a moment at least. He wasn't overly surprised to hear that Ame lived within the city, he thought it only natural for her race, well, what he believe to be her race. He couldn't help but smile towards Ame and the Elf, the feel of her hold tightening upon him was most comforting and the thought of having his wound seen to was more then a welcome offer.

"Well that settles it then, lead the way Ame, oh uh.... whats your name elf?" Sedrick stated, first looking off down the street before looking back to the elf, tilting his head in curiosity as his right ear twitched for an answer. These two people with Sedrick would be considered friends to him, considering for him its not every day one person helps him walk and another offers medical treatment. For a mainly human populous town, it wasn't half bad.

Doppelganger Jiko
as
{The Elvish Wanderer Vaelnephrin}
Level 1: Spell Sword

Confidence radiated out from the elf. He seemed to have no doubt whatsoever in their motives nor their opinions: His chiseled face remained in a polite and elegant smile, only his eyes casually moving over them. But beneath the elf's cool and calm surface broiled a doppelganger burning with questions. He wanted to know everything about the cat-kin, from his preferred diet (fish? Poultry? Or something unexpected?) to his grooming habits. And more than all that, his skills, his travels, and his attachments (it was much easier to impersonate unknown people). He wasn't the only one, though.

The woman had looked human from afar. But what was this? Her saliva healed? Now-now, that wasn't a human trait at all. She would make a charming new study subject herself. He hadn't ran into...many...of her kind.

As he was filing away some key information ("my place...not far"; "..Sedrick"; "...Ame."), the elf moved to walke alongside them. His head was already poorly drenched, but he was attempting to pull the back of his shirt up and over the back of his head. He succeeded...barely.

"I am called Vaelnephrin." He attempted a graceful bow, but it was awkward in his current position. "You may call me Vael."
Green, piercing eyes settled on Sedrick, filled with an intense, yet non-violent energy. Catching himself, the elf replaced the look with a more air-headed smile. "Do you need anymore help?" He offered his arm, "Not that I don't think miss here can do it herself, just..maybe less pain? And, as lovely as this walk as been, aren't there any shortcuts?" Nobody better than locals to describe the special hiding and movement places! "I am not keen on opening the wound any further; I'm sure you would agree." Humor was always a good way to drop guards...

Ame Tenshi

For those who think and those who know,

A danger beyond all comprehension,
So to be idle and wait a while would be a new kind of detention,

Ame got a bad feeling about the man who offered to help. It was definitely not normal for someone to do that. She gazed at him quietly but said nothing as she continued to walk. Her blue eyes turned the elf and back to the road as she lead them to her part-time apartment.

She listened as the elf spoke to them and she nodded lightly, "Pleasure to meet you Vael," she said and glanced at him, "My name is Ame Tenshi, this is Sedrick." Though she was being friendly she thought to herself that she would not share any information with this man, even with the kind and good energy coming off the other she felt like she couldn't completely trust him. She shook it off glad that the other was helping her new companion and decided to leave it at that.

Hearing Vael ask about short cuts she shrugged lightly, "That I wouldn't know, I just began living here myself so any short cuts and etc are still unknown to me," she shook her head lightly attempting to keep some water out of her eyes, "Help would be greatly appreciated." She knew that if she wanted to she could easily lift and carry the other with her inhuman strength but that would give away her true self which she knew to keep to herself, that is something she learned from her father.

So to be in the dark,
Is to be alive for a new start,
Don't be naive and think to part,
For we will once again be placed in danger.

Sedrick's ears would twitch slightly at the elf's words, Ame managing to keep moving as Sedrick continue to hop along side her, keeping pace in this pouring rain. he remained quiet, considering Ame seemed more then content to introduce them both, although he would express his gratitude. "Yes, a pleasure Vael." he stated, continuing as his eyes kept darting around the dampened night streets, looking and preparing to turn when Ame chose to, considering he had rather little choice in his own movements as of yet.

He took note of Ame's acceptance of the aid, as it seemed Sedrick would keep his mouth shut again, feeling as though his say wasn't really needed, after all the less pain he fault on this walk the better. He loosened his other arm, preparing for the elf to take action upon his offer, he didn't know if it was a long walk so the more weight he could remove from his leg was most welcome. Although he was already growing a little fidgety, already growing tired of the slow pace, he was used to his more energetic movements. This particular method of movement was causing him to feel drained and slightly bored. "I'm bored... are we there yet?" He stated, looking towards Ame with eager eyes, tail flicking a little more as he asked, his feline nature becoming more clear, or perhaps he was just in the mood to be playful.

The heavy rain didn't seem to bother Zev, in fact he welcomed it, it had been a while since he felt the rain on his skin. He gave a sigh and realized that most of his clothing will be wet right through. He was also sick of his hair being tied back, he normally liked it out of the way but he felt like he wanted it down. He took is jet black hair out of the pony tail he normally has it it and it flowed just a inch more past his shoulder blades.

He also removed his headband for he saw no reason to hide who he really is when he's not working, really he just hid most of his features so customers or clients wouldn't feel intimidated by him. As Zev was walking he started to think he was heading the wrong way, but shrugged it off. It was getting a little late for people to be seeking work anyway, if he was heading the wrong way he would just find a place to crash for the night.

As he was walking the sound of thunder crashed and echoed through out the streets, "Hm, I wonder if the storm will be big tonight?" he thought out loud as he continued walking, slightly faster than most people walked.

In the middle of a trail on the way to the gates were a group of three. Two males and one felmale. A plesant smile curled to both sides. "Hmm,...some fun for us today?" A male voice said outloud. All that was seen was a silotte of a demon of some sort, horns, bat-like wings and a tail. The shape changed to a shapely woman with car ears and a tail. " Why yes. We have never better to do." The new female voice siad with a light purr afterwards. She jumped off the tree branch she stood on and ran to the side. Following the trail, they were on. "Feh,...I'm not fast enough. " She mumbled to her counterpart as she changed into the demon man again, his shirt flapping in the wind as he began to fly. He dodged the branches in his way and was slightly ahead of the group. He stood in front of the trail and changed to his other form. "Heh." She fell to ground as to look like she fainted, as she was in her other form, she made sure to get good enough scratches on herself to make it believable.

xxxxxIt was a cool evening stormy evening as Elaine made her way back home from her latest delivery. She had to walk to the other side of town in this horrid weather in order to get the handmade doll to the Olear household. Mrs. Olear, a rather boastful woman, wanted to get a doll for her daughter's tenth birthday. Not just any doll.. A custom made one, but not many shops in the area took orders like that. Elaine on the other hand loved custom orders. They were rather fun, in fact most of her doll orders were built to the customer's desire.

xxxxxA strong breeze blew Elaine's long skirt back, and threatened to pull the umbrella out of her hand. Clutching the Winters' Grimoire under her arm she kept glancing around for anyone attempting to sneak up on her. Yes, it was rather dangerous for a girl her age to be walking around at this time of night by herself, but that didn't stop her. Even though she was an untrained mage, Elaine was confident enough with her magic that she could at the very least defend herself.

xxxxxTurning onto the wide High Street she seemed a bit relieved to be almost home. However, just a few steps in front of her was an older boy just walking around in the rain with no means of cover. Was he crazy? “You're going to catch your death if you stay in this rain.” Elaine usually wouldn't speak to strangers, but when she saw someone committing a stupid act she wouldn't hesitate to point it out. Squinting, she tried to see him better through the rain, but the most she could make out was male, black hair, muscular, and in his late teens.

As Zev looked up towards the sky, the rain was gracefully sweeping his skin. He thought he wouldn't find or see anyone outside in this kind of weather, but he was a little wrong. He heard a small timid voice from behind him, he turned around to see a young girl holding a umbrella which was covering her face from his view.

He was surprised that someone so young would try to approach him, wasn't she intimidated by his aura? This would be a first since about 4 years ago. He gave a small smile which she probably couldn't see due to the weather, and simply said "The rain is something I welcome, unlike most people. It helps to wash away unwanted feelings or memories." This was how he always felt about the rain, but why was he telling a complete stranger this? Even he did not know.

One more bolt of lightning struck then, and a huge gust of wind blew which moved his hair away from his forehead to revile his horns on his temples, if the young girl did see them, he would suspect her to run away screaming demon like so many have done before. "By the way, you say I shouldn't be out in the rain, what about yourself? You're far too young to be out here by yourself."

xxxxxElaine watched him closely just in case, because living alone at taught her that you shouldn't place trust too easily. Tilting up her umbrella just a bit in time to see his horns growing out of his head. She was quite shocked at first, but that was quickly replaced with curiosity. The girl had never met a demon before; only read about them in whatever books she could get her hands on. They were said to be cruel and dangerous, but the boy appeared harmless enough. He did give off a strange feeling, but it hardly seemed murderous.

xxxxxFrowning at his comment about her being too young she quickly retaliated the remark, “I may be young, but I am more than capable of taking care of myself.” Elaine knew that girls at her age weren't usually working or living by themselves; at age 15 they were usually looking for a husband. Elaine at no interest of desire to get married, instead she saw it as a burden.

xxxxxSighing she wondered if he had a place to even stay, after all she always saw him wandering the streets at night. “Well.. The rain is nice and all, but what if you get sick? Is your house near here?” Elaine knew how terrible it was to get sick when your earnings were just a little more than enough to get by. Still frowning, she thought of getting ill then having to take money from her savings to make up for the lost wages.

((Sorry I was doing things >.<;; Brb soon too. Going to get ice cream with my older brother and sister in law.))

Zev chuckled to himself slightly at the girl taking defence about her age, many people were like that. Willing to defend themselves saying they are more than they appear, which was normally true. He looked at the girl a bit more closely and noticed a hardback book under her arm. It looked like it was some kind of spell or summoning book of some kind. He wondered if this girl even knew how to use it, not that he could help in that area anyway.

Zev gave a small sigh to himself, at the girls question about a house. Ever since he became a mercenary he saw no point in owning a house if he was never going to be in it for more than few days a month. He knew what was going to be coming once he said he didn't have a place to stay, this girl would probably offer a space at hers for the night.

He always wondered why people would do that for complete strangers, although he always tried to help people when they get into awkward situations. May be it just came with human instinct which his ancestors picked up over time. "I don't own a home, I just sleep wherever I can. Normally its in forests under trees during some of my jobs. I don't really mind it, I can keep all my valuables with me at all times then." He then subconsciously reached for a pendent he was wearing around his neck, it meant alot to him and he would rather die than part with that one item he owns.

xxxxxElaine felt like he didn't believe her when he started to laugh to himself. She felt her face flush up with slight embarrassment. She almost felt like showing him how handy she was with magic, but thankfully she settled the boiling anger to a simmer.

xxxxxWhen he mentioned sleeping outside Elaine shook her head to the thought. If he stayed out all night in this weather here in Riverrun he would become very ill! Biting the inside of her lip she had a self argument about if she should offer a place for the night. Well.. She did have plenty of eyes that could keep watch on him 24/7 just in case he tried anything fishy...

xxxxxTaking a deep breath she spoke, “I have a couple spare rooms in my house; you may stay in one for the night if you wish.” Elaine wouldn't be able to sleep at night if she had just left him to sleep outside in this terrible weather, and since she lived alone she didn't need to get an okay from anyone about him staying.

Zev saw the small flush come across her face this made him chuckle a little more, be decided to stop to save her further embarrassment. He could see some uneasiness around her, like she was thinking about something long and hard before making a final decision. He had a pretty good idea of what it might be, and once he heard her give a suggestion a small smile came across his lips.

He knew he would do no harm to the girl but many would think otherwise, and Zev likes to see if people are sure about there decisions. "You offer me, a stranger, a place to stay and yet you know nothing about me, not even my name. For all you know I could possibly rob you while you sleep, or even try to kill you. Why would you take a risk like that?" He had no malice in his voice, more of curiosity than anything else. He knew he would never do anything of the sort, but many people could try and do things like that, whether they are demons or humans alike.

The main reason he was asking the young girl this was to see how she would react to this kind of question, and also if she would stand by her original decision. Zev had a thing about people being indecisive about what they want to do, with themselves or otherwise.

Kenta had his glass f water and was running along the path. That's when he saw what appeared to be a woman who had been beaten up or something. Cursing his luck he slid to a stop and looked around. He know was standing just above the woman he bent down placing his two fingers against her neck to feel for a pulse. His other hand still held the glass of water which thanks to the rain was now overflowing a little.

Kenta was a person that few understood because he acted instead of speaking. He sighed feeling that she had a decent pulse. He slowly put the glass down and was going to pick her up. The process was simple. He would roll he over and bend her knees up. Then he would quickly pull her up with her arms making her supposedly limp body stand for a second with his left hand holding her left he pulled it over his shoulder, while still bent over he grabbed her ankle and hoisted her onto his shoulders. This action is known as a fireman's carry. He still being bent over grabbed the glass as best he could and slid it into his belt so it was half in his pants. Uncomfortable but he had an important use for this glass. He then stood and began to carry her to where he could dry her off and help her out as best he could.

xxxxxElaine looked at him thoughtfully when he asked his question, “At first I was unsure, but then I remembered Grandpa would of hit me if I left you in the rain.” She laughed a bit as she spoke. Even though he was forgetful he would always help anyone he could; he was the picture of a nice guy.

xxxxx“Also..” Elaine started again after her slight pause, “I've met some homicidal murders, and thieves before... Sure, you're a demon.. But you don't give off the same feeling.” So what if the boy gave off a strange vibe? As far as she could remember it was similar to her grandfathers.. Not completely the same.. Just similar. He couldn't be bad..

xxxxx“As for names.. You can call me Elaine, Elaine Winters.” The girl gave her name first knowing it was rude to ask for anothers' name without speaking yours first. “What can I call you?”
