The air would begin to crackle with magic again from behind him. Ceh's hand would go to his blade by instinct but in the end, it was a false alarm. The girl had more than jus a mangy fire breathing mutt under her command and that was a bit hilarious to him. Glancing from one to the other, Ceh saw the resuls of the girls work. Grinning to hismelf and shaking his head, he ent back to checking the Portal.

The smell of burnt fur filled the room and fouled it up. It was actually a blessing that the wall was torn wide open because if it had been sealed as tightly as it should ahve been... they'd be sufficating on the scent right now. The only possible blessing in this was that singed fur smelt a little better than wet fur and at the current moment, burnt overwrote wet... Ok, so it was frozen fur right now but you get the idea.
Goblin A was rolling around on the ground trying to put out the patches of fire that were croping up on its fur. Eventually it would roll into the face down Goblin B who had patches of ice scattered across it's body. Combined they would begin to heal each others ailments. The ice would melt and put out the fire. As for Goblin C, he found a difficult time getting back up as he was now electrically charge and the room was completly steel. He would eventually get back to his feet and look to the ground. Having hit the wall, several objects fell loose. Picking up a stray pipe, he would fling it at the girl.
His two friends would follow suit.

HP 1680 |MP 255 | AP 330 | DR 18 | MDR 20 | The three came at her but now they had gotten just a tad smarter and where using pipes but thye lacked the strength to properly hit her with it. Seira was getting tired of having to fight the three stupid little monkeys. Of course whacking them with her staff and been quite fun along with burning them along with some other things but now a very thick and disgusting smell filled the air. "Oh god.... man I'm going to suffocate oh... you you guys ever take showers!? Not even thinking about what she was doing she began to perform a summon calling on Slyph Maybe she can bring in a little fresh air into here....

A huge gust of wind shot up through the corridor. Ceh, again, reached for his blade as he had been trained to do countless times but once again, it was not needed. He had heard the fight going on but figured she wasn't screaming bloody murder nor did it sound like the goblins were eating her flesh so she must be ok. He eased off his blade and continued to work.
It was obvious to him by now that this protal had been tampered with but the problem was, who did the tampering? Had Shinra done something to the portal that they weren't suppose to have or had someone come in and done something behind their backs...

The wind shot through as the playful Sylph appeared and wisked the goblins around like ragdolls. Playful giggles left the girl as she turned to Seirra and waved her goodbye.
With the vanishing of the wind summon also meant the vanishing of the wind. The goblins would drop like rocks to the ground below and wallow in pain for a long moment but still they would stand. Battered and bruised, singed and shocked, they pressed on. One last mighty...ish roar from each of them and they would charge the girl, mouths wide open to chomp on her flesh this time.

"NOOOOOO! .... damn it... She had almost been sure taht hit was going to kill them all but no, lady luck just had to laugh in her face. Mumbling under her breath she let them attempt and bit her but their teeth barely peirced her skin. Gribbing her staff tightly she swang it at them hopefully this would finish what ever was left to be done. Now normally she'd just use some fire spell and watch them burn but she could feel her energy was getting lower an dwho know what monsters were waiting for her, she had to save what she had left.
"Will you guys DIE ALREADY!"

[Seeing as how her min damage with her staff is higher than the current goblins hp, no need to roll damage]
A distinct cracking noise would be heard as her staff came in contact with the head of one of the goblins. The goblins head would spin in an uncomfortable angle and send his body hurtling along with it. Another goblin's head would sink further into his chest than it should have been able too as she clubbed in on the noggin and the third simply died from blunt force trauma.
In the end, they were all dead, laying in crumpled heaps on the ground.
However, the girl would probably have very little time to celebrate her victory as a loud "s**t" would leave the mouth of Ceh.
He would come leaping down from the pathway leading to the portal and draw both blades in a blinding flash. His leap would put him just a few millimeters in front of a wash of light. When the light subsided, a foul stench would begin to rift through the air. Ceh instantly covered his noise and began to back away from the portal and back towards the gaping hole in the wall. "s**t... not one of those..."
He glanced to the girl and her victory and nodded, "Good for you. Now lets get out of here, NOW!"

Seira blinked when she heard Ceh call out to her telling her to run. Run from what? Beign curiosu in nature as she was she obviously looked, but she wouldn't really have to considering a very very strong stench filled the air. Eyes opening wide at the monster which had just revealed itself she darted right after Ceh. "Did you do what you needed?"

Ceh glanced to the girl.... she was following him but not fast enough. He looked to the malboro that slinked down the ramp. It's body as so putred that the slime it left on the ramp slowly ate away at it and rusted what was left. Ceh growlled to himself. He could probably take this thing but he damn sure didn't want to.
To make matters worse, he heard a loud roar from behind them. He gave himself the briefest of moments to glance back and saw that it was a Behemoth rounding the corner. "Dammit... Kid, I'm gonna need you to run hard and fast you got me? Go back the way we came and, if you're lucky, that pathway'll still be open. Go, NOW!"

"Stop calling me kid dammit and I'm running as fast as I can," Seira yelled irritated at him. It wasn't her fault she lacked some physical strength, speed and endurance. Most of her training as a child had been all magic based neglected physical training. Only in the past couple of years had she been working on it but she was behind others when it came it. Thinking of commenting on something else she decided agaisnt it and simply did as he had said. After all she wanted to get out of there alive.

The two beasts glanced to the girl but she was small fry compared to the man that stood at a breaths length away from them. The Behemoth snorted at Seira as she passed by, almost as saying she wasn't worth the effort... or maybe more like 'I'll see you later'. I could be paraphrasing.
Glancing back to Ceh, the beasts began to circle around him. Of course, the Behemoth stayed downwind of the Malboro... even in the kingdom of monsters, no one liked a malboro.
It was a tense situation... to be honest, Ceh could easily defeat the beasts with a summon or two but there simply wasn't enough room for the summons he'd want to call.
And then, it would happen. From further down a man would scream out, "Stop those bombs! Their heading to the ammunition room!"
You know it's bad when even the monsters understand what was just said and start to freak. The behemoth dashed off further down the hall and the malboro began to slink back to the portal.
"Bombs?! Dammit! Wait... didn't that negative A cup just... DAMMIT!!" it was too late. A huge explosion would send Ceh flying back against a wall. It was obvious that the explosion would be felt all over the Shinra building but hopefully it would stay in tact.... Ceh began to stir after a few moments and moved towards the doorway, "Kid... hey kid, where are you?"
The path they had come down to get here was chared and holly thanks to the explosion. Sparks flew from the now exposed wire. Body parts to mangled to be recognized hung or burned all around. It was a horror show...

Seira had been running following the path they had come by avoiding as much as possible the chaos going on around her. She was doing just fine until the words ‘bombs’ and ‘ammunition room’ entered her ears but to make matters worse she was basically next to the very room, it was a still a few meters a head of her but still. Digging her feet into the ground her body came to a sudden stop as she then turned around as quickly as possible heading back to where she had left Ceh. Unfortunately after taking a few steps was when the explosion happened. Her light body was easily sent flying into the nearby wall, the back of her head hitting it with a loud ‘thud’, the second she took the damage to her head she instantly blacked forgetting the word around her.
Slowly while moans escaped her mouth the world which had once been dark began to light up again. Bit by bit her mind began to interpret the images her eyes collected revealing to her the situation she was in. Debris and rubble were everywhere along with some very unpleasant things she wished she would have not seen. Gently she tried sitting up where she was moaning again from the pain it caused, her mind felt like hell she was taking forever to process things and the only thought currently going through her mind was what the hell… It was after a few moments the explosion would come to mind.
In the process of sitting up she tried moving her legs but found that one of them wouldn’t move and it wasn’t because it was broken ( fortunately ) but rather because there was some heavy debris from god knows what on top of him. ”..Damn…” she mumbled to herself as she saw her leg stained with blood along with realizing she was going to have to somehow get what was on her off. Shifting her body she put her hands on the object and began with what little strength she had pushing it off of her. At first it wouldn’t budge but then inch by inch it started to move till finally she was able to pull her leg free, her wound was able to be seen. It was quite the injury, a good few inches deep in the middle of her thigh and pretty long as well. Taking a deep breath she leaned her back against the wall as she rested for a bit.
Feeling something ooze down her neck Seira put her hand to the back of her head, her hands picking up the same ooze. Bringing it in front of her she sighed as she saw the crimson liquid, blood. ”Great….”
Finally after a few good moments she remembered about Ceh. Getting up, extremely slowly, she then tried making her way out of the mess, limping due to the wound on her leg. Biting her lip she ignored the pain and not only that tried her best not to black out again, her body was feeling quite weak from all the blood she had lost from the various wounds on her body.

Ceh moved through the debris with ease. Unfortunaly, he had been through quite a few messes like this before and it probablyw ouldn't be the last mess he went through. There were still a few monsters alive here and there but they were mostly banged and battered. It was easy to notice this as they would look to Ceh and simply look away, not caring enough to give chase. After all, everyone had something more important to deal with.
As for the people he passed, he couldn't very well just let them croak so as he went, he would apply what first aid he could. His mind was still out of it from the injury he took but he was in far better shape than most of the folks around here. The stench of burning flesh began to wift through the air. Considering how many holes and vents there were in the corridor, that meant that there was a huge amount of death ahead.
However, he had become accustom to the stench thanks to his past and so he just went forward, "Yo, Midget! You still in one piece?"

The world around her seemed to swirl and darken but Seira pushed her body to keep moving forcing it to not faint on her, at least not yet. Ceh's voice began to call her yet she didn't hear it at first but slowly it got louder and she realized who it was. If this had been a different scenario she would've been anything but happy to know he was there but bleeding from more then one place, having hit her head hard she was somewhat happen to know someone was there to take her to safty. Inching her way towards him she finally spotting him. Picking up her speed slightly she limped over to him and when she was close enough grabbed his arm for support.
"Unfortunatly for you you're going ot have to deal with me a little bit longer..." her eye sight as she spoke began to swirl as black specks kept on getting bigger until finally she passed out right then and there landing on Ceh's chest, asuming he didn't move out of the way or catch her first.

He caught her and sighed as he gazed to the midget. She was bleeding all over and in these conditions, it was sure to get infected even if he healed her now. He did a bit of patch work on her wounds for the time being. She wouldn't die but she'd definitaly feel it when she woke up. The place was in shambles and he had to get out of here now. Another explosion, an aftershook, rocked the foundation of the place.
Without much thought, he looked down the hall. The path they had come from was completly totalled. He didn't even spare a thought for those SOLDIERs that were over there. He knew this area somewhat and thus he headed back the way they came and took a quick dash up the path.
