"Water?" He asked, somehow, in some strange way his mind had not connected the beach with water, with the ocean. He suddenly froze and cringed. "Err..." he stuttered, "Im not all that..great...at swimming...s-sorry." He admitted, but still too embarressed to say the real reason. "But..I might still be here. And i will be sure to try and visit if i do leave these lands beofre the heat of summer comes." He smiled, "I would love to spend time with you...just not swimming...if that is alright." He laughed nervously.

Rupali winced and shook her head so that her eyes were covered by hair, she could see where she was going it was just a very silver veil over her eyes.. Oh it was embarrassing to be so stupid as to think someone would actually want to spend a long amount of time with her. He was just being nice and getting to know her and these lands and then he'd move on. She was an idiot. Her own embarrassment and hurt prevented her from really thinking anything of his reaction to swimming, "Oh.. well that's fine.. My herdmate, Ignaia hates swimming because it extinguishes her hair while she's in the water.. Fen doesn't care if he looks bald but she does... so yeah.. nothing to worry about."

Ceros immediatlyh noticed her reaction, he walked up infront of her and lowered his head, "Is something wrong Rupali?" His vioce was quite concerned. Her face was shot with red and pink and she was hiding her face. "Did i say something to ffend you or make you uncomfortable?"

She blushed a bit more and just shook her head, "Oh no.. I'm fine that's.. I'm fine.. but uhm.. we're not going to uhm make good time if we don't get going nor or something yeah.." Her tail wrapped itself protectively around her hind leg as she picked up a bit faster of a pace. Lord, Ceros had other people he wanted to spend time with, she should have realized that. Stupidshtupidstupid. She managed a strained smile and then went so far as to pick up a trot, figuring that she'd just run off a bit of her own stupidity

Ceros was not convinced and trotted right beside her. "We don't need to hurry. i dont have anywhere to be," he chuckled. "I only know a few horses in these lands, and i very much enjoy my time with you Ru." He smiled and looked down at her still red face. "Are you sure i have not said anything wrong? You are quite flushed."

Ru had figured that trotting would make her feel less ridiculous and it was helping, and now she had a good outlet for the red in her face, "Oh.. I just don't get enough exercise I guess.. I mean I walk a lot but don't get out for good hard runs the way I should...." She offered the feeble excuse up and then gave a sideways glance as they kept pace with each other, "I enjoy my time with you too Ceros... I.. I.. uhm.. Let me know if I ever try to jealously guard that time too much."

Ceros flicked his large ears, knowing it was an excuse. "You dont have yto worry about that! No one really needs me for anything, I dont see why i couldn't spend more time with you." He smiled kindly and poked her forehead gently with his horn. "Silly Ru." He chuckled fondly.

She stuck her tongue out at him and then continued on contentedly, letting any worries that were fluttering around go... Inwardly though she let a stray thought filter through her mind, "Be careful girlie.. he could hurt you and never have any idea of the damage done."
