She tried to pronounce his name "Demetwee." Her eyes squinted, she didn't think that was exactly it, but she was terrible currently at pronouncing many words, so she gave a heavy sigh of defeat. Though she perked up when he told her how he'd show her to follow a scent trail. She listened. "Oonikee." She gave a nod of her head, as though she completely understood even though truthfully she probably didn't.
She watched him with a tilted head, then copied what he had just done by sniffing the area where she had trod. It was familiar to her, it smelled like herself, which she found odd and amusing, and when something amused her she could not help but give a giggle.
"Otay, soopwise Mommy and Dadah." Her tail swished, wondering how long it would take to get home. When her stomach grumbled again a couple minutes later she whined, not loud or as piercing as her earlier wailing. "I hungee!"

"Dimitri" He corrected hoping she would catch the pronunciation, but really he supposed it didn't really matter. Maybe she was finally catching on though because she followed his lead and she looked ready to go home.
He heard the whine then and his ears drooped, so much for that idea, yes that was right kits had to be fed. this was becoming quite the trial, he sighed and turned to her "Alright, alright don't worry...what do you want to eat?"
Hopefully she would want something they could catch quickly and he could send her back on her merry little way.

Inanna blinked, concealing for just a brief millisecond her dark chocolate eyes when he repeated his name. She gave a shake of her head and a tiny snort, but tried to pronounce his name, though had to sound it out first. "Deeh-mee-trr-e. Dimitri?" She thought, what a name, why couldn't it be simple like Demi or Rift, even Trouble or Lookaz. She just hoped she didn't run into anyone too soon with an even more complicated name. At least it was complicated to her.
She gazed up at Dimitri when he asked that question, her tail flicking behind her. "Wabbit?" She was utterly sick of the little mice, rabbits were delicious treats, though more difficult than rabbits to find or catch even though she'd never caught one. She was to small for that yet, mice now were not so difficult for her if they were the tiny ones that weren't to quick.
"A pink wabbit!" she giggled, for she'd never seen such a rabbit before. However her giggling stopped as her eyes widened when her stomach rumbled even louder than before. Maybe she'd missed lunch, but she was certain that her parents and siblings would have noticed that. Where were they, she wondered, unless she was miscalculating the time, because of how hungry she felt and apparently sounded.

Well at least she managed to pronounce his name, of course only moments later she pronounced her absurd desire for a pink rabbit. No doubt there were pink rabbits or at least rabbits with pink markings somewhere in telk, but he wasn't about to go hunting one down! Really she was trying his patience, it was no wonder he had no fox friends, no kits of his own.
"Just...sit here, sit still, I'll bring us a rabbit, and then your going home." He nodded firmly and eyed her a moment worried she would go off and get herself lost...again. He scampered into the dark underbrush his nose eagerly twitching in search of any nearby warrens.
His ears pricked as he finally realized one had to be concealed below a nearby tree root that was oddly curved up. He crouched low and slunk towards it, yes, yes there were rabbits within. His mouth watered at the idea of a plump juicy rabbit.

Inanna's tail swayed, she was hungry and would do whatever necessary to be able to partake of some tasty morsel. Though it would be difficult for her to sit completely still. She blinked as he moved away, yawning, curling into a ball. She closed her eyes, to drift on an invisible cloud. She didn't fall asleep, but her eyes had felt heavy. It had to be later than she'd predicted and she wondered if her parents were indeed worrying about her. Were they looking for her? Ah well, all in good time.
She murred slightly as she imagined a piece of juicy rabbit in her mouth. When it came to getting fed, it was one time she was able -- just -- to keep from moving or making to much noise. Still once she was fed, she'd be filled with energy, and when she was bigger she'd come back and get that old fox to play tag with her. Maybe she'd bring her siblings too, that way he'd be out-numbered. She giggled once, though it was low, muffled by her front paws. She opened her eyes to look about and make sure she hadn't disturbed anything.
She couldn't see them, from her position but there was a rabbit with three smaller rabbits hopping about, trying to dig out the fallen in dirt from their little warren.

Dimitri waited a moment before darting forth with quick and accurate speed, his jaws clamped on one baby bunny, and then another. He might have gone for them all, but the truth was he didn't need too and wasn't one to waste. He scooped up the tasty morsels and headed back to Inanna grateful that she was curled up and still where he had left her.
He moved and dropped the small rabbits infront of her before sitting down and licking his lips. "Well go on, eat up..." He urged.

The little kit stretched, blinking her eyes open, murring low. Then she heard him speak about eating up and her tail wavered. She could smell the fresh bunny kill, causing her stomach to rumble. She giggled, "Twankoo." She dug into the rabbit with gusto. Inanna knew that she was often hungry, and sometimes wondered if her siblings were afflicted with the same 'bottomless pitt'.
Once she was full, she sat up, watching Dimitri. He was the first creature she had met other than her immediate family members. No doubt had she known all the foibles of wandering away of more dangerous creatures she would have perhaps counted her lucky stars. Her ears flickered as she thought she heard something, turning her gaze that way, but it had only been the rustling of some bush as the wind blew by.

"Your welcome..." He muttered softly and then offered her a soft smile. "Come on, lets go find you your parents hmmm?" He stood and gave a shake moving to lead her back to the cooling trail. He followed it easily enough, he had been scouting long enough for Twix now to know all around the territory of the pack.
"You take care now..." He finally offered her as they approached her parents den, the scent here was strong, other kits, and adults. He had no desire to mingle though, the kit could find her way from here.

Inanna's tail wagged as they drew closer to the den. She could smell the familiar scents of those whom she had known since her birth, even before then. It had been a fun and adventurous day, and she'd met someone totally knew. She wondered how many others she might come to meet in future.
She looked almost forlorn that it was time to part, but she was tired and missing her family members. "Tank oo foe bwinging me 'ome." She quickly tried to nudge her kit body against his leg as she did her parents before darting toward the den with a carefree giggle, into the only place she had thought of as home. Hopefully her parents would not be to upset with her. She also wondered if any of her siblings might be a little jealous at all of her little escapade.
Perhaps she would keep silent about it, unless pressed, as she did not care to make them mad at her for going off and not having them tag along with her... those whom might have wished to do so.
