Still not sure on how to react, Walküre listened to what Variscite had to say. History was strange. For as far as the world had progressed though, there was a lot of ways in which it hadn't. One of the ways it for sure was still backwards was that no one really taught how to handle these kinds of situations.
Falling in Love with Your Mortal Enemy 101
A sweet smile came across her face as Variscite thanked her, and Walküre began to say the words "you're welcome" just as she watched her collapse to the ground.
Minutes ago, she would have been happy to hear moans of pain coming from the other woman, now she was mortified. She quickly went over to her, and put her arm under Variscite's head, tilting it up slightly.
"Thank you... I guess...." she responded. She couldn't help but think, "of course I'm better at fighting... I always was anyway."
Her eyes narrowed with concern, and her brow wrinkled when she inspected the damage she did close up. "You need medical attention," Walküre said knowing full well that neither of them could step foot in a hospital. Hopefully, the Negaverse had a doorstep she could drop her at.

Well, this was quite a different turn of events. They had been wrestling, clawing, and biting. They called each other names, and both of them were intent on maiming each other, if not killing.
Now, one was cradling the other's head, and they were both smiling. Well, one was TRYING to smile but it came out more like a demented grimace.
"Don't worry, I have connections. Obviously I can't take you there, but..." Variscite paused to wink one of her bruised eyes, which was already half-shut. "Believe me, if I could I would. I'd love to see a pretty lady first thing when I wake up."
Variscite tried to stand up, but she looked more like a fawn trying to stand up for the first time. Her legs were shaking so, so hard.
"Senshi of Battles... I'm glad I finally got to see you, again. I wanted to see you so badly. I'm not sure I had the best reasons." She laughed again, hoarsely.
"But don't worry, I'll bounce back. I always do, I promise."

This certainly was a strange turn of events. Although, they do say what you hate most in others, you hate most in yourself. Perhaps both of them just had misdirected rage?
None of that was important right now though. How things happen never really matters in the long run, only that they happen.
Walküre stood up, and straightened her skirt. It didn't exactly look the best that it could. Her new outfit was pretty trashed. She sighed. At least it somehow sewed itself back together each time she transformed.
Unsure of what to do next, Walküre walked up to Variscite and placed her hand in her's. She could feel it shaking. "When you bounce back, I hope you have better reasons to look for me then."
Leaning in closer, she gave Variscite a soft kiss on the cheek. "Until we meet again," she said in her ear before she turned and dashed off into the night.
